We are located in the middle of the beautiful nature areas 'Vestheie' and 'Austheie'. You are living on a farm which has chickens and goats. The appartment is part of the shed, completely isolated and renovated. It has a sleepingroom, livingroom + open kitchen and bathroom. In the summertime there is a large picknick table available outside. It is the perfect stay for families. The house is a farmhouse from 1907, it was completely renovated in 2019. The house is located in an open landscape surrounded by farms that run sheep, cows and horses. These surroundings create beautiful views from all around. On our farm we cultivate fruits and berries, and produce apple cider and aronia juice for sale. In addition, we have a small home bakery where we bake potato cakes. The house is located undisturbed in relation to both neighbors and the host family's home.

The house is located in Ryfylke, where nature shows itself from its best side. From the farm, where the house is located, there is a alot to do. Mountain hikes, rivers, sea and fishing. There are also 60 wild sheep living on the farm. A 9-hole disc golf course has been established on the farm. See «Hyllehaugen disk golf» on the app «Udisc». We have disks for rent. Distance to the Pulpit Rock is 1.5 hours. Other recommended trips are "Skomakernibbå", "Røssenibben" or Blåsjø.

Benedikte's house on architect-designed Svindland farm

Benedikte House is located about ten minutes drive from Egersund city center and about five minutes from E39. We have tried to recreate the hospitality of Benedikte - the last one who lived in the old house - in this modern and completely newly built farmhouse on the edge of the yard at Svindland farm. Here guests will find peace and quiet. On the farm there are horses, we have two dogs and a cozy peacock couple that walk freely. The house is very modern and well equipped.

Within 1 hour by car you can reach the towns of Stavanger and Eigersund, or visit Månafossen and Kongeparken. It takes ca 1,5 hours by car to the parking at Preikestolen.
