What a find. Such a beautiful location for our little break. Such friendly hosts. Everything was wonderful and our children are already asking when we can go back! Both Suzanne and Mark were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you for making our stay so special 😊

Lovely little place, perfect for a get away break. The hottub was great to relax in. The goats are gorgeous and so friendly. The family dog was a welcome visitor. Amazing to sit and listen to the birds and look at the beautiful scenery.

We really enjoyed our stay - the pod was comfortable and well equipped, and onsite management team were friendly and helpful. Beautiful location, very quiet; and lots of things to do in the local area. I suspect we will return in the future!

Mariners is a lovely beach house, fairly cosy size but plenty big enough for 2 adults, 2 teenage children and a golden retriever. Only a few minutes down to a lovely huge beach. Would certainly visit again.

Beautiful space! Even better than it looks in the photos. Amenities like butter, eggs, bread, salt and pepper were supplied, so we didn't need to bring much. The grounds and cabin were well looked after, the hot tub spot-less and easy to use, and the bed was so comfortable we didn't want to leave! Thank you again to Liam and Sarah for being such wonderful hosts. We'll definitely be booking again!

Very beautiful peaceful area, Nic's place was clean and cosy, had everything you need, it was private but there was another hut just next to us which surprised us. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and beautiful views, I recommend this to anyone who wants to relax and escape city noises.

Lovely little place for our mini getaway. Set in gorgeous and private location, we even had the pleasure of seeing deer, rabbits, ducks and the farm dogs during our stay. The toilet was a little different than we are use to but did not impact our stay. Would recommend.

We were made really welcome on our arrival and both Fiona and Andrew were very quick to let us know the best places to visit. Unfortunately I found on arrival that I had made a mistake in where we were because I was as looking for a place near Pickering and didn’t realise that there are two Pickerings in North Yorkshire and I had gone to the wrong area. As we were visiting a friend who had moved up to Malton we didn’t see much of the area we were staying in but we will go back there soon to see it because it had a lot to see. We would be very happy to stay at Fiona and Andrew’s property especially as they are so welcoming and helpful. We should also say thank you to Blue, their dog, who was very happy to keep our dog company.

The Potting Shed was a perfect cosy place to rest between a busy weekend — a beautiful, peaceful spot. Our host was so helpful and friendly. And big shout outs to Mabel the dog & Javier the tortoise! Thanks for having us 💜

We had an amazing weekend at the Barn Owl Shepherds Hut. It was in a very private location with beautiful views. The accommodation had everything we needed. It felt very luxurious with added extras like the welcome hamper and hot tub making it extra special. It was the perfect setting for a marriage proposal (she said 'Yes'!).

Lovely place to stay. Amazing view of the sunset. Well looked after facilities. Great location. Very peaceful and felt at home. Shame qe had to come home to normality haha. Thankyou jon. Will deffo be back again. Amy and dom xx

We absolutely loved it and would highly recommend it. Anybody from a town should visit a place like this once a year to understand how beautiful nature is. The place was absolutely gorgeous and beautifully maintained. I spent equal time looking at nature, and admiring the woodbuilt boathouse.

Lovely relaxing weekend spent here in mid March. Second visit after a few years gap and the return trip did not disappoint. Bruce is the perfect host, interesting and interested, a very warm and generous welcome - made to feel at home and then left to relax and unwind - exactly as I remembered from my first trip. Cosy wagon, comfortable bed, hot shower, incredible views. I would highly recommend a visit.

Absolutely gorgeous location for this fantastic Shepherds Hut. Fantastic host Caroline and Sally 🐶. The Shepherds Hut has everything you need to enjoy a relaxing peaceful break. Sit by the fire pit enjoying the night time birds singing. The village is close by and equipped with every shop you’ll need. Everywhere is within easy reach by car or walking. You will not be disappointed when staying here.

The lodge itself is stunning with every detail covered, Amazing views and the hot tub is such a treat. Immaculately clean. Good food at the Royal Oak Pateley Bridge. lovely walks nearby. We found the annex perfect for our short stay. We were attending a family wedding at Skipbridge, so the location was perfect for us. The annex was as described with the added bonus of milk in the fridge for that well earned cuppa on arrival. We didn't personally meet the host, due to the nature of our visit, but communication was quick & helpful. We would use the annex again, if we were visiting that area.
