The Bunk House

The Bunk House is an 8 by 12 foot shed with 3-4 bunks. There is a twin sized bed across the back, a bunk sized bed on each side and a plank to pull out to accommodate a fourth person in the middle over the walkway. With this adaptation, you have an 8 by 10 foot bed. We provide foam mattresses, sheets, blankets and pillows. There is an air-conditioner and a heater. Bucket toilet behind the bunkhouse. Fire ring available. No pets. The water is from our deep well - tested, certified and delicious!

This stay was one of the better experiences I’ve had with Airbnb. Anne wrote us a personalized card and left us farm fresh eggs and locally baked cookies. Amazing! The place was so quiet and peaceful. I would stay here again! The only complaint I have is that we were unable to adjust the temperature in the space. However, Anne provided a fan, and it was cool enough outside to open the window.

Absolutely phenomenal stay! I have diagnosed OCD, so cleanliness is a huge deal for me—and this place exceeded every expectation. It was spotless from top to bottom, and I truly felt at ease the entire time. The setup was adorable, the rooms were spacious and cozy, and the attention to detail was unmatched. The outdoor area was something out of a dream—patios unlike anything I’ve seen before. We were lucky enough to spot hummingbirds, a fox, and even got to hang out with the sweetest chickens and roosters who actually love being fed and chatted with! More than just the space, the whole vibe felt welcoming and thoughtful. You can tell the hosts really care. I’ll absolutely be back—not only because of the cleanliness, but because it felt like a little peaceful slice of home.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 10 STARS! Nathan’s home was absolutely perfect! From the moment we arrived, everything was clean, cozy, and welcoming. The space was exactly as described—beautifully decorated, thoughtfully stocked, and super comfortable. You can tell Nathan really cares about his guests; every detail was well thought out, from the soft linens to the little touches that made us feel right at home. Communication was smooth and responsive the entire time. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would 100% book again. Highly recommend!

This is a really nice apartment. The first thing you notice are the very tall ceilings and the four giant windows which let in a lot of natural light. Great design throughout. There is a convenience store a block away that has everything you need, and a great coffee shop a 10 minute walk away. Easy access to the local highway. It’s a very quaint historic area.
