We've had great and comfortable stay at the cabin. It has everything that you might need for either short or longer stay. Cabin was clean, instructions were clear and the place itself was amazing. Highly recommend and we all felt regret having slept there just one night.

This place is just beautiful!

Nice simple cottage with a view and access to the fjord. All necessary fixtures, including coffee maker, kettle, microwave and large refrigerator with freezer. Outdoor kitchen and shower with hot water. An experience. Toilet nearby. Access to kayaks and sauna was a plus, which we did not get to use. The cabin is particularly suitable as a starting point for hiking and experiences on the fjord. I highly recommend hiking to Hatten. Sollifjell - beautiful route to parking and varied hiking. The trip to Preikestolen was very busy, people everywhere. Trip to Månafossen was worth a visit. It has been easy to communicate with Bjart.

A lovely bungalow right by the sea – the location couldn't be better! The bungalow is fully equipped, nothing is missing – perfect for a relaxing stay. You feel immediately welcome and in good hands. We enjoyed our stay and will be happy to come back anytime. Highly recommended!

Very nice place, well marked hiking trails with nice views and almost no tourists. Our children enjoyed the surroundings of the house very much. Olav was very friendly, and nothing was problem.

Beautiful cottage in the middle of nature without neighbors. Primitive, but works well! Nice sauna. Several fantastic hiking trails in the area. Nice restaurant at the hotel in Rysstad, when you miss a little luxury. Very sweet host who responds immediately and is helpful. Warmest recommendations from here.

We booked the cottage with three adults and felt very comfortable with Alma and Björn. There is a nice mix of old and modern here. If you want to rest here, you're in the right place. Only with accommodation for eight people could we imagine that it will be a little too crowded.

Spacious house with great views

Easy check-in, good communication, friendly host. Cottage was pleasant and we had a comfortable stay. Excellent option for staying in the area inexpensively. Shared bathroom area is well-designed. Quiet and peaceful in late May.

Our stay at Tom and Stella’s place was perfect. They were both really nice and this made the whole experience awesome. It is quite small but everything is well arranged and practical so it did not bother us. They allowed us to shower at their place and even drove us to the train station when needed. Would definitely recommend to stay there, it was a great experience!

The only word that can describe the place and host is “TOPNOTCH”

The cottage is as described: nice and well located with the only disadvantage of the bed being a little short. A beautiful sunny terrace in the evening. It's not far from Preikestolen, which we found convenient to start this walk early. We really enjoyed our stay! Mona communicated with us well!

Just so peaceful and serene here. A wonderful location to switch off and chill.

This plass was amazing!!!

We spent 12 nights in Olaug's beautiful house and felt completely comfortable. The breathtaking views and the great outdoor area with lots of seating and grills were amazing. The house itself is cozy and clean, we immediately felt comfortable. The kitchen has also been equipped with everything we could use as a family of 4 for a longer stay. Olaug has been an attentive host who was very quick to respond to our questions and was very friendly and open in contact with us. We liked it so much that we had a hard time leaving.

I cannot emphasize enough how relaxing and splendid our experience was! We had an amazing time staying there for our honeymoon! The host and her husband were very kind, friendly, and hospitable. Even though we came during Christmas, they went out of their way to make us feel welcome! They even set us up a Christmas tree in the cabin and provided home-made snacks. There was plenty of fire wood, so we stayed nice and warm. The beds were so soft! The back four beds could easily fit two people each, for those who are wondering. If you stay with them, I highly recommend renting the sauna paired with swimming in the fresh water lake! The eggs from the chickens are delicious! The sheep are friendly. It was the coziest, most relaxing place we have ever stayed. We are so grateful to have been able to visit! It really made our honeymoon special. We hope to one day come back during the summer to see how the area differs, but we suspect it is spectacular at any point in the year.

Fantastic place! The cabin is even more beautiful than in the pictures and has everything you need. I loved the hot shower and the comfortable bed! The location is peaceful, with great hikes like Preikestolen nearby, and a ferry that offers spectacular views of the Lysefjord from the water. Alf is super responsive, friendly, and a great host. Absolutely worth it!

We fled the rain and spontaneously found a dry place here. The view of the fjord is simply unique, we were lucky and were able to see a magnificent sunset. We felt super comfortable! A very nice hostess and the view is an absolute dream! It is super clean and very lovingly furnished. Hikes in the immediate vicinity

The cottage was well equipped, tastefully decorated, clean and very nicely located. It was a good size and we felt immediately comfortable. Terjer gave us many tips on arrival about what we can do, explained swimming and hiking opportunities, cultural and historical facts, festivities on neighboring islands. She was very friendly in contact and knew many exciting facts about the island and neighboring islands to report. We enjoyed the sea, the sheep and the possibility to travel for free as pedestrians with the car ferries. We had a few rainy days, which is why we only went swimming once, but we felt very comfortable in the cottage itself

This was a fantastic place to stay for a Hyttatur. The views from the hytte were amazing and Gaute was a very accomodating host. The hytte had everything you needed for a comfortable stay and was a short distance to drive to Preikestolen/Stavanger/etc. Would recommend to anyone looking for a good cabin trip!
