Room double bed Self Serve Brekkie- STL EH-71270-F

AneesaRating, 5 stars2 days ago
First time Edinburgh and can definitely say that I wouldn't chose anywhere else to stay when returning. The location was really good; lots of nearby superstore, airport was close by and easy to get to town. But the photos didn't do it justice ; it was amazing! Hotel standard. Super clean, comfy, home-away from home. Thank you Carol for your hospitality :)

Winchburgh home

JyotiRating, 5 stars2 days ago
After our long tour of Scotland, we took a short break in Aberdeen before driving to Winchburgh. Roadworks and lane closures caused some delays on our way to Pete’s, but he was incredibly accommodating with a flexible check-in. Pete was warm, cheerful, and patiently waited for our arrival. He even informed us about traffic delays to the airport due to the RHS show. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a restful stop before catching a flight!

Single bed in beautiful cottage in rural setting

AmyRating, 5 stars2 days ago
Omy, I had such an amazing time in Susan and her family home. It was my first solo trip, super exciting but also a bit scary! But right from the start, when i walked through the front door It fell as home. The home is just so beautiful, cosy and homey. Susan and her family made sure I was feeling at easy when i first arrived. They were out for a lovely birthday, but she made sure that i could find everything with ease (she hung post-its up for me!). When I got back from a day out, she made a cup of tea for me and listen to all the stories I had to tell (and i talk a lot haha!). I really can't wait to stay at their house again! Just thinking about eating my breakfast in front of the open doors and the garden, makes my heart full with warmth. Don't second guess for staying with Susan. You will feel the main character in your own The Holiday movie ;) Susan thank you again so much. With Love, Amy

Lovely room in stylish flat, Edinburgh

ClaireRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
I had only a night between flights so being close to the airport was my primary aim. Andrew’s greeted me at the door to the apartment block and was welcoming and friendly over a cuppa in her kitchen. The bed was super comfy:everything about the apartment felt good quality including the pillow, duvet, furnishings. I didn’t have a sense of house rules compared to a recent stay at a room in someone’s home elsewhere on my trip: Andrea was easy going and interesting to talk to, as a solo traveller having just spent almost a week on my own in an apartment in France. She said she hadn’t minded previous guests who’d left at 3am for flights although I did my best to be quiet in my room for the sake of courtesy. Andrea said she would amend her description to explain the airport bus option (dedicated airport bus approx £4? or £2.20 bus 17? then walk 25mins or take a second bus (£2.20) as I felt ripped off (by the company with the seeming monopoly on taxis from the airport) at £24.50 7min ride 8pm

Double bedroom in family home

DomRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Luca (and her adorable daughter) are wonderful hosts and offer guests a spacious, comfortable room, that even has a tea and coffee station within the room itself. Their house is located in a safe and quiet area of South Queensferry and is ideally located for getting into Edinburgh or to/from the airport. The train station is only 15mins walk away, (with connections to multiple locations across Scotland) and the bus stop is only about 5mins walk from the house. Luca offers guests basic use of the kitchen and full use of the newly decorated and beautiful bathroom which is right next door to the bedroom. She provides great communication and is very responsive. We'd therefore have no hesitations in highly recommending this AirBnB offering and we thank Luca and her daughter again for their great hospitality.

Claire is a warm and welcoming host, very helpful, and it was a real pleasure to communicate with her – both via chat and in person. The location is perfect for exploring Edinburgh and returning to the peaceful countryside after a day in the city. We immediately felt at home in the absolutely lovely cottage. Thank you, Claire – I hope our paths cross again someday.
