Take the Titanic Trail Walking Tour (one of Ireland's best and most informative walkingtours in Ireland, a must). Spike Island Tour and the Titanic Experience. Also Fota Wildlife Park and Fota Golf Resort,( which hosted the Irish Open in 2014) a mere 5 minutes outside the town.. I am also less then 5 minutes to Jameson Distillery, Midleton.

The wagon is a good place to escape to. Lie in bed in the morning, read your book, hear the birds sing, see the sun peeking over the mountain. On a fine evening, you can light a fire. You might see a fox, you might see a deer or a hare. One time I saw a red squirrel playing in the Oak tree. Bring your sketch pad, your journal, your knitting. This is a place to rest and recuperate. It’s also a good stop off for people walking the Beara Way.

We are 5 min drive from the famous sailing village of Crosshaven home of the oldest sailing club in the world. We are approximately 20 mins drive from Kinsale which is a real tourist attraction. There are lots of interesting sighseening attractions within easy reach of our house.
