We absolutely loved our stay. The cottage was beautifully decorated and well equipped, making us feel right at home. The area and scenery were beautiful, making for the perfect relaxing stay.

We had a fantastic family holiday with our two children. the house has everything you will need and Marisa was very helpful during our stay. The kids loved the chickens and the hot tub! Great rural location close to lots of great sights Thanks for having us! x

3 Railway Cottage is a fantastic base to explore the amazing beauty of North Yorkshire. The cottage is located a 20 minute walk from the centre of Pickering but is in a really quiet and private location. The only exception of course is the opportunity to wave at the heritage railway trains that pass at the back of the cottage a few times a day which is really amazing, especially if you wave from the comfort of the hot tub! I can’t recommend this location highly enough, it is a really comfortable and well equipped cottage in a fantastic location - what more could you ask for?

Our second time at the gorgeous Preston Mill Loft and it was just as wonderful as we remember. Super dog friendly, the upgraded hot tub is IMMENSE, comfy bed, welcoming hosts, beautiful scenery, well stocked kitchen. The lot. Cannot recommend highly enough!

Lovely cottage in a great location. Walking the surrounding area from the house was great and very near to a pub and tearoom which both served great food. The hot tub was an added bonus!

We had a wonderful stay in this lovely holiday home which is in a stunning location overlooking Robin Hoods Bay. It really was an unbeatable location. Steve was a fantastic host, giving us all the information we needed about the property and location. He also left us some welcome extras in the fridge 😊 The property was clean and well presented, and the hot tub and snooker room were enjoyable extras. We would happily return to this beautiful, peaceful spot in the future.

Lovely relaxing cottage with everything we needed. Very cosy and relaxing setting with great views from back windows. Enclosed garden for dog or children. Hot tub was a great perk which was well used by us. Rillington village within 10 min walk which had a small shop and a nice pub ( the fleece). Tips for other travellers The fleece in rillington has a nice garden of weather nice and the food was nice too and dog friendly Ham and cheese which is a 5 minute drive the food was very good and dog friendly too although probably too far to walk Lots of walks nearby, we went to dalby Forrest, mallyham spout in goathland and Levisham near Pickering New Connie’s Chinese in malton was also very good

We had the most beautiful stay — the cottage was peaceful, private, and instantly felt like home. Everything was spotless and smelt amazing, with such a lovely, calming vibe throughout. The decor was gorgeous, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The hot tub was the perfect finishing touch for a truly relaxing weekend. The hosts went above and beyond with thoughtful details like fresh eggs in the morning and chocolates waiting for us on arrival. Communication was smooth and friendly from start to finish. You can really feel the care and effort put into every part of the stay. I’d absolutely recommend this place — it’s a little gem, and I’d love to return!

This was our second stay and we cannot fault the cottage. Immaculately clean, and a lovely welcome hamper with the cakes are always a lovely gift to arrive to. We will definitely be back Thanks for having us.

Idyllic, just what we needed, quiet, private setting, weather a bit ..... but that's to be expected that far north. Private field for our dog to explore, outside space to relax. Host very good too, popped in to say hello and check all was ok then left us to it but was on site so if we did need anything. would recommend and if we head north again would defo stay again.

Had a great stay at the bungalow. It was well equipped and the outside area was lovely to sit in and was secure for our Dog to go out in. Great location in a quiet beautiful area where you could sit and relax in the garden. We enjoyed the beautiful walks Rebecca had suggested by the river and in the woods. Also enjoyed visiting Beningbrough national trust which was round the corner. Rebecca made us very welcome with treats on our arrival for both us and Honey, she gave us very clear guidance on everything we needed to know and directions prior to our arrival. She also gave us great, clear information for Honey as well as recommendations for walks and dog friendly pubs/restaurants. We will definitely be returning for another visit in the future.

When we arrived at the accommodation we were a little anxious about what we would find behind the scruffy looking front door - however, the accommodation suited us perfectly, with a nice suprise or two, and the welcome from Dan and his team far than made up for the lack of paint on the front door!! We would definitely stay here again and can’t fault the food and Guinness at the pub next door (where Dan is chef). Only complaint would be that we didn’t experience a sunset evening, but you can’t have everything can you?!

