We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The house was immaculately clean — truly spotless — and thoughtfully stocked with everything we could possibly need. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the management had gone above and beyond to make guests feel welcome and comfortable. Communication was excellent throughout our stay, and VRA team was both responsive and considerate. Check-in and check-out were smooth and hassle-free. Overall, a fantastic experience — we would definitely stay here again!

The house was a perfect hub for our family members for the weekend of our wedding. The gold room downstairs was such a lovely space to get dressed and ready for our ceremony and we really enjoyed the swinging chairs and gorgeous view from the big deck. Such a peaceful place! And large enough to accommodate family for meals and breakfast while they were in town, which was particularly nice since we didn't have a reception, just a small private ceremony. The whole house was well stocked with everything we could need including all kitchenware, appliances, and even an iron and ironing board. Check in and check out was easy and everything was very well cleaned. I felt immediately comfortable when we arrived! This place has great vibes. We had an unforgettable weekend.

My girlfriends and I had a wonderful and restorative weekend away at Elizabeth’s cabin. We loved the decor, well stocked kitchen, and relaxing among the trees in the hot tub. Elizabeth was an excellent host and quick to respond. We also appreciated her local recommendations for wine tasting and hikes. Awesome gem in Camp Connell and would love to stay again.

If you’re looking for a peaceful nature retreat with friends and family—or a private, romantic escape to recharge with your partner—stop scrolling and book this place. You won’t find a better value, a more charming historic cabin, or a more thoughtful host near Truckee and Lake Tahoe. It was a one-of-a-kind stay we’re really glad we experienced.

Cabin was awesome. Cozy and comfortable. Modern upgrades and well stocked to enjoy an escape to natural, everything you need. Hot tub under the stars accentuated the experience. Walls of windows allowed full experience. Nestled in the redwoods. Highly recommend a stay.

Stayed here for the last 2 days of our honeymoon after a busy week in Napa. What a perfect place to unwind, relax, and get back to nature! The cabin was absolutely perfect for us and provided a great home base for anything in and around Lake Tahoe as it’s located pretty much central to everything around while still being secluded enough to not feel like you’re in a city. The neighborhood was super safe and quiet too; I left my wallet on the dash, doors unlocked over night accidentally, and nothing happened, nor would I be worried to start. Jolene was an amazing host, provided exceptional check-in/out directions, and fantastic local recommendations, and was absolutely un-intrusive. The cabin was fully stocked with quality stuff for everything we needed; plenty of towels, soaps, laundry detergent, etc. We plan on returning back here in a few months over summer and definitely over winter for some skiing. 10 out of 10 would recommend to anyone looking for a luxurious, quiet,Tahoe get away!

Peggy is an amazing host! She was helpful, responsive and joy to interact with. She was very welcoming to me and my dog Cuban. Very dog friendly place which was nice to have. The place is peaceful and tons of room to room around with your pet and different spaces to relax in. We will definitly come back!

We had a great stay! The cabin was very clean and thoughtfully designed with lots of details that make it feel like a high-quality retreat, especially for families. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked—much better than most rentals—and made cooking easy and enjoyable. The cabin stayed warm overnight even without turning on the heat, and the WiFi was reliable enough for a work video call. Beds and mattresses were comfortable, and there were plenty of towels and blankets for everyone. One thing to note for families with young kids: I wouldn’t recommend it for toddlers, as the stairs are steep and the heater is floor-mounted. Fortunately, our child was old enough for it not to be an issue. A small tip: the melamine plates are very cute, but not microwave-safe—learned that the hard way! Would definitely recommend and stay again.

We really liked this place. Rural, very scenic. The cabin is very well constructed and well maintained. Nice step-in shower. Good kitchen. Bring food. There aren’t many dining choices nearby. The trading post at Dutch Flat is surprisingly well stocked, which is a good thing because the mini-mart/gas station at the Dutch Flat off ramp is the only other place around to get provisions.

We had a great stay at Robert’s place! Great location close to all the businesses in Foresthill. The cabin was clean and cozy and nicely decorated, we enjoyed sitting out on the deck. Would recommend if you are looking for a place to stay in Foresthill!

This wonderful little cabin was a great place to spend a getaway weekend with my son. The peaceful, wooded surroundings provided the relaxing backdrop I was looking for and my son was delighted with the wood burning stove. He discovered that the pine cones that were suggested as fire starters did a great job and he had a great time replenishing their supply from the woods around the cabin.

Lauren’s Airbnb was the perfect spot for our Yosemite trip. It’s about a 10 minute walk into town and there are amazing local restaurants. It is also an hour and half away from the Yosemite entrance. The place itself was very clean and cozy!

