We had a great week in Alison's cottage and were fortunate to have warm, sunny weather all week. There's lots to do in the area. We went across to Skye several times. Alison was a great host, always responsive and helpful.

Blossom Cottage - Luxury Self Catering

MartinRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had a lovely time. It's very quiet and peaceful. We were lucky to have superb weather. We had to cook our evening meals as none of the local restaurants we contacted were dog friendly. We did spend most of our time travelling around the Isle and very much enjoyed what Skye had to offer. We very much look forward to coming back.

Head In The Skye - Dramatic Sea View at Healabhal

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful property on the Isle of Skye. The property is not only visually appealing but also incredibly comfortable, making it the perfect retreat after a day of exploring. The location is simply amazing. Nestled on the Isle of Skye, we had easy access to breathtaking landscapes, local attractions, and charming restaurants, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the unique beauty of the area. Property was clean. Hostess provided detailed information prior to our arrival that helped us check in. One of the bathrooms featured a bath instead of a shower. I would definitely visit again.

Courtyard Cottage 3, Riverside Cottage

JohnRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Plain and simple, this was THE best air b’n’b we have ever stayed in. Everything about it. The location and the club and grounds are just beyond stunning. Breathtaking views. Between the back view of the highland club facing Loch Ness to looking over your shoulder to see Loch Ness, just amazing. The cottage itself while not a part of the main building was perfect. All the amenities needed and plenty of space for the four of us. Waking up to the snow on the lawn outside was beautiful. The hamper on arrival was so helpful for our 3 nights there. The board games, fire place and sporting equipment was great. The games room and especially heated pool inside was amazing to relax and look out to the snowy mountains. Honestly, was sad to leave and could have stayed there another week! Worth every cent. Our two kids were in heaven.

A cosy lodge in a beautiful part of Scotland. Plenty of space and the extra facilities in the games room and pool were great additions. It is in a remote location which may take adjusting to. The beds were comfortable, kitchen and appliances decent. Would happily stay here again.

A landscaped area with flowering plants and a central rock feature enhances the outdoor space, complemented by the structure's slate roof and charming stone facade.

Secluded shoreline artist's bothy

ChrisRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We have just spent a very sunny four days at Jane’s wonderful Artist’s Bothy. The Bothy itself is tiny but well equipped and big enough for the two of us and our energetic black lab Kipp. Its USPs are the views of the cove with its sandy beach and of Ladhar Bheinn across the waters of Loch Nevis. We could have sat, and did sit, for hours mesmerised by the sun playing on Ladhar Bheinn, the oyster catchers on the beach and the tide sweeping in then out. Such simple pleasures! On a practical note, Mallaig has a reasonable Coop, a very good bakery and an excellent laundrette called the Mallaig Luxury Laundry Service. There are also some other attractive beaches esp Camusdaroch, Bourblach Beach and the romantically named Silver Sands of Morar, though none quite as lovely as the sandy beach by the Artist’s Bothy!

Modern & spacious, fully-equipped 2 bed bungalow

StasieRating, 5 stars3 days ago
David and Claire's place is bucolic and serene. Staring out the back door was like watching a painting of rural life. We laughed as we watched the calves play in the hillside pasture. The rooms were thoughtfully decorated and very clean. You have everything you need if you want to make a meal. But why would you when you can go next door to their cafe and have the most AMAZING food on the Isle of Skye? My husband and I are tough customers when it comes to restaurants, but one taste of the corn and spring onion fritters, and I pre-ordered the cookbook on the spot. David's suggestions and the cabin guidebook were spot on. We hiked the Fairy Pools (get a midge net for your face!) and explored the local spots. Sadly, we had to leave our dog at home, but it is perfectly set up for people traveling with pets. I have already recommended the cabin to friends who are traveling here next year. I hope my travels give me a chance to stay here again.

Only 20 minutes from Portree. Sheep for neighbours and the walk to the pub for a delicious dinner, recommended by our hosts, was perfect.
