Country Cottage

AlessandroRating, 5 stars2 months ago
The cottage with countryside of Francesco and Laura is very pleasant, surrounded by olive trees and nature. A really nice and perfect setting to relax, but also as a base to visit the beauties of Tuscany. The accommodation has everything you need for a stay, the fireplace is a real treat to create a romantic atmosphere. If I had to criticize something, I would say that the bed is not the most comfortable but, being a sofa bed (given the open space context) it is absolutely tolerable. The host Francesco welcomed us in person and immediately proved to be very kind and helpful to make our stay the best. Highly recommended!
A charming independent home is set amidst greenery, featuring a stone exterior and terracotta roof. Large windows framed in green provide a view of the surrounding landscape. The entrance is covered by a small porch, adding to the inviting appeal of the exterior.

Cottage in the Tuscan countryside

CarrieRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Ulisse's was really helpful as he met me at his restaurant and I followed him to the cottage. There is a coop, a butchers, a bakery and a little supermarket in Buccine and a small market on Wednesday mornings, which is really handy as there is not much around the cottage. It is in the middle of the country side surrounded by vineyards and nature, a perfect place for nature lovers. Ulisse, his wife and daughter were all really helpful and quick to resolve issues. For anyone trying to find it, have the petrol station and ristorante di ciccio on your left then continue straight on the SP540 , once you pass ristorante le bottega grassa ( a white building on your right) it is your next right turn ( the dump where you need to dispose of your rubbish from the cottage is on the right of this road) then take your next left signed "Le Mura" you continue down this road until a big yellow and white hse on the left and the big stone house on the right, the cottage is beside the stone house.

Characteristic cottage with private pool

We spend a wounderful week in Pogiolo in this converted farmhouse which has been renovated thoughtfully and with very good taste. We enjoyed the beautiful pool and the great view on Castelignon Fiorentiono. The hosts, who live on the property, were very nice and open. They gave us advice for great restaurants and trips in the area. We highly recommend and would come back any time.

Casa Gialla, Cortona-sunsets in the olive grove

ThomasRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
I was looking for a spacious, comfortable place with pleasant outdoor features. I found it here. Beautiful, rural, Tuscan surroundings, yet only 20 minutes from Cortona: a great hill town of middling size. Plenty of room for 4 - 6 people with very good sleeping arrangements. Convenient kitchen, washer, and furnishings helped make my almost 3 week stay enjoyable. Definitely benefitted by the instructions, you tube video, and good communication. Would certainly consider another stay if in the area again!

Relaxing holiday in private house with pool

JurriaanRating, 5 stars12 months ago
We had a very nice stay with the family (5 adults) in this beautiful part of Tuscany. This beautiful cottage is part of a series of cottages managed by a cooperative. We had a villa that would have used to be a barn with its own swimming pool on the edge of a large olive grove. A breathtaking view from the living room and garden over the region. Insane. There are two restaurants at walking distance. For the rest, everything can be reached within an hour or less. The COOP and Lidl are a 20-minute drive, Siena 50 minutes away and the discovery of this holiday Arezzo is less than half an hour away. What a beautiful city with rich history and fantastic restaurant. Our neighbors from Germany who had the big villa were really friendly. It was during the European Championship so it was nice to watch the matches together. 1 evening we watched football in the ice cream parlor in the village. Was also very cozy. Very friendly people.
The living/dining area features exposed wooden beams on the ceiling and a terracotta tiled floor. A modern kitchen with wooden cabinetry is complemented by a dining table set for four. Natural light enters through red-framed windows, enhancing the cozy ambiance.

We had a wonderful time at the cottage in Cennina. The setting was absolutely beautiful. We felt remote yet were just a few minutes from nearby Ambra and Bucine. We highly recommend this place and we hope to return soon.

HOUSE IN TUSCANY, WITH POOL

JagodaRating, 5 stars9 months ago
The place is wonderful ! The cottage had everything you need, a great space in front of the cottage - a private grill, a table with chairs, sun loungers, an umbrella and a grill. The nearest store is about 10 minutes by car, there are several great restaurants in pratovecchio and Stia. The pool area is great- the pool is clean, the sun loungers are comfortable, and the view is AMAZING. Definitely recommend for shorter and longer stays !

Charming Cottage with Pool

YaoRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We stayed a week at the cottage and had a wonderful time. The surroundings were so beautiful. There are quite a few beautiful towns nearby, perfect for day trips, but you’ll need a car, even to go to Castiglion Fiorentino, the nearest village. Fausto and Flavia were very welcoming and checked in us several times. The cottage was very clean and had everything we needed during our stay.
A vase filled with white flowers and yellow roses is placed on a marble dining table. A rustic, round clay dish sits nearby, complemented by natural light streaming through the large window, enhancing the inviting setting.

A beautiful exclusive ancient Haybarn near Siena

GiuliaRating, 5 stars9 months ago
What can I say! A wonderful place and Gavina's hospitality is extraordinary and precious. A beautiful cozy barn, in a large garden where sun and shade alternate thanks to very wide pergolas, which allow you to work and eat away from the sun. Gavina, in addition to making us find many small attentions at home, when we had a problem with our car, she helped us with a really extraordinary availability. I could continue for a long time describing the beauty of the place and the kindness of Gavina, but I just add that the surroundings are beautiful, and if you don't just want to enjoy the pleasantness of the house and its wonderful garden, just take a few kilometers to visit Tuscany most beautiful and rich in nature and culture. Thank you Gavina See you soon!
A view through a window showcases a charming stone building with a wooden door and decorative chimneys. Surrounding greenery and potted flowers are visible, indicating a tranquil outdoor environment.

Vacation home - (Morra) Citta'di Castello, Italy

ClemensRating, 5 stars10 months ago
The house is very nice, very secluded (1km private gravel path to the house) and quiet and completely surrounded by nature. The pool is huge and very well equipped with shower and toilet right by the pool. Each room still has its own large bathroom and there are even 2 kitchens. The terrace and in general the whole outdoor area is very nice and with enough trees you also have beautiful natural shade. All in all we were very satisfied, communication with Milagros was also very easy and fast. The accommodation is definitely recommended!

Idyllic cosy cottage+ pool close to Florence

ValentinRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Very easy to work with Nikola (Maria's son) and the place was exactly as described. Beautiful surroundings. Just be sure to be careful (slow and steady) going up and down the mountainside. More than once we nearly bumped bumpers with speedy incoming drivers around the bends of the route.
A charming villa is surrounded by olive trees, with a pathway leading to a patio set for outdoor dining. Sunlight filters through the branches, casting a warm glow on the stone exterior and lush lawn.

Tuscan Roots Villa

KarolinaRating, 5 stars9 months ago
Amazing place if you're natures child as much as me! vineyards and olive trees around, I've taken a walk and seen deer, wild boar with babies, rabbits, eagles and much more. It's set in good location. Villa itself it's beautiful old school and perfect for calm holidays or to comeback after being a tourist in a busy bigger towns. Serena is amazing host and super helpful, I've had no problems communicating and if I needed anything she was literally aessage away. I would come back to this place and I highly recommend it. But do listen to Serena, small and low cars not ideal 😂
