Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Richmond

This house was perfect for our stay. It was a family home so had great amenities for me, my husband and our three children. The size meant we had rooms for everyone and the playroom was much appreciated. The local neighborhood was easily walkable and a short walk from beautiful Richmond and 20 minutes from Richmond Park. Excellent hosts, great communication, would recommend for any family planning a trip to Richmond.

We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this beautiful home! The house is on a pretty street in the quiet, leafy area of Barnes. It's an easy & quick to walk to the overground station and to all the lovely cafes and restaurants nearby. The garden is pretty and a great retreat for a wine or breakfast & feels quite private - a rarity in London. The house has been refurbished & designed beautifully, it's a treat to return to after a day out in London. Sarah has thought of everything you may need & can even organise a parking permit if you have a car - we got a space right outside each day. If you're thinking about a stay around SW London I'd choose this one. We look forward to staying again.

What a gorgeous location! Right on the Thames, absolutely lovely views including swans, across from a park like setting there were numerous places inside and out to relax and soak it all in. It was fun to see the rowing teams going by and the people enjoying a boat outing. The beds weee very comfortable! The decor was charming - we felt so at home! Thank you for a great stay!

This residence was something very special. The host has created one of the best quality residential experiences in Kingston. The layout of the apartment was brilliant. Everything was spotless. The shower and bathroom were well stocked with everything I needed. The kitchen was supplied with high grade cooking facilities & every utensil required for a very comfortable stay. A convenient location, 10 mins walk from the station. This was a clean, quiet and peaceful street with free parking and lots of pleasant parks nearby.

Very cozy and comfortable home with an amazing yard, close to restaurants, public transportation, and green spaces. Hosts are wonderful as well. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

What a find! Staying here felt like we were in a quiet country village. The area is very peaceful, with no night time noise at all. Right by Marble Hill park and a stones throw to the river. The cottage is well equipped with everything you might need and helpful supply of basics like oil and seasoning, tea and coffee. The outside space was a great bonus. Freddie was an excellent host who helped with any questions promptly. Highlights were boating on the Thames at Richmond landings, a boat trip to Hampton Court Palace, hiring bikes to explore the river towpath, a short train ride into London to the museums (district line) and an evening swim at Hampton Lido.

We had a wonderful stay at Tony’s place, which is just a 15-minute walk from Richmond (the river Thames) . While we had originally hoped to stay in Richmond itself, this property turned out to be an excellent alternative. It’s very close by and the house is spacious—especially by UK standards. We were a group of four, but the space could comfortably accommodate six adults. The house was clean, and Tony was highly responsive throughout our stay. We would gladly stay there again. I also recommend exploring the surrounding area—once you get closer to the river, there are some beautiful walking spots. St. Margarets train station is a 12-minute walk away, and Richmond Underground station is about a 30-minute walk. The only drawback is that the house has just one bathroom, though this is quite common for homes in the UK.

Helena is a most accommodating host, generously welcoming you to her home. The location is accessible to public transportation with bus & train options for getting into London or areas west of the city. Helena very kindly drove us to the airport, which was greatly appreciated.

We loved our time at Phil's apartment and our highlight was having a beer on the terrace after a day of exploring Kew Gardens 😁 It was as described, very comfortable and had everything you may need to cook a full meal. The bed was very comfortable and the linen good quality. We booked the apartment for it's proximity to Kew Gardens but it's well served by bus and the Elizabeth line into central London. Philip's communication before, during and after our stay was excellent and found him very friendly with an excellent sense of humour. We would definitely stay here again 😁

Very happy with our stay. Bed was very comfortable and town is quite peaceful. Very walkable and a train ride from the city. Extremely close to Richmond for the Ted Lasso fans.

Great location in a very safe, quiet, and walkable community. Less than 15 minutes to amenities: restaurants, transportation, groceries, pubs, coffee shops, bakeries, parks… The host is helpful and friendly, and was very responsive to ensure our stay made for a great holiday. The unit itself was spotlessly clean when we arrived and includes everything needed for a short or longer term stay. The bathroom, kitchen, etc. are all modern, with high-end appointments. We look forward to a return visit.

A lovely apartment with bundles of character in a brilliant location next to Putney Heath. Feels very quiet yet everything close by. The Telegraph pub a short walk away was lovely. Laura was so kind and welcoming and even left out little baby books for us. thank you so much

Second time we have stayed at The Coach House and great experience both times. Really interesting conversion in a good location for access to central London. Super comfy bed and all facilities needed. Virginia was really helpful and flexible around our booking requirements.

Location is Everything! I loved the area, the flat is quite nice, very clean, has everything around. We are a Family with kids and found this place amazing and perfect for our stay! Loved the bath for the kiddos😁 Highly recommended- They are friendly and responsive when we had questions

Lovely apartment in great location. Only two minutes walk to the Thames towpath which takes you to Kew Gardens and Kew Bridge one way and Barnes Bridge the other. Very peaceful surroundings although it is sometimes on the Heathrow flight path but has secondary glazing. Easy access to Central London via Kew Gardens station or fast train from Richmond to Waterloo. All the amenities you require and Maryclare is a friendly and informative host.

Our second stay at Deborah's and even better than we remembered. There is everything you need and Deborah is very quick to respond to any questions. It's an easy 5 minute walk to the centre of Kingston and 2 minutes to the Thames and parking on the drive is a real bonus. The bathroom is well equipped and the large bedroom has a very comfortable bed. The sitting room has a comfy settee and dining table. The flat is airy because of all the opening windows and has shutters and ceiling fans to keep it cool. I can thoroughly recommend.

Great place-convenient & comfortable. The flat was under the approach to Heathrow during our stay but ear plugs at night easily solved that so it was not an issue for us. Would stay there again without hesitation.

First, for some credibility: I have been to Europe almost 250 times, staying in a wide range of accommodations, from five-star hotels to youth hostels. So I pretty much know a good place to stay when I see it. And Ramin‘s place was absolutely sensational. A big flat, a great neighborhood, spotlessly clean, with easy access to public transport, supermarkets, and great pubs. I work in London two or three times a year, and I’m always looking for a great place to stay. This was it! Ramin is a sensational host. I could not recommend the place more!

This was the second time we are staying at Lola's apartment! We had an amazing 2-day stay at Lola's apartment! The place was spotless, well-equipped, and felt like a home away from home. The location was perfect, with easy access to everything I needed. What truly made the stay special was Lola's kindness and hospitality. She went out of her way to help in many ways. Her quick responses and attention to detail made everything seamless. I couldn't have asked for a better host. I highly recommend staying at Lola's place and would definitely come back again. This is an absolute gem of a place and location, with views right across the Darent Valley. I only wish we could have stayed longer! The place was spotless and everything had been perfectly prepared and very well thought through (from the local hand-drawn maps right down to the vast array of toiletries on offer). I can't think of a single thing to change or improve about the place. Diana was a lovely host and provided a lot of information prior to arrival. She had also found some suggestions of activities for us tailored to our interests, which was frankly above and beyond. We were very grateful and it was clear a lot of thought had been put in prior to our arrival. I could carry on for pages but in summary, we have already recommend the place to family and friends and we be pleased to offer our recommendation here too. A cosy home perfect for families or couples. Great location, clean with very comfy beds, safe area, easy to find, plenty of transport options. A very responsive host. A top location with a village type feel but easy access to central London. Would definitely stay here again.

We loved staying at Beth’s flat in Twickenham! It was so nice to come back to a quiet place after spending the day in the hustle and bustle of London. Very short walk to the train station and easy to get into the city. The flat was clean and looks just like the photos. We felt right at home and would definitely stay again.
