Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Ridgewood, Queens

The apartment was very beautiful, comfortable, clean, and had all the amenities. Two separate bedrooms with very comfortable beds, a nice bathroom, a large and comfortable kitchen, a nice living room, and a very beautiful little veranda. The host was always prompt in communication and assisted us with anything we asked for. The area was very beautiful, with plenty of bus options to take you downtown Manhattan (about 1 hour), but this was not a problem as the public transport is very frequent. After a tiring day in New York, it was a pleasure to return to this beautiful and comfortable home and relax. We will definitely choose it again for our stay in New York.

Jean was a wonderful host & was even flexible with our late check out request. The place was very clean and lots of amenities. The neighbourhood is a nice & beautiful area. Just a heads up travel to the Manhattan is always going to be an hour so keep that in mind when booking due to its location. We were happy with the place!

This was a great place to stay if you don’t mind 45 min subway to Manhattan which we didn’t care because we went all city and didn’t need to go to Manhattan everyday because there is more to New York than Manhattan! Thankyou once again Amalia!

I would definitely recommend staying here. I was celebrating my birthday & Morlisa surprised me with a bottle of Rose☺️(I’m 24). If you want somewhere to stay that’s comfortable & less chaotic than staying in a hotel within Manhattan, this is the place. Close to the JFK airport too.

Jency's place is probably the best you can get if you are looking for/only financially able to rent a room in someone's house and not a whole unit to yourself. The room was tiny (as expected) but clean, well ventilated, had a air purifier, had all amenities, and even came with plenty of snakes and access to a full kitchen and full bathroom, which during my stay I did not really have to wait on anyone else to use. I also appreciated the Jency took the extra trouble to vet me as a guest and really idiot proof the whole place, with signs everywhere telling me where I could enter, what I could do, etc, which made it very easy for me to feel as if I were in my own space and house, even though I was sharing the house with others. If every hostel situation were like this, I would imagine more people would be fine staying in such group housing settings! 10/10

We really enjoyed our stay - the unit was absolutely perfect for what we needed and acted as the perfect base for all things New York being a one minute walk from the station! Krystal was extremely friendly, responsive and helpful - would highly recommend !

The process to check in was self check in and was clear and easy to do. The place was impeccably clean and very well decorated. The items in the Airbnb were well thought out and useful, (cooking utensils, salt & pepper, coffee, etc). The location was a nice neighborhood. There was a weather issue that occurred and Shekeva was incredibly professional and immediately responsive to the situation and my concerns. I would stay here again!

Excellent home in a fabulous neighborhood! Sara was incredibly responsive and friendly throughout our stay. There wasn't any air-conditioning to ease the heat of the really hot days, but the location and cleanliness of the unit was worth the steamy moments. Also - it is very easy to find parking on this street! What an unexpected surprise!

We had a great time! Subway is a 10-minute-walk away, the neighbourhood is quiet so great for sleeping!

My mom and I had a wonderful stay at Fee’s home for a quick weekend trip to my cousin’s quinceañera. The home was exactly as described super clean, cozy, and welcoming. The price was very reasonable, and check-in was a breeze. Fee went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and taken care of. Her kind and thoughtful communication really made a difference. We truly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely book again.

Sandra’s place was one of the best Airbnbs I’ve stayed at! First of all, the bedding smelled amazing—as if everything had been freshly washed—which made sleeping so comfortable. There were plenty of pillows and blankets, so whenever it felt a little chilly, I could just add an extra blanket and stay cozy. The place had all the amenities I needed (there was even an iron, though I didn’t get a chance to use it). Sandra always responded quickly and kindly whenever I messaged her, which made the trip even more enjoyable. During my stay, I visited Manhattan, Queens, and Brooklyn, and the location was perfect for getting around. Personally, I have nothing to complain about—it was a flawless stay. I’d definitely come back next time I’m in New York! Big thanks to the host for making an already exciting trip even more special!

Great place! Spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with cozy beds and nice showers. The apartment has everything you need and is just a 5-minute walk from the subway, which made getting around super easy. Highly recommend! Great host!

Was a perfect, comfortable stay with an amazingly friendly host, the house was clean and smelt very good upon arrival. Very close to many bus stops and airport as well, would DEFINITELY rebook in the future!

The size of the apartment was perfect for our family. It was clean and stocked with everything needed. We found the location to be very convenient. Peter and Atsuko were responsive, friendly and super helpful when our flight left several hours after check out. I’m so glad we chose this place for our recent trip.

Great place to stay while visiting family. As I grew up in the area I know my way around, but easy to get around for anyone! The bay is a beautiful site when you walk up the block. There are many places to visit in walking distance as well as plenty of transportation choices withing walking distance. Plenty of places to eat as well, with many different choices of food. Nice private quite apartment, I will be staying again in the Fall.

Benjamin was a great host and very responsive. We have 3 dogs that travel with us and sometimes finding an Airbnb can be difficult. With a dedicated parking spot and grassy fenced in back yard this Airbnb was perfect for us. The space looked just like the photos, clean and everything we needed. The location was great, a quick walk to the light rail and we were able to get over to the city quickly. Will definitely be looking to book here again when we travel this way in the future.

I felt home at once in this beautifully furnished place. Antony was friendly and welcoming, and I could not have been more comfortable. The neighborhood felt very safe and was not noisy, and I found everything I needed within a short walk. I would not hesitate to stay here again, and although 6 stars is not a rating, I was more comfortable here than at many other places I have rated with a 5. I recommend it without reservation.

Our family of 4 stayed 5 nights and really enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect. We were able to walk to the path in 5 min to connect to the NYC subways. On the walk, you pass multiple cafes and coffee shops. Great craft beer and wine shop on the corner. Pizza shop, Basile’s, right next to the PATH is perfect for a late night snack. The beds were comfortable, and even though there was some street noise heard at night, a sound machine was provided to help lull you to sleep. The only thing you have to be aware of is the unit is located on the 2nd floor, and you have to go up a narrow set of stairs which can be hard with multiple suitcases. Other than that, a comfortable and convenient place to stay with everything within walking distance!

The view of the NYC skyline was exactly as promised in the pictures. Host was super responsive. The place was within walking distance to bus and ferry to NYC.

Great apartment in a nice area of Hoboken. We used this as a base for our trip to New York so did not spend much time at the place but the location is great, you are close to the station (10-15 minute walk) which takes you to Manhattan Midtown or the Financial District at World Trade Centre. The area in Hoboken is also very nice, you are nearby the Hoboken waterfront which offers great views of Manhattan and an opportunity to slow down from fast pace of Manhattan. Further you are next to Washington Street, which has lots of restaurants and bars, we particularly enjoyed starting the day with Bagels on the Hudson. The apartment itself is spacious, clean and had everything we needed. AJ was always quick to respond for any questions we had. Overall, would recommend.