We had a lovely time, explored the local village, as well as short car drives to Helmsley and Thirsk. The cottage was spotless, with comfortable beds, quality bedding and extremely well equipped kitchen. A peaceful garden with fabulous views. We enjoyed caring for the chickens who rewarded us with eggs. Thank you Faron.

We are a family of 3 generations and the property suited us perfectly. Excellent location for Ampleforth College and beyond. Helmsley Pickering and further afield. Very easy to communicate with Marian who gets straight back to you when contacted. An excellent property and lovely and warm in winter. Good parking space directly outside the property.

Warm and comfortable cottage. It was obvious the Jenny had given a lot of thought into how the cottage was set up. The kitchen had all the basics needed for preparing meals. Tea, coffee and some nice biscuit and a welcome bottle of wine. The lounge was cosy and there were files of useful information about the house and the local area. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom had lots of essentials, the shower was great and lots of hot water….there was also a bath. We had taken our bikes and it was great to have a summer house to store them in. The area was really quiet. We really enjoyed our weeks stay.

A fabulous weekend at the Hayloft. Beautiful property with everything thought of, even down to toys for the dogs. Would definitely go again and would highly recommend. Thank you Karen and Andy 😀

The cottage was a credit to Rachel. The instructions for finding the cottage and checking in were easy to follow. The cottage was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Ideal location to explore the Yorkshire Moors. Would recommend the Sun Inn to relax and have a drink. Pickering is a beautiful village. and Oak Cottage is perfectly located to explore. Would highly recommend Rachel as a host and her cottage. Thank you so much x

We had a fantastic stay at David’s beautiful and unique accommodation. David was responsive to all queries and made us feel incredibly welcome. He’s clearly passionate about the space he has designed and built — it’s thoughtfully planned, exceptionally well designed, and full of character.The attention to detail throughout is outstanding. We had the best night’s sleep in the enormous, super-comfy bed, and the large walk-in shower was a joy to use. The property is equipped with everything you could possibly need (and more) for a relaxing and comfortable stay. The views from the living area and terrace are lovely. It’s an easy and scenic walk into the centre of Marsden along the canal towpath or a quiet lane, and both the Standedge Tunnel and North of England Centre for Music and Arts with its cafe are just a couple of minutes away on foot. A peaceful and relaxing place to stay. 3 nights here and we wished we had longer. The home was clean and comfortable with a nice sized kitchen and dining area. Two nice sized en-suite bedrooms with comfortable beds too!. You’re Surrounded by lovely views no matter where you sit in this home. The host Paula was welcoming, friendly and attentive. Paula offered and set up a travel cot for us prior to our arrival which was very much appreciated, especially when you have to pack so much with a little one. We all loved our weekend here and would book again!.

We have thoroughly enjoyed an all too brief, relaxing stay at Tarrs Yard. From entering the charming cottage, to leaving, one can't fail to be impressed by all that Lizzie and Andy have so stylishly created. The helpful, informative folder inside the cottage provides for guests' range of interests and enables visitors to capitalise on the hosts' wealth of knowledge and experience of the area. We can't wait to return and anticipate discovering more of what this area affords, whilst assured of a restful, peaceful property to daily return to. One of the best Airbnb cottages we have stayed in…recently decorated, tasteful furnishings, lovely gardens and everything we needed for our stay. It is a 30min walk into town, but is a flat walk along the old railway track so an easy stroll. We went to Beadlam Grange Cafe for breakfast which is a 5-10min stroll from the cottage too.

We had a lovely stay in Katie’s cottage. It was beautifully clean and well furnished. The bathroom was very spacious and looked newly done and the kitchen had everything we needed. It had lots of work surface and plenty of room. The beds were very comfortable. Everything was perfect. I can highly recommend the cottage.

We had a lovely peaceful stay at the Granary. The cottage was spotless and Kate was there to greet us. It was a bonus to have the local pub within walking distance and serving delicious meals. My wife and I would certainly recommend staying here.

This was our second stay at the property and it was just as brilliant as our first. Plenty to do within driving distance and a lovely local area to go walking. The property is beautiful and our 5 year old boy loved it even more than last time.
