Nice place for 1-2 people, close to the beach and local bars. Host is very friendly and responds very quickly. With in the small space they arranged all the amenities very well. Would love to visit this place again.

The house is very nice, clean, it met my expectations. It would be good to put a TV in the living room when you have children. I hope to return

A BEAUTIFUL oasis and amazing deal. We felt so welcomed by the staff working there, especially Amanda. The grounds were stunning with plans through, the pool was a treat! Breakfast was made fresh and delicious. We loved our private shower outside the room. The yoga studio was stunning and such a great class. Short walk to the beach and local restaurants. We'll be back!

We had an unforgettable experience at Fede's beautiful property. It was a family trip with several children, who enjoyed every corner to the fullest. As a mother, I felt completely calm thanks to the security of the place, which is felt in every detail. The proximity to the sea is a gift: the sound of the waves accompanied us like a natural lullaby throughout our stay. One of the treasures of the place is a majestic Guanacaste tree, a national symbol of Costa Rica. Its shade is a delightful refuge, a true lung that renews the air and invites us to stop, breathe, and connect. It was our favorite place to rest and share. Fede was always attentive, with a friendly and respectful presence that made us feel at home. Definitely a place we want to go back to. Thank you so much!

Thank You Brendan for providing this Most Fabulous Stay ! Your Lush Property with all its Flowers , relaxing ambiance , and Crystal Clear Sparkling Swimming Pool set the Perfect tone ! As for “containers” being bedroom / bath accommodations , BRILLIANT ! The rooms are well laid out , super comfortable , and the Shower is Dreamy ! We arrived for NYE , and were provided access to the Festive Celebration , next door at Fuego , with Fireworks ! From one fabulous extreme to the next , the second day and evening were super chill . Breakfast is Outstanding in the common area , the guests staying are all so laidback , and then , . . . the Yoga studio ! We practiced with a most Lovely instructor , for an evening candlelit offering . Namaste 💕 As for the Staff , all the Nice Humans took such incredible care of us ! Beautiful place very close to the beach! Host gave clear instructions for check-in. For a moment the water went out but the co-host quickly solved the problem.

I'VE STAYED AT THIS PLACE SEVERAL TIMES NOW AND I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!! GREAT LOCATION IN THE CENTER OF TOWN BUT NOT ON A NOISY MAIN ROAD. Excellent communication, a pleasant and quiet place for a getaway with your partner. Clean place... the best thing is to feel the waves crashing as well as the ocean view, very relaxing

We stayed at Carlos’ place for 10 nights and it had everything we needed. It was important to us to be able to cook our own meals and we had everything we needed to do that. It was a close to drive to everything and only took 10 minutes or so to get anywhere, location was perfect for us. The drive was easy and the place was easily accessible by car. The neighbours are very close, although we never saw them, we could hear them- but it wasn’t bothersome at all. Felt very safe and comfortable. If your looking for something that’s close to everything, is simple, safe and affordable- this is it! Also, Carlos was really great to communicate with. We didn’t have any issues, but had questions about places to go and things to see and he gave us SO much information that might have otherwise been hard to find on our own!

This was a great stay for two. Needs to note that you have to say a full week for cleaning services but still accommodate us very well will definitely be back

Javier is a great host, he’s really sweet and even greeted us when we arrived. He let us park our car in his yard and so we knew it was safe for the night. The accommodation is super clean and comfortable. Great stay.

The house is located in a quiet place and surrounded by nature. The house is below a restaurant and sometimes you can hear when they move a chair or table. The restaurant's food is excellent.

Jorge is a great host. Everything was up to par for what we paid for and 3 min walk to the beach. He helped us first day in less then 30 min. Pura Vida!

We had a wonderful stay at Puka Retreat. The space was furnished very thoughtfully with all the needed amenities. The semi-outdoor kitchen was an especially nice touch that made us feel right at home. The managers, Belinda and Rolando were always responsive and very helpful. The stay is near the beautiful Playa Avellanas beach, which is so lovely to visit especially in the mornings.

It was exactly what we expected, because all the descriptions fully matched what we got. We were ready that the access to the house is not easy because of the tide, we were ready that the house would be small, but or was ok for us, because we stayed only 2 nights. And we DIDN’T want noisy restaurants nearby, so we got what we wanted, Thank you so much!!!❤️

Yahayra and his family were very kind to welcome us, and cared about an older adult we went with so he could have all the comforts. The place has many social areas and in the evenings there is a nice view, highly recommended.

Great spot for a central location with easy access by driving to playa avellanas and playa negra. short walk to beach, just across the street. kitchen is nice, pool fun for kids. AC and wifi worked great. Great value. would stay again.

We had a great few days in bungalow 1. Everything was very clean, also very stylishly furnished. The terrace with the outdoor kitchen was a dream, the mattresses super comfortable. We were completely comfortable! Within walking distance there was a fruit and vegetable stand, where you could shop very cheaply, which was very convenient. Communication also went smoothly. After we said after the first night that the pillows were unfortunately much too thick for us, we were immediately brought thinner pillows, which was really very thoughtful.

Jasmins place is wonderful and a must when you visit the Santa Teresa area in Costa Rica. So quiet, safe, cozy and close to nature. We eat breakfast with hundreds of butterflies and calibris, and saw the ocean from our bedroom. Absolutely would recommend. Jasmin was so nice and helpful. Que Mae has a (brand new) cozy restaurant a 10 minute walk from the house, which is great for lunch or dinner. 10/10!
