Asta was so helpful with local recommendations, and her house was clean welcoming. We had everything we needed right at our fingertips. The sauna and hot tub were great for relaxing. The location was perfectly central for exploring the Reykjavik peninsula.

Beautiful home to stay in if you're visiting Iceland! The house is in a really quiet location with stunning mountain views, but still super well connected to Reykjavik. Overall, the location is brilliant for exploring different parts of the country. The house itself feels so homey and the hot tub overlooking the mountains was definitely an extra highlight! 😄 Lonnie was super responsive and friendly in all her messages, so if you're looking for a home away from home in Iceland, I can definitely recommend this one! ✨️

Stay here just like home. Great area to live and very quiet. There are several supermarkets and restaurants around. Dagmar is very responsive and definitely a great host with very good taste for home!

The location of the Airbnb was in a quiet neighborhood and very clear instructions on how to get there. Check in process was easy and the place was very clean! Great space and had everything we needed for a few days. Highly recommend!

From the incredible amenities like the hot tub, cold plunge, sauna, and game room to the thoughtful touches that made it truly unique, this place had everything we could have asked for—and more. There was so much space for all of our guests to feel comfortable and at ease. The aesthetic was stunning, with every detail thoughtfully curated to create a cozy yet luxurious atmosphere. One of our favorite features was the gold monkey statue we named George, which became a delightful mascot for our stay. The iPad-controlled lights added a fun and modern touch, allowing us to customize the ambiance perfectly for any moment. The hosts clearly put a lot of care into making this property a true haven for travelers. We loved every second of our stay and would come back in a heartbeat. There were five of us in the accommodation and we had a fantastic time. The furnishings of the apartment are great and very stylish. We slept great. Small problems were resolved immediately, communication was great. We were particularly pleased with visits from Felix the cat. The location is very good. The supermarket is around the corner, the city can be reached in 15 minutes and the sights in the area are all easily accessible. We ate at one of Valdimar's restaurants and were very satisfied. We would come back anytime.

One of the most beautiful and comfortable apartments we have ever been in Airbnb. very very well equiped and extremely organized, sparkling clean. we felt really at home. the decoration is so beautiful, we took pictures for inspiration. Helga and Óskar were super nice, responsive (even during Christmas day!) and helpful. it's a residential neighborhood, just 10 min drive from the city center. take this apartment, you won't regret it!

A very wonderful home with everything you need for a trip to Reykjavik. Comfortable bed, thoughtful designs, equipped kitchen/bathroom, and even extras like books and coffee. The parking space was greatly appreciated. It’s very quick and easy to walk to all the popular Reykjavik spots (~5-10 min walk), yet is in a nice quiet neighborhood. The space is small and cozy, and was perfect for 2 people. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

I recommend Björg's flat in Reykjavik. It has everything you need for cooking; at least three supermarkets are really close by. Everything in Reykjavik is reachable in under an hour by foot. This is a perfect origin for your explorations and also a perfect destination for relaxing after a longer trip. I would definitely choose the accommodation again.

Andrea was so helpful! She set up a memory foam mattress on the couch so that it would be extra comfy. I love that the place is so spacious and even has outdoor space. The neighborhood was very safe and central to many places we went

The place Birkir offered us really exceeded our expectations. Check-in was easy. We found the house in a state of absolute cleanliness, truly fragrant and equipped with everything you might need, from hairdryers, to detergents, from the "bagnarola" to the plaids. The accommodation is really spacious and has various additional amenities such as TV and a game console, as well as a barbecue. There is also a reserved parking space in front of the property itself. The only neutral note is the absence of an elevator, but the stairs are wide enough and not too high to climb, even with size L suitcases. The neighborhood is equipped with essential shops, such as a Bonus a few minutes walk away and a bus stop right in front of the house, not to mention the fact that it is just 15 minutes from the center of Reykjavik.

Very spacious and comfortable apartment. Huge bathroom. Kitchen well and plenty of cooking utensils. Regular cleaning, needs some deep cleaning.

Our stay in Reykjavik was amazing. Flat is lovely, cozy, big and spacious (family of 4) with everything you need if you cooking yourself. In great area close to shops, petrol station and great link if you have your own car (parking space alocated to the flat), city center is around 10 min drive. Lovely area for walk even in the winter and great open swimming pool close by (termal pool so no worries). Some children area around as well. Sigrun was a great host, very friendly and responsive and helped us with all the questions we have. Check in and out was easy and smooth.

Very attractive and comfortable cabin in a beautiful area which feels entirely private despite being only an hour from Reykjavik. Great base for hiking or sightseeing. We had five days here and felt we only scratched the surface of what the area has to offer. Cabin is very well and thoughtfully equipped. Matthias was a great host and offered fantastic recommendations of things to do and see. No hesitation at all in recommending.

Was a great stay! Our host was super responsive and very helpful. Beds were very comfortable and had plenty of blankets! The cottage was out of the way, which was exactly what we were looking for! It wasn’t too far away from town, maybe a 30 minute drive.

Loved the location, the views and all the amenities available. It was a perfect place for the two of us, cosy and had all we needed and more. Only thing I'd recommend to take with you, that we forgot, would be slippers.

We had such a great time, the cabin exceeded expectations in every way! Lilja was very responsive and helpful for any questions we had. The most beautiful surroundings and so peaceful! We enjoyed the hot tub, dart board and pool table. We even got to see the auroras on 2 separate nights which was a real highlight! The kitchen is small with a small over, this didn’t matter for us but could be useful to know if you were not planning to go out much. Thank you for a wonderful stay. I would highly recommend this cabin!!

I loved staying at Thor's cabin. It was exactly what I needed for a relaxing weekend. Beautiful place, incredible scenery. Their well maintained cabin is privately located in the Fjord, but not to far way from surrounding towns. They have a great outdoor space, and the coziest indoor setting. Thank you! Hope to be back again!

This was one of our most memorable AirBnb stays. Hjalmar’s cabin is beautiful, tranquil, and within walking distance of the lake. This cabin was great for our family of four young children, who loved the two trampolines and walking down to the lake. I’m not sure we have ever seen a host as responsive as Hjalmar - we had two questions about climate control in the cabin and the entrance gate, and he responded within a minute both times. This is a must visit if you are looking for a centrally located cabin along the golden circle and have children. We hope to return someday.
