The house is located on the road that leads to the Venice refuge, where there is access to the summit of Mount Pelmo, standing at 3,168 meters. From here, on clear days, you can see the Venice lagoon. For those who cannot climb, there is a trail that goes around the mountain.

In the winter it is well positioned for the famous Dolomite Super Ski area, offering hundreds of kilometres of skiing.
