The Bunk House

The Bunk House is an 8 by 12 foot shed with 3-4 bunks. There is a twin sized bed across the back, a bunk sized bed on each side and a plank to pull out to accommodate a fourth person in the middle over the walkway. With this adaptation, you have an 8 by 10 foot bed. We provide foam mattresses, sheets, blankets and pillows. There is an air-conditioner and a heater. Bucket toilet behind the bunkhouse. Fire ring available. No pets. The water is from our deep well - tested, certified and delicious!

This cute house is on a working alternative farm that raises grass-fed beef and lamb. If you want to get away from the busy life, come sit on the porch and watch the sunset. A state park is close for kayaking and canoeing. There are some very nice restaurants and wineries close by or you can cook in the large kitchen. There are some great biking trails and horse back riding in the conservation area that's 2 miles away.

Our family loved staying the weekend here! Perfect amount of space for a larger family. We enjoyed the grill in the back yard, and the kids loved playing on the play set. The pool table was nice to have for the adults. The peaceful atmosphere of being in the country was nice felt very private like a cabin in the woods yet close enough for shopping needs. Our family wished we had more time there so we definitely will book again in the future. The host was very quick to respond for the few things we needed.
