Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Ratekau

Despite the rain, we had a great long weekend with the family. Everyone had their retreat. Together we came in the garden arbor or in the house by the fireplace. There were 9 of us. The house has a lot of charm. Cozy beds. We lacked nothing. We'll be happy to come back.

We stayed here with our 2 small children and especially enjoyed the peace and quiet. We loved the view from the terrace and living area of the lake. The children had toys in the children's room and we had everything we needed in the kitchen, bathroom & co. Despite the rain, there were great excursion destinations for families nearby and it is also only a few minutes' drive to the beach. Thanks for the lovely, relaxing stay and the cozy "short-term home"!

The cozy little cottage, overgrown with fragrant roses, was just right for a break. In the morning you wake up with birds chirping, in the evening hedgehogs run across the terrace. An idyll with super lovely hosts who live next door. Lake Ratzeburg can be reached in about 15 minutes by car.

The house is perfectly located. Quiet yet only 5 minutes to the promenade/beach. Great restaurants nearby. The garden was very well maintained and there was everything you could ever need and even more than expected. The house was very clean and you immediately felt comfortable. Glad to come back :-)

The place was very clean and tidy. The location to the beach was perfect and the house is very child-friendly. The contact was great and Stephan is immediately available in case of problems. The only small downside: The beds are a little outdated and could be replaced. All in all, we were super satisfied and had a great week!

Jules Hus was a hit for our family weekend. For the great weather, the nearby natural beach was great. We especially liked the large garden with the beautiful wooden terrace, the beach chair and the fire bowl. A perfect hygge weekend!

The three days in Lübeck were also so great because of the beautiful apartment. Everything is within walking distance, from the path to the train station, to the small shopping, the city walk, the museums and churches and the great bike rental "Sutsche". The house is already inviting in the stairwell! I would come back.

The apartment under thatched roofs is highly recommended. The location is perfect for us. We enjoyed the tranquility, the view of the fields, the walking paths, the lakes nearby as well as Ratzeburg, Mölln and Lübeck are worth a trip. We would like to highlight very positively that coffee and everyday items such as baking paper, tabs, etc. are more than sufficient. We liked to sit in the garden in the evening. Here we could observe a deer and many birds. We will definitely be back!

Everything was perfect, we felt right at home and could enjoy our days very much. In this quiet place, Alexander's apartment is the perfect oasis of well-being with first-class amenities, whether in the very modern bathroom, in the kitchen or on the hot tub that works flawlessly even in winter. We will be happy to come back and can only recommend the apartment! :)

We can honestly call the accommodation the most lovingly furnished accommodation we have ever lived in on Airbnb. We really didn't miss anything, on the contrary: great seating, relaxed lounge loungers in the garden, a top equipped kitchen, sensibly developed bathrooms with motion detectors for the night... A truly unique, cozy and absolutely idyllic find is available to rent here. The owner Torsten is extremely friendly and accommodating and even offered us a late checkout at no extra charge - so far unique for us. We can and want to make a clear 200% recommendation here! :-)

We were ready for a break from our travels so Bernd’s house was just perfect. It’s in a quiet setting and a comfortable place to relax. The house is spacious with outdoor seating and BBQ, overlooking the garden. It has everything you would need and the hosts were very generous, leaving some gifts for us to try. Bernd’s was easily contactable and responsive in dealing with a problem that arose on our first night in the property. I would highly recommend for a quiet relaxing break.

We spent five weeks in winter in Cornelia's cozy, charming accommodation. It is furnished with a lot of love for detail, and there was nothing missing. The location is unbeatable in the immediate vicinity of the canal. Our dogs loved it. Just like the lovingly maintained garden. In short, we highly recommend the apartment!

Very nice, maritime tastefully furnished apartment! Top location overlooking the inland lake and partly the North Sea. Bakers and shops for strolling, restaurants, right around the corner. The two balconies made it possible to sit in the sun both in the morning and in the afternoon. I would also like to emphasize the cleanliness of the apartment and the uncomplicated service at check-in and check-out. It was all easy and very understandable. We had a very relaxing weekend and can fully recommend the apartment!

But we felt very comfortable the first minute. We were there with 4 adults and 3 kids and there was more than enough space. We slept great, the amenities are cozy and fit wonderfully into the house, the view from the terrace was very nice. Neele welcomed us in a very friendly way, showed us everything and explained the sauna. The communication was great. We definitely recommend the house!

A nice cottage in a quiet location. The semi-detached houses are highly recommended for larger groups. The layout of the houses makes it possible to be together, but there is also a chance to retreat! Especially in mixed groups, where children are also perfect. For some, it takes some getting used to the fact that there is no wifi. Cell phone reception is also rather poor. Not a problem for us, it was rather beneficial for the recovery. In the kitchen, nothing was missing in terms of dishes. However, you have to know that things of the basic equipment, salt, baking paper, oil, detergent/tabs, hand soaps in the bathrooms, etc., are not mandatory. There was a loving welcome package in each kitchen, but it will not be sufficient depending on the length of stay (1Spültab, 1 small package of salt and pepper, 1 bag of dish soap). Had a great stay and would book the house again anytime!

We had a wonderful weekend in this accommodation with six adults and a dog. The highlights of the large house are definitely the winter garden and the large garden, where you can relax. The place is clean and fully equipped, so you can quickly feel at home. André and his wife live next door and are very warm hosts who are always available for questions and have many tips for things to do nearby. The location of the house in a quiet residential area is also great. We would come back any time and can only recommend the place.

We had a wonderful wellness weekend with the girls in this fantastic house! We were particularly enthusiastic about the beautiful outdoor area, which together with the hot tub created a really relaxed atmosphere. The sauna was also a real highlight. The bedrooms are super nice and cozy, and the whole house is modern and lovingly designed – you immediately feel at home. The short way to the beach is perfect for walks. The only small drawback: Shopping is a little further away. But for that, the great house always compensates! Absolutely recommend, we'll be happy to come back!

It was a very pleasant stay! The house has everything you need to relax. Sauna is amazing, bbq equipment is great. I strongly recommend this place for a short stay. But make sure you come with your car, as shops and civilisation is pretty far, which is not bad at all when one wants some peace.

The house is a great place to spend a relaxing vacation with many friends or the extended family. The house is so big that you don't even notice that you're there with 12 people. And if everyone comes together for dinner, everyone still finds a place at the huge dining table. The furnishings are extremely stylish. I'll be returning home inspired.

Sure – here's a suggestion for your Airbnb review: ⸻ We had a great stay at Birgit's! The house was perfect for our family – even our dog felt completely comfortable. The accommodation is lovingly furnished, super equipped – we felt right at home. We used the sauna every day. The only small downside: for kitesurfing, the distance to Gold was a little further than hoped – but everything else more than made up for it. Birgit was very warm, helpful and approachable at all times. We will be happy to come back!
