Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Rochester

This listing was all we could’ve asked for and more! We booked Toby’s lake house for a last minute MDW getaway and it exceeded our expectations. The property is steps away from beautiful Conesus Lake. There is so much natural light in the living room — drinking coffee in the morning looking out onto the lake was a dream. We were having difficulty figuring out how to use the grill and Toby responded right away. Can’t say enough good things about our stay! Would love to come back again.

What can I say? The Hilltop Chalet was beautiful! It was private, clean and had everything you could dream of. David and Karen had the best tips and we very responsive. So close to Canandaigua and Naples. Will definitely be back!

The home and host were fantastic, and the community was warm and welcoming. The surrounding area was quiet, scenic, and filled with courteous people, exactly what we had hoped for. The wildlife was a wonderful surprise. The abundance of animals, combined with the nearby lake, created memorable and diverse experiences for our kids. Couldn’t have been better. Thank you!

The stay at Ferryland was amazing! Ontario lake is such a powerful and beautiful place to be. Jan made the stay possible, easy and comfortable. Will highly consider vacationing again here!!!

Hawks Landing is a beautiful, serene location nestled alongside Lake Canandaigua that is nothing short of breathtaking. We spent 4 days here and loved every moment of it. The property is well-maintained and offers plentiful amenities and privacy. Tom is a wonderful and generous host, and his two furry co-hosts were just as welcoming! We highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking to enjoy a vacation or even just a weekend to the country any time of year, and would definitely consider going back to experience it all anew.

We had a wonderful, relaxing, and beautiful stay at Miranda's and Brian's place! Also, they were both so responsive and kind as hosts. We'd definitely be happy go back sometime soon!

This sweet little cottage is in a quiet and beautiful neighborhood and the house has everything you need. Watching the sunset over Lake Ontario was a delight and proximity to several beaches (though it was too cold to swim for us!) was a great bonus. Natasha was ultra responsive to two absolute non urgent questions I had and it made our stay that much easier and more enjoyable. So family friendly - we have a 10 & 3 year old. Hot tub was a great way for us parents to unwind at the end of the day!

We had a great stay at Amy’s place while in town for my son’s sporting event. The house is large, very clean, and stocked with everything you could possibly need—it made traveling with kids so much easier. Amy was a fantastic host—she sent over restaurant recommendations before we arrived and even mailed back a few clothes we accidentally left in the dryer (so appreciated!). The location was super convenient—close to stores (Target, Dicks Sporting Goods, Wegmans), restaurants, Lake Ontario (2 miles away), and only about 20 minutes to Rochester. We visited in early April, so we didn’t get to enjoy the pool or outdoor space, but it all looked lovely.

I loved this place so much! We are definitely going back at some point in the summer for that pool! But everything was perfect and everyone had a great time! The house was so cozy but huge! It felt like we’ve been there forever when we got there, the hot tub was so relaxing especially with the view! I love this place and the driveway isn’t that bad but you will definitely need 4WD! It’s like a fun slow roller coaster lol😂! We also saw a group of turkeys every morning and they were so cute!

We were looking for a quiet place to enjoy a weekend with friends while we attended an outdoor concert at Wayne County Fairgrounds. This definitely hit the mark! Four adults and dog were very comfortable. Spacious bedrooms, great kitchen so we didn’t have to eat out, and comfortable house overall. Even saw two deer and a fox in the backyard one night! Highly recommend because Kenneth was more than accommodating.

Beautiful, spacious house with plenty of household items provided like pool towels, Kcups, and plenty of trash bags, paper towels, etc. Pool, hot tub, and game room kept kids and adults entertained the entire week. WiFi/cell service isn’t great, especially on the pool deck/porch/patio areas which wasn’t necessarily a bad thing to disconnect during our stay. TV in upstairs master bedroom didn’t work enough to actually watch it (turns on but freezes repeatedly, remote worked off and on etc) We definitely WANT to book this house again but would need confirmation that the A/C is more dependable/consistent as the downstairs bedroom/bathroom were FREEZING COLD while all the other bedrooms were hot and uncomfortable (and the weather was only in the 60s/70s during our stay). Vibe was very responsive and came to assist with pool the next day when there was a concern. Staff was very friendly and proactive overall. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We (my parents, siblings, and nieces and nephews) had an incredible time on this wonderful property. It's far enough from other homes that we didn't have to worry about the kids being too loud as they played together outside, but also close enough to major stores and other attractions that it doesn't feel too much in the middle of nowhere. This was the prefect setting for our large family to all be together without being on top of each other. The kids ping-ponged between the pool and the barn each day, and headed up to the game room for a little wii or tv at night. The pool house and main house are conveniently just steps from each other, so we didn't feel too divided, but it was also nice to have two separate spaces to accommodate different dietary restrictions and nap schedules. Highlights of the stay: several of the younger kids learned to swim in the lovely pool's big shallow end, and when the owners' 13-year-old facilitated a visit for the kids with her adorable ducks and chicks.

This is my families second stay at Bree’s beautiful home for the Christmas week. The family gathers from all different cities and such a perfect spot to come together ! Cozy and spacious , kitchen is well supplied and the views are spectacular. We were so happy to have a white Christmas this year and 6 fox sightings in the yard!! Highly recommend!! Haven’t stayed for the summer season but I can imagine with the pool and hot tub and lake use opportunities it would amazing. Thanks again Tom

Magnificent homestead built in 1855. Beautiful grounds. Loved the animals in the barn. Lovely tennis court and swimming pool. Comfy beds! Martha was totally responsive and helpful. Peaceful and relaxing stay!😊

We were there for our granddaughters graduation from RIT. Casey's home was ideal and she went out of her way to be flexible and welcoming. An excellent host. Thank you.

Absolutely beautiful property and absolutely STELLAR host ! Super responsive when we had questions and was more than accommodating with our service dog! Big beautiful yard and clean comfy home ! 10/10 inside and out with wonderful a amenities! Super quiet neighborhood and feels extremely safe! Board games available and a TV in every room!! We would absolutely book again for our next trip! Thank you guys so much !

Great little house right near the airport and UR. Stocked with the basics one would need and Sara was a responsive and helpful host. I would recommend staying.

We really enjoyed our stay. The location is very good as it has a really good view, quiet, and close to lots of state parks. The room is cozy and spacious. Kitchen has all the utensils. Angela is really helpful before and during our stay. Definitely recommend!

Jessica is the sweetest! Such an incredible host that made my family’s stay for graduation weekend incredible. We loved coming back and taking walks around the quiet neighborhood, and enjoyed the lovely space. Would highly recommend this place!

Great stay while visiting our son at RIT. Our pups loved the fenced in backyard and a great and quiet neighborhood for walking. Bathrooms were especially extra clean which means a lot to us while traveling. We spent lots of time in the nice sunroom with comfy couches and privacy. Jason was very communicative. We felt right at home!

Stayed here with a group of 5 and it was good for us. Loved being close enough to walk to lots of restaurants/cafes and in such a leafy, porch-filled neighborhood. We spent a lot of time (in June) on the porch and loved it.

The house was exactly as promised. It was very comfortable and everything worked. In fact, a few extra amenities in the house made it feel extra special. The only bummer was that we were only booked there for one night. We wish we could have stayed longer! But to put it simply, out of a party of six adults and one kid, all seven of us gave Roman's house two very big thumbs up. And if I needed to reach him he got back to me within just a few minutes. Not to mention the value for price paid was exceptional. Thank you, Roman!!

Great spot to stay right by the beach. Beautiful backyard to relax in. And the pups really enjoyed the space to run and play. Camille was very kind and attentive. Would definitely stay again!
