It was a perfect location for visiting Dollar and St Andrews.

We had a fantastic return visit to this great property. We enjoyed a murder mystery party and loved posing for photos on the grand staircase. Lots of room for our large group without ever feeling crowded. We will definitely be back again.

A family vacation in Scotland was made even more special due to Evie's lovely house. The house was in a nice location, not too far from Edingburh and Glasgow also close to some lovely views and walks. Evie has stocked up the cupboards, making it one less issue to worry about during our weekend stay. Allowing us to maximise our time relaxing and enjoying the beautiful surroundings. Evie's Victorian mansion beat our expectations in terms of charm, thoughtful availability of amenities, kitchen supplies, PS3/board games for all ages. The location is great too. Tillicoultry is a charming town with beautiful views of the hills. Highly recommended.

Evie’s house is wonderful! Soaring ceilings, intricate woodwork and a glorious skylight. A group of ten of us stayed extremely comfortably, gathering around the warmth of the Aga for hearty breakfasts, and out in the lovely garden to admire the roses. Evie made everyone feel welcome and provided all the information we needed. A good base for trips into Edinburgh or out into the Trossachs and Loch Lomond. Would highly recommend.

I definitely recommend Malcolm! The apartment is very close to the city center about (10 min walk). It is super clean. Finally, I'd recommend the host. Malcolm is one of the kindest people I've ever met. Staying in his house is an essence of Airbnb. you have an opportunity to meet a guy who travels more than you, who can help you to improve your trip by sharing his experience. I look forward to booking a room next time.

I had an excellent one-night stay at Malcolm's warm and cosy house on the outskirts of Stirling, with a much-appreciated cup of tea on arrival. The room and bed were very comfortable, with ensuite shower which was great. Malcolm was a warm and welcoming host, and I very much enjoyed some interesting conversation over a morning cuppa (breakfast was available if I'd wanted it). Look forward to staying over again on a future trip. Communication was very prompt and informative.

We had a short but sweet stay at Malcolms. He was welcoming, had a lovely place and had loads of recommendations for Stirling which was great and just what we needed for our last night in Scotland.

Nice little place. Very quiet. Great for shops, railway and main road. Easy parking.

Patrick's place is very cosy, clean and fully equipped. A few steps to the train station and bus station, you can get whatever you want around the house. Patrick and his wife are super hospitable and friendly. One night I dried my clothes in the yard, because the wind was too big, so my clothes fell. Patrick and his wife noticed that getting up in the middle of the night helped me to reinforce the clothes on the rope. Thank you so much again. If I have a chance, I will absolutely go back to visit again. Thanks again!

A quirky and very comfortable base to explore other parts of Scotland. Bed was comfy and had fab nights sleep. It was as written on the tin. Got a warm welcome from Patrick. The location is perfect as it's so quiet. Not far from shops and places of local interest like the Alloa Tower.

Jamie’s place is a fantastic new build property on a quiet estate. The house is well equipped with fast Wi-fi, a great kitchen and 3 comfy bedrooms. The parking is off street and there is room for 2 cars which is perfect for larger groups. The house had everything we needed for comfy evenings after days out exploring Scotland. The location of Alloa is perfect, as it’s only an hour to Edinburgh, and around 2 hours to places like Loch Lomond, the spectacular Glen Coe Valley (the drive along the A82 is phenomenal) and St Andrews. There are a plethora of supermarkets in Alloa all within a couple minutes drive of the property. On top of this, the house was warm to come back to after a day exploring in the Scottish autumnal cold! Jamie - although away for work - was a great host, and was quick to respond to any and all queries we had and made sure that check in/out was smooth and seamless. Will look to book again upon a (definite) return trip to Scotland! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Opulent breakfast, nice cosy place, almost like 4 star hotel

The room has a very nice view and is very comfortable. Despite a somewhat complicated arrival, we were made to feel very welcome. And what a superb breakfast !!

The welcome could not have been warmer, as we were greeted by Jasenka (Ivana’s Mum) with hot drinks. The bedroom was spacious, and the bed very comfortable with a memory foam mattress. Everywhere clean, fresh and with attractive decor. Very warm too. We had a good chat with Jasenka before going out for the evening. Next morning she had prepared a delightful breakfast, more than ample for our needs. Cereals, bread, preserves, cheese, cold meat, orange juice, pancakes and a Croatian dish of pancakes with cottage cheese and sour cream which were delicious. Our visit certainly exceeded our expectations, and we would recommend to anyone.

