Modern Apartment - Close to Glasgow City Centre

DebbieRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We stayed at Danny’s for a few days with our toddler. We were amazed with the space when we first walked through the door, it was much bigger than we expected! We felt at home straight away and our toddler loved the gorilla statues 😂 It was a great base for us taking car trips to various places. My partner thought it was great being able to walk into town in the evening, only a 10 min walk. We would definitely stay again, it’s such a lovely place & Danny was a great host.

The Monarch Lomond Castle Loch Lomond L/N AR00260F

ErinRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We were so grateful to Anne for hosting us at such late notice. We had a lovely time at the apartment, walking down the beautiful path to the loch, our daughters loved seeing the bunnies hopping around on the lawn in the evening! The apartment was clean, comfy and we had everything we needed. Perfectly located to spend some time in Luss, where we did the fairy trail walk and had both lunch and dinner in the village. Loch Lomond was one of our favourite places we have visited in Scotland. Anne was always quick to respond and a very friendly and helpful host.

GLASGOW WEST END 5 MIN WALK TO SECC AND HYDRO

SarahRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Lovely little flat in an excellent location for our needs. Only 20 walk from the trains and 5 mins from the OVO. We were coming through to Glasgow for a gig and the location could not have been better. Lovely flat - clean and modern decor. Farzana was very quick to respond to any questions I had and had made sure the sofa bed was made up in advance. The area had good places to eat and drink. Will definitely use again!

Seaview, a hidden jewel

AmiRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Lovely flat in ideal location by the sea. Fully equipped with everything you might need, plus lots of little extras. Double-glazed and warm blankets for cold windy weather. The sea is directly opposite the flat with rock pools to explore, if you're willing to scramble over some rocks there are wild swimmer groups that swim nearby, also a large sandy beach a short walk away with a long stretch of shallow water for safe paddling. Troon is a small town so everything you need is in walking distance. Flat is very clean and modern. Large TV screen with lots of channels, some books/games/DVDs too, if you want to stay inside. Easy to get to by public transport (Troon rail station or buses). On the Ayrshire Coastal path; the 'smugglers' trail' is a longer walk inland to Dundonald Castle. A great place for a break away from the city.

Tigh-na-Blair Apartment - A Room with a View

Matt & Taysia MaloneRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We spent 12 nights in Tigh-na-Blair…it exceeded our expectations. The view of the Firth of Clyde from the large windows in the living room is exceptional. Kitchen is functional and fully stocked…includes a separate freezer. Wi-Fi is fast and dependable. The bathroom includes a large tub/shower. The bedroom is large, includes a good-sized dresser, and the bed is comfortable (mattress is medium soft). The downstairs entry has both a washer/dryer and plenty of room to hang coats, rain gear and store shoes/boots. Every room was very clean. We appreciated the library of Arran-related books in the living room, along with artwork depicting various locations on Arran. A lot of effort has gone it to making the apartment feel like a home. Pam and her husband Rob are very welcoming and provided several recommendations for hiking and sightseeing. We highly recommend Tigh-na-Blair and will look to stay here again—it’s one of the best Airbnbs experiences we have had.

We came to Arran for a golf trip. Four aspiring golfers in our fifties. Claire’s place had ample space for us all, was well provisioned with books and games and the kitchen had everything we needed, It’s nicely appointed and makes you feel like you are on holiday by the sea. The shop and coffee shop next door was brilliant and stocked with great local and high end products. Overall great place to stay and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend!

Lesley was a welcoming, kind and friendly host. Everything was perfect in the apartment and exactly as described. It was helpful to have her living on site as she could assist us with any issues immediately; especially with bad weather warnings and giving directions and tips about the area. She was flexible with the checkout times due to the snow which helped us alot. She facilitated our pet cat very well. We are grateful to her for sharing her beautiful home so warmly and generously. We highly recommend this location as its beautiful and would come again. We give Lesley a full, 5 star thumbs up for her impeccable service. Thanks!