I stayed here with my pup and really enjoyed my stay. The cabin is very cute and cozy, I loved taking relaxing baths and walks around the neighborhood. I was able to explore arnold and get around easily too! Would love to come back!

This cabin is clean and checks all the boxes. Has all the basics. A quality stay. Had a terrific time.

Mark and Jacqueline have a beautiful home and property. It was spacious for our 3 families with small children. There were plenty of supplies to make our stay comfortable. The best part was being able to drive down to the river for a swim. We are already planning to book again. Thank you Mark and Jacqueline for the hospitality.

Great house in close proximity to Lovers Leap for rock climbing. We had been on a 2 week road trip and stayed at many different AirBnBs. I almost want to redo all the other one’s ratings because this is the only one that really deserved 5 stars. It’s a proper home as opposed to some clinical company-managed places that feel more like a hotel or a hospital.

The Cozy Cabin is exactly what you’re looking for if a peaceful, nature-centric relaxing getaway is on your mind. Where nature meets creature comforts. Can’t catch a fish in the creek? No stress, there’s restaurants within a 10min drive. Can’t build a fire? No worries, there’s a propane grill. Love being surrounded by nature BUT still enjoy a comfy bed and a hot shower? The cozy cabin has you covered. :) It is cozy—Some corners you might have to squeeze by (near the fridge) or duck your head (left side of bed). Quite dream-like the bed is on the soft side and raised at about 3ft from the floor (for anyone who might need this info for accessibility) but it didn’t take away from our experience. Generous and friendly owners/hosts, well-equipped and a connection to nature that you feel the moment you arrive (thanks to the cute greeting from the goats! Miss them already!!!) An hour drive from Roseville makes this spot one we’re soon to return too. Thank you Steve, Elizabeth, Angela!

We were pleasantly surprised to find the cabin just as in the photos with all the amenities that were described. Everything worked; the TVs had many channels to choose from, board games, complimentary smore's stuff, Keurig coffee, and all the cooking necessities were there including spices, oils and some food. All the propane tanks for the outdoor fire and BBQ were full, the showers were clean, the bathrooms were spotless and the appliances were all new or near new. It was like stepping into a cozy dream cabin and we felt so cared for and looked after. We can tell that Christine truly cares about her visitors considering the detail and care she puts into making sure we were comfortable. She provided a local attractions list that was extremely helpful in locating fun things to do nearby and she even had a free entrance/parking pass for Jenkinson Lake!!! All in all a wonderful and memorable experience. We will be planning a winter escape to her cabin soon.

A Perfect Stay! From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the seamless check-in process and Maria’s warm hospitality. The space was immaculate, tastefully decorated, and equipped with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The location was ideal—peaceful yet conveniently close to local attractions like Jenkins lake. I especially appreciated the private location of the house, its views, and all the games there. Communication with Maria was prompt and helpful throughout my stay. She went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed. I highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway. I can’t wait to return!

Absolute perfection! A quaint country cottage on shared acreage but you are welcome to enjoy/use the main house and grounds. Quiet, charming, nicely kept up with a very much appreciated gift basket, morning coffee and mini fridge in room. Loved the fire stove to keep the night chill out and add a romantic ambience. Will definitely return if ever in need of a stay in the area - can't recommend enough!

We had an absolutely amazing time at Madison’s place! The location was exactly what we were looking for and matched the photos 100%. Jenkinson Lake was just around the corner and well worth a visit, exceeding our expectations. Being such a remote area, it was really quiet and peaceful at night, we felt very safe at all times and really put the fire place to good use, enjoying the scenery and nature all around us. At night we later switched off the lights outside and in the dark, clear and open sky could see a star filled sky and even the faint shimmer of the Milky Way on the horizon - something that is impossible to ever see from more crowded areas with all the city lights around. Neither of us wanted to leave when our stay came to an end, so I can comfortably and without a doubt say we had a 5/5 star experience all around. Looking forward to the next opportunity of staying at this place again!

Shannon’s place was lovely. Great space indoors and out for 4-6 people and our huskies. Beautiful redwoods in the yard and visits by turkey and deer. Close driving distance to restaurants. Shannon’s place is very well equipped with anything you would want or need for dining, sleeping and relaxing. I always appreciate a property that feels like someone’s home rather than a hotel. Shannon’s place was exactly that. Shannon is a very responsive, communicative and helpful host! I should add that there are great vineyards and the lovely Sly Park nearby that we weren’t able to explore because we were in the area for a graduation in El Dorado . Would love to come back, stay st Shannon’s & explore more

Nice house in forest setting close to hwy 50 and El Dorado National Forest. Private but a little too close to the highway. You can hear traffic if sitting outside but not from inside and you can't really see the cars because of all the beautiful trees surrounding the house.