We were greeted by Jasenka, Ivana's mother, who was very attentive to us right away, preparing slippers for us. Heart shaped chocolates were waiting for us on the bed ☺️ (Valentine's Day) We were able to chat over a hot tea when we arrived. The room is comfortable and very clean. Upon awakening, a King's breakfast awaited us. Jasenka was very welcoming and friendly, open and friendly. A rare quality hostess! Our best Rbnb experience. Thank you very much ! We will come back !

Excellent value for money. good location for public travel, sightseeing, walking into town. Excellent takeaways and pubs near by walking distance. The breakfast provided for no extra harge was fabulous. I arrived late and it was dark and made very welcome with coffee and home made snacks. Linen smelt fresh, bed was comfortable. Only negative was no wifi which is not a bad thing at all as it gave me a reality check and life without wifi was good. I cheated used the wifi on my phone!. Very good local knowledge and able to give directions .Fabulous host and will stay again.

We used this place as a pit stop to the next destination we were going to. We arrived in the late evening and the host had made us some food (although we didn’t eat it as we had already just eaten). The host was really hospitable and also said she can make us whatever we wanted for breakfast. We left in the morning so were happy with our stay.

My stay in this house has been great, the beds are comfortable, the heating is perfect, it has milk, juice, cereals and some cookies for breakfast, and the best thing of all is that you don't have to share the bathroom.

Lee was a fantastic host. Unfortunately he was away during my stay but was easy to get hold of and had accommodated for breakfast and all beverages which was a lovely touch. The space was extremely clean and tidy and the location is beautiful - you only have to walk out of the front door to see the views! I'd recommend staying to anyone, it's set up for all ages.

Lee was excellent to communicate with! He took our booking on the same day we contacted him, last minute and with such promptness! His space is lovely and safe, with touches of local pamphlets and the goodies! This place is located near enough to Stirling for quiet and convenience with free parking. We had a rental car.

Very clean and practical house for a family

A great Airbnb, much bigger than it appears in photos. Exceptionally clean with plenty crockery, towels etc. Within walking distance of train station, supermarkets, bars and restaurants. A large bathroom and an additional large shower room offering plenty space for our party to get wedding prepped. Wouldn’t hesitate to book again if in the area.

Stayed here for nearly 4 weeks quite place to stay so clean and tidy. 😀

We had two stays, one for 2 weeks and then we decided to go for another week as the place is very practical for a long term business stay. It has all the practical things you need, cooker, washing machine, TV, access to great hikes. The shop for refilling electricity and gas is right across the street. There was nothing we really missed. As per previous review, the decor is quite basic, but I find that to be a minor thing in my opinion, considering you get the entire flat for yourself. Great stay.

The location is great, it has beautiful hills right at your doorstep for hiking, it's a quiet little village within short driving distance to Dunfermline and Stirling. Thanks to the detailed description the flat was easy to find, the key was in a lockbox and we could let ourselves in. The flat itself is basic in decor, but has a fully stacked kitchen, TV and washing machine, which makes this ideal for a longer term stay or for work trips. The reason we chose this place was due to having full privacy, and also very important, a great price. For what you get, this place is steal. John have been an excellent host, who has replied promptly to any queries. The only (minor) downside would be that there is no internet and we were unable to access the pub wi-fi from the flat. If we weren't moving into the area ourselves, I would definitively book another stay in the future.

Diane has a lovely bnb. It is one of the nicest bnb’s I have stayed at. She has a lovely room and a lovely kitchen. There is also a well set up and furnished tv room to relax in. Diane was very quick to reply to messages. I highly recommend this bnb.

Simply wonderful! Diane is a delight! She's kind, helpful, and nothing is too much trouble for her. Her place is super sparkly clean and comfy, and has the most amazing bath and shower! I do hope I can come back!

The house‘s location is in the not large village, about 25-30 minutes by bus from Stirling. The nature around is very beautiful. It is fully equipped and comfortable for guests. The host is welcome and helpful. Everything was fine :)

A perfect little spot in Alloa, easy walking distance from the train station and also Inglewood House where we attended a wedding. Arlene was so friendly and welcoming, and the place was exceptional. Clean, comfortable and quiet. We really appreciated her being flexible with our arrival time, and having access to a cup of tea in the morning.

