We loved our stay. Everything was as described and shown in the photos. Great location, easy to walk to town and restaurants as well as numerous hiking and nature nearby.

Janet was a wonderful host. She was incredibly responsive and made the weekend so easy. We loved her place, too!

Donna was super responsive and helpful and the place was incredibly comfortable, clean, well stocked and beautiful. I would 100% stay here again. It has everything you need and is so peaceful and quiet but close to town!

Suzanne’s cottage is super charming and comfortable! The grounds are gorgeous, the bed is comfy, and there were so many thoughtful touches. She knew it was our anniversary and left a bottle of champagne for us in the fridge, we had our kids with us, so she left smores makings. It’s definitely a small space, but we were there for just one night, and it was fine for our family of 4 with the kids sharing the futon. The new a/c unit kept us cool inside. We had fun watching frogs on the lily pad pond and feeding the chickens. This was a great spot for an overnight getaway, and we will definitely be back!

I’ve stayed in several BnBs in this area. This was the best! We made good use of the fully equipped kitchen. Everything felt new and clean. The location was beautiful and peaceful with deer coming by every morning among the pines. The number and variety of items ranging from medicines to hair accessories, and lotions and soaps was an unexpected surprise. Nice personal touch. Looking forward to my next stay with Kathryn.

Thank you, Darla, for hosting us in your very cute cottage. We were very comfortable, and were able to rest after having played pickleball for so many days in a row. It was quiet and relaxing, and yet we ended up finding another pickleball court within walking distance, and enjoyed playing there too. Parking was easy and simple, and the cottage was the perfect size for 2 adults. Huge plus to having a laundry/dryer inside! Overall, great place to stay!

This Airbnb guest house and our hosts were by far the best we’ve experienced to date. The room was exactly as listed and the views even better than we thought. It had everything we needed and then some. Desiree made us a glorious zucchini cake and brought us some delicious local fruit and fresh flowers. She and her husband were very responsive and at times would offer us extra amenities depending on where we were going. The room/bathroom was very clean. There was outside seating for the amazing views. Once you turn into the private properties to get to the house, a little bit of your drive will be on gravel. Not an issue. It seems remote but it’s close enough (about a ten minute drive) to the restaurants and main highways. I couldn’t recommend this place enough. Thank you Desiree and Tom for a great stay!

Every detail, from the distinctive architecture and thoughtfully chosen furnishings to the eclectic artwork and inviting book collection, reflects the character and creativity of this unique property.The kitchen is beautifully organized and stocked with artful dishes making even simple breakfasts feel special. After exploring the charm of Nevada City and hikes, the spacious main bathroom has a spa like bathtub which was the perfect way to unwind. Nestled among the trees, this home really mirrored the creative spirit and natural beauty of its surroundings. Julie and Richard were gracious, responsive hosts who clearly put a lot of care into both the home and their guests’ experience. If you’re fortunate enough to stay here, consider yourself lucky.

Wonderful host, location, and space. Clean, quiet, and convenient to the shops and attractions of Grass Valley. The stairs to the third-floor bedroom are very steep and not suited to anyone with balance or mobility issues, but we found the whole place and experience to be delightful. Highly recommend.

This experience exceeded our expectations! Wendy and Richard are the best hosts we have encountered, the space is top notch and well appointed, the view from the balcony is exquisite…close to markets, shops, and great restaurants. If you like to bike like we do, this location is only a short drive to the American River Bike Trail, which is a Class 1 trails/no cars, for 32 beautiful miles one way! We were sad to leave, but will be back again!

Ivy was a welcoming, flexible, and communicative host. The place is simple but cozy and has all the basics covered. Spare toiletries and essential oil diffuser were a nice touch. It's also in a great location -- easy walk to downtown where we enjoyed live music on Friday night and delicious food. Most importantly, it was just a quick 10 minute drive from all the beautiful outdoor activities Auburn has to offer - climbing, hiking trails, and river swimming. Would totally come back!

Absolutely a lovely place to stay…the pics don’t do it justice. The high ceilings make it feel spacious and the design is impeccable. Everything has been thought through and carefully considered to make your stay feel truly luxurious as well as eminently functional. It’s not enough to say the lighting is dimmable; the fact that all the architectural details of this space are appropriately lighted and give the perfect ambience for relaxation is just one small detail among many details that add up to a superlative stay. Everything is so clean, neat, and well organized it feels brand new and each item in the description is all that and more…Please take time to read the other reviews for Ruby’s beautiful space. When you choose to stay here you won’t be disappointed, you’ll say ‘Wow! Excellent choice!’ I will definitely stay again anytime I need to travel to the Sacramento area. Very nice space. My family grew up in this area so it was close to our reunion. Very nice space, clean and the host were very helpful and welcoming. We’re very satisfied with our stay the bed is very comfortable. My only issue was the well pump was running at 3am our last night this woke us up. Being in the forest we expected silence, totally ok because we took off early and missed all the holiday traffic. Definitely worth a visit, home is very beautiful and has everything needed to feel comfortable. The hosts are very welcoming and friendly. We will be back soon.
