Built around 1780 as a smoking house, the farmhouse is protected under historic preservation and has been lovingly maintained. Located in the middle of the village, you are a few minutes away from the S-Bahn to HH (30 min.) as well as in the village center, where in addition to shopping facilities there is also a hairdressing studio and baker, pharmacies and various doctors. It is very quiet and within walking distance you are at Ratzeburger See, Küchensee in the forest, in the city center or at the train station. You will be staying in an energy self-sufficient passive house built in 2015. The energy comes only from the sun in summer. Arrival also by bus from Hamburg Wandsbek directly to Ratzeburg or by the Hamburg Transport Association local transport via Büchen/Mölln with a large-area ticket ABCDE. Alternatively, regional train from Kiel via Lübeck to Ratzeburg. The bus stops 3 minutes' walk from the senior citizens' residence.