Nicki's place in Alva, Clackmannan, is a gorgeous oasis of calm with a boutique feel. It is beautifully decorated throughout whilst also feeling comfortable and relaxing. The property is cosy with enough space to relax comfortably in the shared living room, or have a meal at the kitchen breakfast bar. The guest room is comfortable and spacious enough for single traveller or couple, with lovely touches, including scented candles, bedside lamp, a cosy blanket, and soft fluffy towels. The bathroom has a shower with option of rainforest or standard shower heads with good water pressure. Nicki is a friendly and bubbly host who could not have done more to make me feel welcome, whilst also very respectful of my personal space. The location is easily accessible by car or transport links (buses and trains). Local food stores and restaurants are a short walk, with more options a few minutes drive into Alloa, or Bridge of Allan, or Stirling. I would highly recommend Nicki's place for your next trip to or near Stirling. You'll be glad you stopped by.

It was a super rental property. Spotless and beautifully furnished, I would have no hesitation using the place again or recommending to anyone. The location was in a new housing estate not too far from town . The landlord was in touch to see all ok and no problems with keys or access very good service.

Lis' home is 2 to 5 minutes walk to loads of takeaways and grocery stores (Tesco and Lidl) and she provides you with helpful tips from booking to check-in.

Excellent host. Jaynes house was very clean and stylish. Everything needed to cook meals. The bedroom was very comfortable and spacious. I was also provided with a big TV and a now TV stick letting me have use of Netflix. Definitely recommend Jayne as an excellent stay..

Great place to stay for big families, lovely big 5 bed detached house with amenities within walking distance. Loads of space not everyone cramped on top of each other would highly recommend staying there again. Clean and tidy and everything you need including a den for the kids which they loved.

Another great stay at Richards. Had our grandson with us this time and everything was sorted for him.

We loved staying at this lovely old cottage, it was only 5min walk to town, supermarkets and walking distance to the train station. The cottage is off a main road but was quiet, lovely big towels, a firm bed, plenty of basics and a welcome pack of goodies and instruction on how to run the place with information of things to do in the area. Richard's communication was clear. We found an old pub the Royal Oak and the food was good and reasonably priced. This place felt like a home and we would return which we don't say very often.

Richards cottage is very comfortable and cosy. I had a wonderful stay there. It is very local. 5min walk to the train station. Which was very handy as it is only 45mins to Glasgow and only 15mins to Stirling.

This is just like a home from home. The lodge is sparkling clean and very cosy. This is ideal for one or two people and Marilyn is a great host as far as communication and advice about the area goes.

The lodge is the perfect place for a couple. The location is great for example vitising Stirling for a day. Everything you need is close by as long as you are traveling by car. The accommodation has everything it needs and I would definitely recommend it. Only thing if I needed to mention something negative is that a main road is just a few meters away. But that did not bother us too much. Thank you so much fur having us Marilyn!

A lovely wee lodge. Warm, cosy, clean and comfortable. Marilyn is welcoming and approachable. We felt quite at home for the few days stay at the lodge.

The Tanhouse Studio is perfect for a quiet getaway. Everything you could need coupled with amazing views. Took us some time to find the entrance to the property but it was well worth the wait. Great little apartment for two! Sophie’s was a cozy and stylish space, insanely comfortable bed, hot shower, and secure location. There is a beautiful view of the fife, bridges, and cities across the water. The village was lovely as was the Red Lion pub and coastal walking trail. It is also close to the abbey and a pretty lookout over some gardens. Perfect for daytripping into Edinburgh too. Just a sweet little area all around. Despite the winter weather we enjoyed our stay and having a warm, dry place to relax in between adventures! Thank you Sophie and Gavin!

We had a lovely stay here, the studio was lovely, clean and spacious. Great location to get to different places in Scotland and lovely views from the studio. Lots of information left by the hosts which was nice.

Sophie and Gavin's stunning wee studio apartment is in the centre of a picturesque village that will take you back in time to the 17th century. Myself and my husband are just back yesterday from our weekend away for his birthday and we weren't disappointed. The apartment was spotless and had everything we needed for our stay, it is beautifully decorated and the space well utilised. Sophie and Gavin were amazing hosts and very discreet. There is a wee pub a couple of minuteswalk from the apartment, although we didn't eat here, we did join the locals for a few drinks, a lovely and welcoming pub. Would highly recommend this apartment to anyone and we can't wait to make a return visit in the summer.

This place is a real gem. Set in a beautiful village, Sophie has gone the extra mile to make each of her guests feel welcome. Everything we needed was there and more and the views were extra special. We will definitely come back!

My husband and I had a lovely stay. We had a wedding at Inglewood Hotel and Spa which was only a minutes walk away. The flat had everything we needed for our weekend. Frank met us when we arrived and left us some biscuits and milk which was a lovely touch.

