This a lovely cosy, quirky little home. It is clean and well maintained. We really enjoyed our stay and thought Julia the host was exceptionally helpful and responsive. We will absolutely return.

Lovley spacious cabin, couldn’t have been any better ! Donna is a great host, very welcoming, and made everything as easy as possible, and the hot tub just topped it all off !! Perfect.

Unbelievable stay. I am a sucker for romantic hideaways with hot tubs! Have done loads but this place trumps everyone! My partner’s birthday- Katie decorated it as a surprise! Did not expect that. Luxurious, beautiful little touches throughout the lodge. The views to die for. Extremely comfortable. Perfect nights sleep. Quiet. Planning to return soon as want to visit Castleton and hope valley. Definitely well worth booking ❤️

Such a peaceful area, with stunning views over the sea. The pod itself is so cute and cosy, perfect for a weekend getaway with your partner. Carole and Graham’s responsiveness as hosts was amazing, very helpful with things to do in the area - only a 4 minute drive from Saltburn pier! Hopefully we get to come back soon 🤩

The canon exceeded expectations. everything was clean and well presented. we had everything we needed. The location is great and everyone we encountered at the property and nearby was friendly and helpful. Would absolutely recommend.

We had a wonderful stay! The home was really beautifully decorated with great attention to detail—it felt cozy and inviting from the moment we arrived. The hot tub was a lovely touch and made the experience even more relaxing. The host was very responsive and made sure everything we needed was available. We had the most magical stay at the Delph Donkey. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed warmly by Nigel, whose hospitality made us feel right at home. The setting is absolutely fascinating - charming, peaceful, and full of character. The carriage itself is stunning: beautifully restored, luxuriously comfortable, and incredibly serene. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, making our stay both relaxing and memorable. We also enjoyed lovely walks in the surrounding area and had a fantastic meal at the nearby Old Bell Inn. We would absolutely recommend the Delph Donkey to anyone looking for a unique and tranquil getaway, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit.

Absolutely perfect! I chose to stay at Sandpiper Lodge for my anniversary with my partner. I decided to propose here, and I’m so glad I did! The interior is beautifully presented. Outside, the scenic views from the hot tub are breathtaking. It was a private and peaceful stay - I’d highly recommend booking.

The Chalet proved to be a lovely home from home for our 10-night stay. Dan and Jemma are super-friendly and helpful hosts. And the interior design is lovely. We particularly loved the polygraph / bar, record player, amp and record collections - and Jemma’s delicious homemade sourdough loaf! This was a perfect location from which to explore the many delights that Holmfirth has to offer. And yet it’s peaceful enough to enjoy listening to the birdsong / the rain (though there was only a little!). Thanks Dan and Jemma for a lovely stay!

lovely lady and very welcoming, the lodge itself was very clean and she even left us some delicious cookies, the location was outstanding and over our stay we managed to see a deer wandering along the grass accross from the lodge and a cute family of pheasant, would highly recommend!! also try out the treehouse bar and kitchen thats a 5 min drive!

Me and my boyfriend wanted a getaway for his birthday and this was the perfect place. The pods feel so luxurious for such an amazing price and it is in such a beautiful location. You feel very immersed in nature whilst still within a 15 minute drive from Scarborough or Filey. There were many walks and trails around the area. The owner was very friendly and helpful. My boyfriend left his coat in the pod after checkout but after a quick message to Hale we could go back and collect his coat. Would recommend this pod to any couple looking for a cute and relaxing getaway.

Staying at Emma's lodge was an absolute delight! We were looking for a remote getaway with a hot tub, and this ticked the boxes perfectly. The peaceful, relaxing atmosphere made it the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Nestled on a charming farm, the lodge offered stunning views and a real sense of calm. One of the unexpected highlights? The friendly cows who wandered over to say hello around 11pm, it was such a sweet and memorable moment! Emma was a wonderful host, and everything about the stay felt warm and welcoming. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind in a tranquil, rural setting.
