Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Reykjavíkurborg

The apartment was very clean and cozy and in my opinion the location is very achievable in and out if you have a car and plan to take day trips in basically any direction. Kitchen i.e. had everything(and more) you need for cooking. Comfy sofa for relaxing after a long day out. Groceryshop is like 150m away and has a good selection of items including own section for vegan stuff. We had absolutely no issues during our residence here and would definately pick this one again in the future. Highly recommended

Hildur & Arnar’s place was great! Fantastic location. The condo was clean and the beds were super comfy. The shower had great water pressure. We enjoyed our stay!

We traveled with an infant and since no one was using the place the day before, Hildur allowed us to come straight from our flight! It was so incredibly nice of them and my daughter appreciated the opportunity to catch up on some sleep. Overall, the place is beautiful, spacious, and had an incredible review. I’d recommend this AirBnb to anyone!

My family and I had an amazing stay at this Airbnb. The location was perfect—close enough to downtown, but still in a quiet, peaceful area. The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything I needed to feel comfortable. We also loved the thoughtful touches throughout the house, from cozy blankets to the coffee pots. This place made our trip even more memorable.

A beautiful place at a beautiful and peaceful location easily accessible to Reykjavik and Thingvellir onwards to Strokkur. The house is clean, and as described. Unnur is easily accessible and respond to queries promptly.

Comfortable bed, good shower, nice patio if the weather had permitted. Good location for visiting the Golden Circle and South Coast. Grocery store very close.

Great location in Reykjavik. Walkable to most attractions near central Reykjavik. Parking garage around corner but is closed from Midnight to 7am. Only had an issue with those times once. They pull down steel doors so you can’t enter or exit. You could hear the neighbors but they offered ear plugs for you to pick u on 4th floor. Also had bags of ice for your use ( this was a great luxury in Iceland)! We also used the guest washer and dryer (nice perk). Would stay again!

Sigrun’s apartment is on the outskirts of city centre and the perfect base to travel and see the sights of Iceland. Apartment is new, modern, clean and spacious. Whilst there is construction still continuing on site, it’s not disruptive and view from apartment is stunning. Very quiet and peaceful area. Lots of useful items provided and little touches left throughout the apartment which was much appreciated. Supermarket 20 mins walk and cinema/bowling complex nearby too. Sigrún was a great communicator and made the check-in very easy. Highly recommend. Thanks again Sigrun! 😁

The place was very close to the city center and was an amazing stay. It is also very close to the buses and pick up shuttles as well!. It felt very roomy and cozy even throughout the windy and rairainy weather.

We booked this location and were not able to come on time bc of a flight delay. Lea kindly offered to stay a day longer (unfortunately we couldn’t). The b&b is located very close to a tankstation of you have a rental car. The car Satsu is very kind and will come for cuddles (once he is accommodated to you). Everything we needed was in the apartment. The kitchen is very big and we could make diner. The bed is very comfy. I recommend this b&b. We would come this b&b.

Home in Reykjavík was perfect - great location with parking , great kitchen, bathroom, and super comfortable bed - I loved it. Prior to arrival Thordis sent me a number of messages which included details on the apartment and its use, and information about sites of interest in the Reykjavik environs. My husband and I had a great stay here. The place was very comfortable and we appreciated having a washer and a well equipped kitchen. Being close to grocery stores was great and the area is very walkable. We did rent a car to go exploring and was able to park right in front of the airbnb. My favourite was the view of the mountain from the window! Thanks for a great stay :)

Ottar’s apartment was perfect for my stay - I was able to prepare some meals there and not have to dine out all the time. A grocery store is a short walk and finding parking was easy. The apartment is clean and in a quiet neighborhood, which made for a pleasant stay. Óttar was flexible on check-in time and was quick to respond to my questions. A good host and a comfortable, conveniently located apartment!

Welcoming and cosy place, as soon as we arrived we found everything very clean and tidy, kitchen equipped with everything you need to prepare something to eat, very clean bathroom, room equipped with Smart TV and vacuum cleaner. The owner of the house is always available for any eventuality. If I were to return to Iceland I would gladly book another stay with him.

It’s kindof fun figuring out which building it was in a foreign country and city you have never been to. We absolutely enjoyed every minute of our stay. Great location with plenty to do within a short 5 or 10 minute walk. Julia responded to a message within 2 or 3 minutes while we were there. A person just couldn’t be a better host. Apartment was great, host was fantastic! Thank you sir much!

The Airbnb was easily accessible and well equipped with washing machine, dryer and fully equipped kitchen. There was also a designated parking spot for your vehicle. Magnus was responsive and extremely helpful in answering any queries. Would recommend this place

I loved living in this house. I spent two weeks on a work trip there and it was perfect for that occasion. The ocean is litterally two minutes away, the garden outside the windows is lush and available, and the location is just great. Very charming house with a warm atmosphere. Helgi and his dog were amazing hosts, very helpful and generous, which made the experience just amazing.
