Family-friendly vacation rentals in Rochesson

Gerard's place is really nicely secluded in the middle of nature. The house is very clean and really well equipped with everything you need - all kitchen utensils and kitchen appliances, dish soap, spices, etc. Wood for the hot tub and gas for the grill was provided. The house is spread over three levels and the 5 bedrooms are on the second and third floors. Gerard lives next door, yet you have your privacy and help when you need it. We felt very comfortable with 12 (5 adults and 7 children) and also had enough space - thank you!

Jérôme and his wife were very friendly and responsive to our requests. The space was clean. and great location for the activities we wanted to do. We had a great time in Rochesson. Thanks to them. Laurent

We had a very nice, and above all relaxing The accommodation offered stunning views and the location is extremely quiet - perfect for switching off. There are also some very nice hiking trails nearby, which was ideal for us. Leopold was also very courteous and helpful to us. In addition, he had sweetened our stay with really nice little gestures. I highly recommend this place 😊

We were 6 people in this beautiful accommodation which has all the assets for a pleasant trip as we had! Located next to Lake Gerardmer, very clean, the description is perfect and in addition the owners are friendly. We recommend 100%.

Great accommodation. We came with friends and it was very nice. Be careful, however, if you are bringing children, the living area is on the second floor and the garden on the first floor. I had a great stay in this accommodation in the heart of the Vosges! The setting is beautiful, the accommodation is as described, very clean, well-equipped. Special mention for the warm welcome of the hotel. I particularly enjoyed the jacuzzi and the view, as well as the many hikes nearby. a real slice of paradise, I will come back without hesitation!

We had some wonderful serene and sunny days in Pierre and Katia's mountain cabin. Incredible flexible and friendly hosts and we felt right at home from the first second. Beautiful location and spacious cabin. We enjoyed the nearby hiking trail, the outdoor bath and daily cuddles with Snow (the dog) whom our own dog also found a friend in. Al fresco dining everyday. We had daily excursions to nearby Alsace attractions with advice from Pierre and the children are still talking about the welcome bowl with candy (and Snow of course! ;) Cabin is warmly recommended

Great cottage with a great view! Comfortable bedding, great amenities (jacuzzi, raclette machines, coffee bean machine, etc.) Only one minor downside (not much) the wood of the sauna still releases sap which can stain towels or clothes. We loved our stay here and would highly recommend it!

From booking to checkout, Nathalie was responsive. Very nice accommodation, well-equipped, very clean and tastefully decorated. Nathalie is very flexible for check-in and checkout. Everything was perfect from start to finish. We'd love to come back.

Had a really nice time in the cottage. Very quiet location and within walking distance to the bakery and the store. We brought our dog. He was immediately welcomed! We could use the quiet terrace, but also the garden. Nice walks in the region and in the Vosges in general. A very quiet area to relax and unwind! The property is as described. Very cozy and practically furnished. Everything is there!

The stay at Thierry's was short but nice:) The truly fully equipped kitchen should be emphasized. There was everything you needed for cooking. Everything was tidy and well stowed but still easy to find. The check-in instructions and house rules were also clear and easy to find. The surroundings are very quiet and you can directly access beautiful hiking trails. The stream behind the house offers a beautiful sound backdrop and you can always see the countryside from the windows. We were confused upon arrival that the accommodation is an extension to another building and not a stand-alone cottage as we expected. We didn't read that from the description before. We would also have liked individual duvets with covers. However, the pillows were very comfortable and we slept well overall. The communication with Thierry was very friendly, fast and reliable:) a dear host who is always there! Thank you!

Had a nice stay, responded quickly to questions and very comfortable house with good shower and beds! After 4 days the gas was gone, this was resolved very quickly. Relax by the pool. Kitchen utensils could be of better quality (knives and frying pan), for the rest absolutely everything is present. I've been there with a buddy for a cycling holiday, this was really perfect for that! Would definitely recommend it!

Tastefully renovated farm, a rustic and green setting, we had a lovely weekend with our friends. The 2 small children enjoyed the swings and the slide, the dogs were able to play in the garden (there were barriers available to block direct access to the road, but be careful however the garden is not fenced at the back). Access to this garden space is by exiting the house, but we passed a lot of things through the kitchen window, which is very convenient! The village is quiet, beautiful walks nearby. We had access to the family pool at Marie's house, 5-10 min walk. We found everything we needed in the house, which was clean and tidy when we arrived. Thank you for hosting us!

nice accommodation, small shower, beautiful location, unfortunately there were many wasps by the pool, so swimming could not be completely relaxing, but glad that the pool was present. Because Frédéric was not present all the time, I had to communicate with his dear wife but she spoke little English and I no French so that was a bit difficult and unfortunate since she is a very nice Host. In short, a good stay in a beautiful area!

Quiet and peaceful environment, we had a lovely time with friends. Many thanks to Magali for her responsiveness when needed and her clear instructions when we arrived and of course the beautiful accommodation offered!

We spent a wonderful few days in Russel’s tastefully renovated barn. The house is very cosy, we felt at home right away. There are two bedrooms with double beds, each with a bathroom, and a convertible bed in the living room for kids. Kitchen is well stocked and we even received a nice bottle of wine and milk from the host. It was pretty warm during our stay so the kids even enjoyed the pool! It’s a perfect place to rest before and after exploring the area, without being in the midst of the hustle and bustle of other more touristy villages, yet being close to everything.

We came for a wedding at my Argentin farm. We took the opportunity to visit the area. The accommodation is clean. There is a beautiful, very practical kitchen. The volume of the living room is lovely. the big positive point is the exterior with a pool and the Liepvrette that passes below. We took advantage of the local shops: pharmacy, Carrefour and hairdresser (Les Ciseaux d'Argent). The proximity is perfect for visiting the Upper Koenigsburg and the villages of the Wine Route. Jérôme and Daniel were very nice and available to make our stay in their area go smoothly. Thank you again!

Beautiful, quiet accommodation on the edge of the forest – pure nature! The accommodation is fantastically quiet right on the edge of the forest. Florent has built a platform with two deckchairs in the forest next to a small stream – ideal for relaxing and forest bathing. For our children, he spontaneously hung up two hammocks, which was a real highlight! You can hike directly behind the house or walk across the street to Bilstein Castle (about 1 hour). Excursions to Colmar, Haut-Koenigsbourg or the Vosges are also easily possible – all within 30 minutes. Florent is a very attentive and warm host. We felt completely comfortable and would be happy to come back!

The place was great! The kitchen is quite new and optimally equipped for the number of people (even 2 ovens). The bedrooms are nothing special, but you usually don't spend much time there anyway. Earlier check-in would have been good for us. You already pay for the day, but the accommodation is only available from the late afternoon (this was already known at the time of booking. You just have to decide if that's okay for you). Communication with the host (who lives next door) was very straightforward and fast! He even helped us with baking paper and got us a parasol on request - thank you again for that! :) In front of the house were 2 mountains with stones or earth, probably from the pool construction, we did not find this disturbing. The pool is now finished (prettier than in the pictures). The host said that further renovations/additions are planned (e.g. outdoor shower and much more) We would definitely come again! :)
