My daughter and I travel around to fishing tournaments and this place was one of the top for what we look for, quiet, close proximity, dog friendly. Perfect place to relax both before and after the tournament!

John made check in super easy after a long day exploring! Directions were very easy to follow and I was ecstatic when I realized the horses were right next to the property. We got there late but were able to check out the quaint mercantile that’s open 24/7, so many unique items to see! Based on the honestly policy you can purchase items if you’d like, felt right at home. Beautiful scenery and landscape. I woke up to find yellow birds perched on the fence line and the horses welcoming the day. I would certainly stay here again! Wish we had more time enjoy!

So you want some peace and relaxation? Stop looking and book this cabin. Everything is exactly as described and shown in the photos. The drive to the cabin had me so happy with its beauty and then I pulled up to the cabin and just wow. It did not disappoint. I immediately texted Kara to let her know I was in heaven. The lovely welcome gifts were such a thoughtful touch. The instructions for the house along with nearby recommendations was emailed to me but there was also a copy right as you walked in if you needed it which was great! The suggestions she gave were perfect! The town we went to was only 15 minutes away and had pubs, a diner with a GREAT breakfast, grocery stores and an awesome ice cream shop. On the last day there we took the walk to the Mt Zion Pub. Be aware it’s mostly on a gravel road with some good hills. About 2.2 miles and the burger at the pub was earned and GOOD! Great cabin. Peaceful and gorgeous. Mental Reset achieved!

Cub Creek was perfect for our family- plenty of beds and great seating at the kitchen and couches. Our adult-ish sons and I enjoyed the pool table. We were in town for graduation and this was a great stay for us. Wish we had been able to sit and enjoy coffee on the patio before we left! Only con- bring water to drink. The water is really mineralized and tastes and smells unpleasant. Can’t be helped much so not their fault! Loved the location and the arrangements. Some friends and I met at Stars Hollow for a girls’ weekend, and it was such a peaceful and restorative time. We hiked, floated on the pond, enjoyed the beautiful scenery, had a campfire, and more. The suites are beautiful and so we’ll taken care of — we will be back! Thank you so much, Dan and Penny, for your warmth and hospitality!

After a long work trip, it was so nice to be able to go to Joe’s place and have a peaceful and relaxing home to be in. The house is surrounded by absolute serenity and peacefulness just far enough away from the heart of Ames that you feel like you’re out in the middle of the country but close enough where you can easily get into town and have all of the amazing restaurants experiences that you can have there!

We loved the peaceful atmosphere and the animals! The area was beautiful and we enjoyed sitting around the fire pit and enjoying the sunny spring days :)

Everything was exactly as described. My step son loved it and we made great memories. I would stay again.

We loved our stay at this cabin. There was a lot of thought, effort, and craftsmanship went into designing and building it. Everything felt intentional, high-quality, and welcoming. The surroundings were also beautiful. We saw all kinds of wildlife: deer with fawns, a woodchuck and her babies, a fox with a her kit, and countless bird species. I also caught a few trout at a nearby stream. There were hiking trails and a small stream on ther property. It was the perfect place to unplug and relax Highly recommend.

I will start off by saying this cozy place was far more beautiful than the photos gave it credit for. It was clean, super cozy, comfortable. I have arthritis and always dread sleeping in beds that aren't mine, but I slept like the dead here. The farm was so amazing. Absolutely spectacular views. We loved seeing the chickens every morning. The farm-fresh eggs as a welcome gift were so appreciated and made a great first breakfast. The donkeys braying were honestly my favorite way to wake up each day, but if you don't like the noise, ear plugs were very kindly provided. This BnB was absolutely magical. It was such a lovely way to come down from busy days full of adventure. It felt like coming home. Pamela and Donn were fantastic hosts... Helpful, responsive, and so friendly. They made a good trip great.

Nice property, communicative and clear check-in, open floor plan that was nice for my sister and I. Steep stairs to the upstairs FYI (was a little tough with kids). We had a nice stay!

We really enjoyed this place! It was nice to be able to relax here each evening, just sitting on the deck or by the fire pit. The house was nice and the beds were comfortable. We hope we can stay here again sometime!

Our stay at the cottage felt like a true retreat from the city. It honestly was more than we expected. The peaceful surroundings were like no other property we’ve stayed in. The home itself is beautifully built, thoughtfully decorated with all the needed modern amenities and spotless. The hosts were also welcoming and kind. We do hope to return!

This cabin at Sunset Hills Bison Ranch was everything we could ever ask for! The cabin was well kept and we felt right at home. Our family loved walking around and seeing the bison. Also, we loved that our dog was able to go with us! He loved it too! Definitely recommend and would love to visit again!

I couldn't have picked a better Airbnb for my husband to stay while on the road for work. Rose has been a blessing to our lives. Her place is the perfect home away from home. Rose was amazing to my husband and myself when I went to visit. The place is so peaceful and nice to get out of the hustle of traffic. We will continue to stay at Rose's as well as keep in touch with her. Such a wonderful woman! Thank you Rose for taking such good care of your renters.

This is the most beautiful and comfortable airbnb We have stayed in a rural area! the house is pristine, full of beautiful decorations and details, everything worked well, the full kitchen was a dream, the fire pit the surroundings, everything was incredible! We had a great conversation with Jeff about the magnificent new project :the barn across the street! Our family and gos had a wonderful and peaceful time! We hope to be back at another time! This was a beautiful little get away. It was so nice to be unplugged from the world and just rest in this restful spot. The hammocks in the trees were peaceful as you heard the birds chirp and watch them fly around. The lighting at night was beautiful perfect for walking the area and getting to the conservatory. Would recommend to friends for a weekend getaway. And will be back in the fall when the leaves are changing colors! Hosts were friendly and gave perfect recommendations for us to eat at as well as visit. Will be back!

We had a wonderful stay at the Cozy Cabin! Jim was extremely friendly and helpful. The property was beautiful and we enjoyed our time out on the water. Would love to return for another peaceful getaway in the future.

The cabin is beautiful and in a great location. We loved exploring the trails and cave. The hot tub was also amazing! We would definitely stay here again!!

This is a beautiful home with all amenities as described. It’s a bit of a walk into town but otherwise fine. Love the fact Alexa everywhere which was useful for music and timings. We have 2 grown up kids, so 4 adults and 1 bathroom was a stretch at times. Mellisa answered my queries almost instantly. Thoroughly recommend a stay here !!

Robert was very kind. we hosted a wedding here and were stressed about the venue and he helped ease our anxiety. it’s a beautiful place with lots of bedrooms. it was so peaceful there. i recommend this place if you need a peaceful get away!
