Isle of Mull, Ormaig self-catering cottage Lochdon

NeilRating, 5 stars2 months ago
What a place to stay!! From the initial booking and super communications with Steve, we’ve enjoyed the best few days in Scotland ever!! The bothy is in the most idyllic location on Mull, but at the same time only a short drive from the ferry terminal. We were met by Steve on our arrival (earlier than expected as the cottage had been free the day before..this gave us half a day extra really!) and showed around the property…wow, wow and WOW!!! The design, the immaculate presentation, the comfiest of beds..an absolute credit to Steve who has put so much thought and effort into such a wonderful place..and the view…well, there aren’t any words!!! We were blessed with beautiful weather whilst spending our few days exploring parts of the island (the bird life is exceptional!!) but if the weather had been different, we could’ve very happily stayed in the cottage just watching the tide roll in and disappear again!! Thankyou so much for letting us stay..we’ll see you again soon!! Jill and Neil

A cosy retreat with breathtaking views, sleeps 6.

This is an amazing house with a wonderful view of the Sound of Mull. Everything felt incredibly homely. One of the best Airbnbs you can find with wonderful views of the Siubd of Mull. Very tastefully done. Loved the open plan kitchen and sitting area and the warm underfloor heating welcomed us on our return from beautiful but sometimes wet and windy walks. We can’t thank you enough for sharing your beautiful home with us!

We really enjoyed our 3 night stay in the Shepherd's Hut! Angela was a great host and was very responsive. Everything was exactly as described and was perfectly clean and tidy. The duck eggs were a big bonus - thanks! The location is very peaceful and beautiful. Conveniently close to Craignure and Tobermory. Would highly recommend to anyone considering staying!

The Wee Hut

Sarah AlexandraRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We were so blown away by our stay at the Wee Hut. The views are so dreamy, the place is overgrown with scented flowers in bloom, ponies play in the fields and they little touches such as the fresh eggs and bread made such a difference to our romantic little getaway. The fact that we could also do a yoga class and use the sauna on the Loch too was just extra special. Kate was the best yoga instructor I've had - the restorative yoga class was just what we needed. We can't wait to come back! Oh and make sure to nose around in the honesty larger - we had some amazing freshly made cinnamon buns!
A balcony extends from the building, overlooking a calm body of water. The horizon is illuminated with soft hues of sunset, while a clear sky frames the scene. The wooden railing provides a natural element to the tranquil outdoor space.

The Studio - Ballygown, Ulva Ferry, Isle of Mull

KevinRating, 5 stars1 day ago
Stunning location with everything you need. The kitchen and bed spaces are compact but the living space looking out on the Isle of Ulva is superb! A visit to The Boathouse on Ulva is an absolute must and we also enjoyed a meal at Am Birlinn. (The fresh bread available from the house opposite is also delicious). EV charging was fine (in early June) Thank you Mary for an excellent stay in The Studo.
Two modern pods are situated outdoors, featuring expansive glass entrances that reflect the surrounding landscape. A firepit is situated in the center, complemented by two stylish outdoor chairs. The setting offers a serene view with a backdrop of softly lit sky and distant hills.

Pods at Port nan Gael Campsite

MariaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Location wise, this place is unbeatable! Cosy wee pod, spotlessly clean. We stayed as a couple only, and although there are extra beds to accommodate another two people I do feel that the pod would have felt a little cramped with the extra bodies. However as there were only the two of us it was just perfect. The full glass front is an absolute treat with a clear view of the loch, our highlight was being able to lie in bed with a glass of wine and watch the sun set behind the hills, or waking up early and watching the local wildlife on the loch without setting a foot out of bed! 10/10 on location! I recommend taking some binoculars as there are plenty of critters to spot from the pod. Overall a wonderful stay.

The Cabin, Achnadrish House

Sarah-JoRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Visiting to take part in the Isle of Mull Sportive, the Cabin was perfectly located and provided everything we needed for our stay - tranquil setting, good warm and cosy space, well-equipped kitchen, space for our bikes, bathroom that gave us the option of a long soak in the bath if needed after our ride (we didn't but the water was really nice and hot for our showers). Eugenie sent a very informative and helpful welcome pack ahead of our stay providing clear directions and lots of great recommendations - we couldn't get in to eat at Croft 3 but we did drop in for coffee and cake and would thoroughly recommend. Thanks to Tomo, Eugenie's partner, for the encouragement to eat at Am Birlinn on our last evening - lovely space and staff and the food was delicious! More thanks to Tomo - for equipping us with hose, bucket, joinery advice and his patience! :D

What an incredible place! We were blown away by Tricia’s attention to detail, it honestly had everything you could ever need. The space was immaculate and cozy, and the garden was stunning. We were only there for two nights but came away wishing we’d stayed for longer, I’m sure we’ll be back! One of the best holiday lets we’ve ever stayed at, Tricia is an excellent host!
