House vacation rentals in River Dart

The lodge was very clean and had everything we needed. The location is great for exploring the whole area. Helen was flexible with arrival and check in which made the holiday less stressful with small kids! Brixham is a lovely town to stay. The site would benefit from the new clubhouse pool & bar which was opening imminently, which we missed.

Mandys place was just amazing. Everything you need is provided and more. Having the pool for the kids was a winner. The Steam train coming past was really good felt like the Railway Children waving all the time. Great recommendations for eating out. Thank you looking at booking again.

Clean, cozy and well equipped (kitchen, etc). Peaceful location and the extra amenities were great! (Swimming pool, etc). We would stay again.

Lovely place and we had a great stay. Only downside was that the pool wasn’t heated, Maria let us know a few days beforehand that there was an issue with the boiler.

My friends and I stayed at Louise’s place for a long weekend, and it was a wonderful time. The house fit 11 adults no problem. Lovely and quiet, the pool was so much fun, and we made good use of the fire pit to have s’mores. Harry gave us a tour of the dairy farm & beehives, & let us see the calves which was lovely. Louise was a fab host, very good communicator and always at hand if needed. Great stay overall!

Great home with outstanding facilities and location. Pool is a highlight, and hot tub right next to it which is great for when the kids get chilly! Fantastic playroom for them too. Boiling water tap for grown ups teas and coffee with good indoor and outdoor seating areas. Fun for all the family!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Peartree. Selina is a warm, gracious host and she gave us lots of useful tips in restaurants and sights to explore. The house is newly renovated, spotless and set in a breathtaking field of oats. We highly recommend this home and host. We'll definitely be back with family and friends.

We really enjoyed our stay . the apartment was really lovely. The beds were very comfortable .It had amazing views of Torquay with lots to do . will definitely stay again in the future .

We had a wonderful stay at Emily's place. It was the perfect location right in town and had everything we needed. Emily was wonderful to communicate with, the whole trip went very smoothly.

We adored the house and couldn’t have asked for a better place for us a long weekend. The view is incredible and Annie and Josh were very responsive, ensuring we were always comfortable

We had a great time at the cottage, the river and gardens are absolutely beautiful! Denise was a great host full of information about activities, where to eat etc. There is a pub only a few minutes walk away where we had the best steak pie. The cottage was cosy, comfortable and had everything you needed with lots of added quirky and interesting touches. The noise from the road can be intrusive but we accepted it for what it was and enjoyed our stay in the beautiful country side.

This lodge is absolutely perfect. Everything was within 10-40 mins drive that we intended to do during our stay here. The lodge was in great condition on our arrival. Julie and her family were amazing with communication and super friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay here. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you again Julie.

We had a fantastic few days. The Loft is a lovely place so quiet and the owners have thought of absolutely everything. It was great for us and our 16 year old who loved having his own space in the games room. I think it’s the best Airbnb we have stayed in.

Nicki's property is a real gem of a place - the interior was stunning and very inviting. Totnes is a great little town to get to know with some lovely independent restaurants and we found some great walking guides within the property which gave us some memorable days out with the dogs. Not many properties make two dogs so welcome, but Nicki's did and the safe enclosed garden was an appreciated feature for us. Thank you Nicki - you helped give us a great week away.

The place is even better than the pics. Bed really comfy and the space is fab and really nicely decorated as well. We come to Kingsbridge every year and this is 100% the best place we’ve stayed in. 100% will be back!

My partner and our 2 young daughters had a lovely stay here. It was a good base to explore the local surroundings. There is no parking outside and we had to park over the main road but the host was helpful in giving us this information before hand. The sofa bed was comfy and we had all the amenities we needed

The pictures don't do justice to the property. Is better than it looks. Spacious rooms, confy beds , cosy furniture, friendly host ...all reviews are spot-on . Is not possible to give more than 5 stars ✨️. There is remote controlled canopy which we used it (was warm but raining for 30 min )and enjoyed the whole afternoon without issues and I am underlining that because U can see it in the picture but there is a table with umbrella and won't pay attention to the rest(when got there found upgraded table ,bigger, square with gravity chairs) No words...we felt straight away like home. Thank you Stephen.

We stayed in Candy's farmhouse annex for a long weekend with my parents-in-law, whilst down for a family event in Totnes. The location was perfect - such a short drive to Totnes, whilst being surrounded by wonderful countryside! We were given a great tour on arrival, of the annex and the huge garden, by Candy's husband Phil. The children felt immediately at home, and very much enjoyed exploring the garden and bouncing on the trampoline. The annex itself was spacious and perfectly comfortable, with plenty of hot water for great showers and heating so that we never felt cold, even when the evenings were chilly. We had a wonderful time playing boardgames in the evenings, and Phil was kind enough to bring over some extra games and comic books for the children, which they greatly appreciated. We had a really lovely time and would definitely stay there again in future! Thank you, Candy and Phil, for making us feel so welcome in your lovely home!

Luke is a fabulous host! Not only is the cottage idyllic, peaceful and charming, but Luke left us some goodies for our arrival. These included a bottle of fizz, some delicious bread and eggs from the chickens he keeps on his small holding. There was loads of good recommendations for walks and activities within the cottage and Luke trod a wonderful balance between giving us our space and being there to offer advice and recommendations. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend the cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in the countryside!

The cottage is lovely, in a really wonderful community. The beds were comfy with fantastic linen, kitchen had everything we needed, beautiful views. A real home from home. We had a lovely stay and were very comfortable. Easy to get out and about, you do need a car though!

I had a perfect stay at Francesa’s apartment. The apartment is very clean, comfortable and stylish. It has everything you need for your holiday and is so convenient if you are arriving by train. There is a very pretty woodland/riverside walk just next to the apartment. Totnes is lovely, lots of shops and cafes and the beautiful historic buildings. The area is easy to get around by train or bus. Francesca and Michael are very kind hosts and I hope to be able to stay again.
