We had a fantastic time at Dormestone House. It is an amazing property with so much space so perfect for visiting with family or friends. It was the perfect place to celebrate Christmas. Would love to go in summer when we could use all of the facilities.

Cleanest caravan we have ever stayed in. Host was very quick to reply and always helpful. Great location, lots to do on site and around locally.

We absolutely loved our stay and will be booking again. The space was clean, warm and very spacious up and downstairs. The design and decor was on another level. We couldn’t get over the beautiful chandelier. We were greeted with fruits and milk on arrival in the large kitchen. Ahead of our journey we were given clear directions to the property. Access was easy and there were clear instructions for the sauna, pool etc. We used the sauna daily. It’s was huge and looked brand new. We were be able to watch the kids swim in the pool from the sauna. The kids absolutely loved the pool and took every opportunity day and night to swim. It really was a bonus to have our own pool. 5 of us stayed for a week and there was enough space in the fridge and freezer for all of our food. I have already recommended the space to my friends.

The place was clean and tidy. Everything we needed was there and we had complimentary small bottle of milk. Would definitely go back. We went to Canterbury through the bus at the entrance of the camp. Great weekend away

We stayed at this beautiful cottage while preparing for our wedding and for our wedding night and it honestly couldn’t have been more perfect. From the moment we arrived, it felt private, calming, and full of love. Karen and David, our wonderful hosts, truly went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Every detail was taken care of: a generous welcome hamper, plenty of towels, quality cleaning products, and even luxurious bath and shower potions. And the bed - wow! I have two prolapsed discs and have lived with constant discomfort for years… yet after just a few nights here, I genuinely felt like a spring chicken again! It was that good. So good, in fact, I’ll be purchasing the same one for home. This cottage exceeded our expectations in every way. It felt like home, and now holds a special place in our hearts as the place we spent our wedding night. We will absolutely be returning. Thank you, Karen and David, for making our special time even more magical.

This was our second visit to the Lighthouse and it still is an amazing place, from the panoramic sea views to a lovely warm inviting home. A dip in the pool before breakfast, sitting with a coffee watching the seascape, as far as Essex and beyond, sunsets and so much more. I will make the same comment as I did last, this goes for the whole of our party across 3 generations and the dogs, the only bad thing about the Lighthouse is having to leave. Hopefully this will not be our last visit.

This house has absolutely everything you could ever want or need. Swimming pool is great and heated to a perfect temp for the kids. House is enormous and every little thing seems to have been thought of by the hosts including extras such as dressing gowns for all guests, soap, shampoo and a hairdryer in every room. Location is right on the coast with great views out the front of the sea. Garden is lovely. Would recommend to anyone. Thanks Alan and Bill

my daughter, grandaughter and I had a wonderful 2 night stay. The cottage was cosy, comfortable and clean. Although very close to beaches, bars and restaurants, it was still very peaceful. Wish we could have stayed longer.

We enjoyed our stay in the Arts and Crafts home, it was exactly as described in the information. The rooms including bedrooms were large and comfortable and suitably furnished. It suited us as a family group of 8 adults and 2 young children. The house was well equipped and we particularly liked the kitchen /dining room area where we spent most of our time whilst the children played. They enjoyed the garden which was easily accessible as was the park across the road. We all had a great week exploring the local area, eating at various restaurants and we even did a parkrun at Pegwell Bay! Thankyou Elaina for being a great host.

Cosy, peaceful and absolutely beautiful place to stay! The hosts were really accommodating and great at communicating with us before, during and after our trip. Couldn’t recommend enough!

Beautiful house, had everything we needed and more! Comfortable beds, brilliant kitchen and lovely garden. Kids were so excited by the bunk beds and toys - we needn't have brought our own! Would definitely come back.

We had a wonderful stay at Lorna's house. The views were fantastic, and the home was well-equipped, making it perfect for our family getaway. The welcome basket was a thoughtful touch! Lorna was a very helpful and responsive host, and the location between Herne Bay and Whitstable was ideal. We'd happily return and highly recommend this lovely seaside retreat.

Brilliant stay, such a perfect location!

Had such an enjoyable stay at Melissa's home. The kitchen was stunning, we cooked a great brunch in the morning before starting our day. The bed in the king bedroom was 10/10, there were plenty of bathrooms for everyone to use, and lots towels too. Melissa responded quickly to my questions as well! We would definitely book again :)

Ben was super helpful and informative. The house is really impressive, both stylish and cosy. Kitchen was well stocked including milk and OJ and breakfast cereal, as well as other essentials. It was a great place to stay. Highly recommended thanks Ben

Yvonne’s accommodation is lovely - really nicely decorated, plenty of space, great central location and also surprisingly quiet as it’s tucked away in the mews. There is no microwave (listing says it is, Yvonne has apparently tried to update but it defaulted back to stating there is one) but otherwise the accommodation is fully specified. We were grateful for the basket of local goods and fresh juice and milk on arrival too. Also for the local recommendations and Yvonne’s general responsiveness, flexibility and friendliness. Lovely stay, Emily was very friendly and communication was great. We had a very peaceful and relaxing time, the place was as in the description. A perfect place for a quiet stay with easy access to Whitstable, Herne Bay etc with brilliant hosts.

I had a fantastic stay at Gary and Jen’s place! The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything I needed for a comfortable and relaxing visit. The location was great, and the little thoughtful touches made it feel like a home away from home. Communication was smooth and easy throughout.
