Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Portree

This was one of the best places we’ve stayed in the world- it’s at the far end of sky - just a few working farms, converted vacation homes, artists and mostly sheep. The views are absolutely amazing. Rain or shine, the sun room offers amazing views. You can walk right out of the home on one of the most amazing hikes continuing to Neist point. The house was extremely comfortable and had all the necessary amenities. Everything was first class. There was even a wonderful gift basket with some delightful treats. Washer dryer, and other appliances worked well and the shower was excellent. We did not try the hot tub, but it looked nice. The grounds were also beautiful. It worked extremely well for my wife and I and my two senior parents. There’s so much to do nearby, but we didn’t want to leave. Spent five nights in May. Glendale nearby has all the necessary amenities. A fun place to spend a week, would definitely come back! Truly, a hidden treasure.

Tigh A'Mhulillin is a beautiful and peaceful place. We've just spent a week enjoying spectacular weather and scenery and observing the wildlife from the house. The house is immaculate, well equipped and extremely comfortable with lovely touches. Jamie has thought of everything. Thank you.

Peaceful location, incredible views. Great access to Skye, Eliean Donan and that area, however quite a bit out from everything else. Kyle is a great place to run to for supplies and a few meal options, but be aware that things close early or don't open at all on certain days. The space is very nice, a bit creaky that shows it's character. It was nice to open the sliding glass door and just listen to nature and watch the time go by. We had everything we needed inside as it is very well equipped and our hosts were ever helpful and friendly. Highly recommended.

Beyond amazing. Our first time on Sky for more than a day. The view was great all round. Have already booked for next year.

It was a lovely place to stay. The was cozy with a great layout. The place is spacious and very comfortable to stay. Plus it is walkable to town centre which made it very convenient. Sarah is very responsive and let us know a head of time regarding to lack of food on the island due to food supply chain interruption. We had a wonderful time.

Though its an expensive rental, it's a beautiful house in a convenient location. squeaky clean and very functional house. great responsive host who helped us with the dish washer trouble we had immediately. she was so kind to leave us some food gifts as well, appreciate it. we love this property!

Iain and Ingrid were friendly, helpful and welcoming. Their place is a lovely, peaceful oasis. The cabin was pristinely clean, charming and cozy, and the gardens full of flowers and birds made us feel that we were living in a fairy tale! Their place is close to lots of outdoor activities. We are already planning our next stay.

The Byre was the perfect getaway on Isle of Syke for us - it‘s located remotely but easily accessible with a wonderful view over Scottish landscape and the sea with enough space to also be inside if the weather is variable. We enjoyed it very much and can truly recommend it

Lovely accommodation with great water views. Yvette is warm and welcoming and gave us with good tips about touring and attractions.

Had a lovely couple of nights at the Cairnfield flat. Very comfortable and a good shower. Ruarie was very helpful with advice on the area. We enjoyed a lovely walk and visited Amy’s place for coffee and Mrs Mack’s burger van!

Lovely peaceful setting out in the country, reminded me of home. Mairi and Harry were easy to get along with and helpful on what to see and do. Highly recommend this place.

Peaceful and private cottage located in short walking distance to shops, restaurants and bakeries. Clean, comfortable, and picturesque!

Highly recommend a stay at The Bay. The location right on the beach is fantastic with picture perfect scenery as far as the eye can see. Accomodation was probably the best equipped we have ever stayed in (special little touches from torches to tupperwares) and a thoughtful welcome pack was a nice surprise. Carol was a communicative host offering us an early check in, greeting us on arrival and messaged us on the eve of our departure to offer a late check out. A perfect stay from beginning to end.

Excellent place to stay while discovering the Isle of Skye. City center is accessible by foot. The apartment is very cosy and well equipped. Perfect for a family of 4.

If you are thinking of booking this airbnb, do it! It was one of the best places we stayed in! The bed was very comfortable, the entire place was super clean with great amenities, and the view was just beautiful to fall asleep and wake up to! Andy and Mel were great hosts and I do hope to be back and explore more of the Isle of Skye and beautiful area surrounding it!

we absolutely loved staying at Marie's place. The house had everything you need and was nice and clean. We got lucky and had a beautiful sunset visible through the living room window! The views are amazing and it is in a great location to explore Skye! I would definitely recommend Marie's place to other travellers!

We had a great stay at this apartment! It had everything you’d want in an Airbnb, clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The location is convenient, just a 2-minute drive to a large Co-op where we found all our groceries, sandwiches, and wraps. The beds were comfortable, and we slept really well. Would definitely recommend for a relaxing and hassle-free stay!

We really enjoyed Rachel's place. It was close to town and to lots of activities on the island. The bed was comfortable, the shower water was instantly hot, the wi-fi worked well, the kitchen was clean (and the pots and pans looked new) the parking was off the street and private. We could walk right into town and we could drive to lots of the sites on the island. She even offered to do some laundry for us. It was the kind of private place in which we didn't even need to lock the door and didn't. I would recommend Rachel's place to anyone and would stay again if in the area.

We loved Mary Flora’s place - it was comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. Mary Flora was so lovely and provided us wonderful hospitality. We used the kitchen a lot and loved the stainless steel cookware. We really appreciated that the cookware was great quality. The bed was so comfortable. The shower had great pressure and was hot immediately. Thank you Mary Flora. I would recommend her place to everyone and would stay here again if we come back to Skye.

We had such an amazing stay! We felt like it was a home away from home. The hosts had thought of everything, even binoculars to look at the amazing views! Everything for our stay was explained very well and the hosts gave us recommendations of things to do locally. We even booked a falconry experience based on the leaflets that were left. Thankyou to you both for a perfect stay. We were sad to leave today.

One of the most, (if not the most), beautifully located places we’ve ever stayed. The house was spotless and well-equipped with amenities. Rosie was a brilliant host and quick to respond whenever we needed anything. I'm so glad we decided here rather than staying in the town, which we were at first considering. Can't recommend this place enough!

John was a great host. He made sure we had everything we needed and gave some tips. His place was lovely. It is also in a great location for anybody wanting to explore the Isle of Skye.
