It's better than how it's shown in pictures! The place is very quiet and relaxing! The attention of the super friendly staff especially Flory! We went with the pets and they were super well received to a bed they gave us for them, the view and the sunset from the place is amazing The cool pool and green area surroundings you need to rest

The apartments was very spacious and beautiful, near the airport and easy to reach, perfect start for our Road Trip.

Gorgeous place close to the beach and park entrance. We enjoyed our A/C room and the beautiful jungle surroundings. We visited three restaurants close by, a vegan spot for a yummy lunch, hornitos for the best empanadas ever!! And Jafa for ice cream. If you’re on the local bus don’t get off on the highway and pay 3000 colones for a taxi, there is a stop just 800 meters away from the Airbnb. If you’re on the bus that stops at the big station we’d recommend paying for a taxi as it’s a 30 minute walk.

I stayed for one and a half week at Surfhouse and it was amazing! the location is perfect! Moshe is great!! he really cares about the guests..I had so much fun and I will definitely come back again ❤🌸🤙🌻

We had the best 7 nights here. The location is great, just off the main road so it felt secluded yet only 5 minutes to all the restaurants. All the staff, Oli and Emilie were so nice and helpful. Our room was large and had everything we needed. We recommend having their breakfast, it’s great value and good! We felt relaxed throughout, and there is a nice social area by the pool where me made friends with other guests. A nice community feel. We honestly loved it and would like to come again and bring friends. We also adored Emma, their wonderful calm dog ha!

Everything was excellent, I will definitely return to the Outback hotel on my next visit to Playa Hermosa

What a phenomenal sanctuary and hope-instilling place of pure peace. I highly recommend this unique healing retreat center to recharge your spirit batteries and leave more centered. Every love-filled, nutritious meal induced a foodgasm. The chefs are culinary artists! I’m already looking forward to returning to this heavenly haven.

Everything was great. Very clean. Very beautiful place. The staff were extremely friendly and provided amazing service. Moises in particular (who works at the bar near the pool), was quick, attentive, and took the time to get to know his customers. He is always smiling and greets you everytime. Very peaceful place. This place also has a bar with music and kareoke at the at the top floor with lots of board games available which was fun. You can see workers constantly cleaning everywhere, day and night, it is extremely clean and beautiful.

Jöelle and Simon were the most responsive hosts we have encountered. They were a wealth of knowledge about beaches, activities, restaurants, and anything else we wanted to know. Vida Verde Eco-Guest House is everything they describe. We awoke to howler monkeys and bird song, walked 20 mins to explore the beach, rented surfboards and took lessons, rode horses on the beach, and had some fine meals, included a few prepared by Jöelle and Simon (which they offer daily, if desired). The accommodations were comfortable, spotless, and the kitchen was al fresco, with outside cooking and dining, all under cover. It was a wonderful stay for our family!

There were two of us for 3 nights in a chic bungalow in the Satta Lodge. Brian contacted us briefly in advance on WhatsApp to give us all the information. The property is easy to find with Google Maps/Waze. Everything is very nicely designed and furnished. In the open lobby you can relax, play or drink a cocktail :) There is also a very good breakfast freshly prepared every day. All in all, a great experience that I can definitely recommend.

Such a unique experience to stay somewhere that supports such an important cause. Jaqueline was super responsive and made checking in a breeze. She had us phone her since we arrived after hours & guided us over the phone. When the room keys weren’t in the room as expected, Jacqueline came to the site after hours & delivered us a spare key. The tour of the animal rescue was very informative & conducted ethically so that guests do approach animals or the enclosures, but observe and learn about them from a distance. There is a lot of emphasis on animal welfare and preventing animals from becoming used to humans. My only complaints would be that the pool was overdue for cleaning & very green & the overwhelming abundance of bugs that got in our room was not ideal. We did visit in May so early rainy season, but some of the windows had little spots where the critters got in. The second night was better once we discovered those spots and blocked them. Definitely stay here! Bring bug spray!

Great stay with my girlfriend , the location was pretty good to walk anywhere in Jaco , room was great , modern and spacious, We really appreciated the tv had a Netflix guest account , you rock !

We LOVED this house and 100% will be back! The hosts were amazing, they were super quick to answer questions and were so kind and generous. The house is adorable! It’s quiet, peaceful, spacious, clean, and in a good location. Great kitchen too! The only minor critiques we have is one of the beds is very firm and the pillows could be updated as well. Overall we will definitely be back!!

Cindy and her husband José Mario are amazing, as was their Airbnb. It's a super comforting and peaceful place, super private, clean, tidy and surrounded by nature, cold weather and full of energy. Cindy and Don José Mario's service was incredible, great hosts, very nice people, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND it, I would come back as often as possible!

Cara's ecolodge is an amazing place to stay. You are immersed in nature and it's incredibly peaceful there. The waterfall and the river on the property are a huge plus and we enjoyed them both very much. The caretakers and Cara are super friendly and Doña Luz's food down the street was delicious. We wished we could have eaten her meals everyday of the trip! Couldn't recommend this place more!

The place is exactly like the one described in the listing, and I'd even say it's better in person. A perfect place to get away from the bulla and feel far away in the jungle but with all the necessary services (very good Internet, 0 complaints). Robert and Stephanie are too kind and helpful, in addition to Mango (the dog) which is too cute. Highly recommended.

A very beautiful place where you can enjoy the beach, pool, view of deer in their habitat, macaws, raccoons, congos, etc. In addition to a supermarket just two minutes away and a good restaurant a 10-minute walk away, the room is equipped with everything you need for a relaxing stay.