We stopped over for a night on a very long drive north. What a perfect place to relax after the journey! The bed was super comfy and the kitchen and bathroom were clean and really well equipped. Andrea and Kai went above and beyond and I couldn’t fault a thing.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 day stay in Andrea's Wee Studio. We were given a very warm welcome, nothing was too much trouble and any requests were dealt with very quickly. The added extra of breakfast was very welcome and overall our stay was excellent value.

Would recommend this place to anyone visiting Scotland for a short trip. Stirling is beautiful with lots to do around the area and its not far from Loch Leven and Edinburgh. The house was lovely and clean with comfy beds and everything you would need!

Andrew's place is a great base for exploring Central Scotland, really close to the main sights, lots places to eat and drink within walking distance. Andrew’s listing is exactly as described. The studio itself had everything we needed to stop and spend a few days planning the next part of our travels. The washing facilities were a huge bonus as were the cooking facilities.  It is a small, clean and homely space on the ground floor of the owner’s house with a garden. The bathroom is very small but it was super clean which was very important for me! Andrew and Olivia were really quick to respond and easy to communicate with. I wouldn’t recommend it for a group of friends as it is a little space but an ideal place to stay for a couple or close relatives who are looking for a nice place for a few days in a reasonable price.

The studio flat is beautiful, sparkling clean and included lots of really thoughtful touches. I would stay again for sure.

Great to stay overnight

Sanita was a great host and got us in last minute! Very nice place and also loved hanging with the cat, great stay!

I had a wonderful time at Sanitas place. The bedroom was very stylish and had a comfy bed, everything was spotless and very well organized. But most of all I liked the chats with Sanita who is a lovely person.

Sanita's place was comfortable, clean, conveniently located for a nearby wedding and moreover very good value for money. We'd happily stay there again.

Sanita was a great host, I had booked my friend in and he said Sanitas place was welcoming clean and comfortable. A great relaxed host.

We loved staying here in Clackmannan over the New Years break. It’s a nice small town and taxis to and from Alloa were very cheap. The flat is above a pub but it wasn’t noisy and we only heard a little traffic noise in the morning. We spent most of our time in Alloa or Stirling and would recommend trying Coopers & the Old Brewery in Alloa. William was a great and friendly host and everything in the flat worked perfectly ☺️ Thanks again.

I was in Clackmannan with work, but I had time to visit the most beautiful areas of Scotland, the location is excellent, even on the ground floor there is a bar with billiards and very good beer, I photographed the surroundings which are wonderful: Clackmannan Tower, from Alloa, from Stirling and many other wonderful places, nearby you will find the wonderful Scottish cows that know how to pose very beautiful! The hosts are wonderful and offered all the comfort, the house is very beautifully decorated with great taste! Thank you very much to the hosts and I will be back soon is wonderful!

Stylish décor and very clean

William was an amazing host nothing was too much trouble, we had a tiny problem which he sorted out immediately for us. The apartment was stylish, clean, spacious and modern. Everything you need is provided. Best of all it was reasonably priced. This was our second accommodation we had used from William. Both were amazing. We would definitely recommend William. And definitely be booking again with him.

The place is clean tidy has plenty of beds and is located close to the shops bars of the town

Definitely the place to go if you visiting Alloa or nearby lovely house, amazing price. Ceiligg is a tad low in some areas of the house so if you tall keep that in mind but definitely worth it.

Excellent place to stay

A dedicated parking spot made life very easy! Inside Patrick has made a very comfortable living space, and even provided extra folding beds and a cot (for the dinner guests who won’t leave?) Having a freezer was a luxury I did not expect. We found that we were in easy walking distance of loads of different supermarkets and the train. This was a very pleasant stay!

Absolutely fantastic flat very spacious local supermarket just around the corner . Outlet shops 6 miles away , Edinburgh and Glasgow within 45 minutes drive. A brilliant location to explore Scotland . Will book again .

Great place, nice and clean and exactly what we were looking for

Amir's place is very clean and comfortable. It was convenient stop between our visits to Edinburgh and Stirling. I would highly recommend her place.

We stayed just for one night in our way to Edinburgh from the highlands. The place is perfect to visit Stirling and the Wallace monument.

Clean and conveniently located next to a local pub and food stalls

This lovely flat is beautifully decorated and pristine. It was very clean , nice quality bedding. Lots of towels and lovely touches to feel like a home from home. I would highly recommend this property. Having booked an airbnb elsewhere the week before, that was dirty and felt unsafe, I was thrilled to have my faith in Airbnb's renewed after the stay in this lovely home. Thank you Amie.

Pub just next door. Local shops close to apartment.

A bit noisy because lying behind a pub but very manageable. Absolutely perfect in my opinion.

Highly recommended!
