This is the third time we stayed here. The location is quiet, with beautiful trees and the steady sound of rushing water nearby. The actual sleeping quarters are compact, but provided all the essentials. They host a generous breakfast in a spacious room with a pool table and a nearby hot tub. We plan to keep coming back.

Diane is wonderful, just like her tranquil garden and home. She was a great hostess and the accommodations surpassed my expectations. I enjoyed every minute at her home, from the peaceful bedroom space to the lovely hot tub on the balcony deck. Truly a great experience and so close to amazing Nevada City.

My friends and I stayed here for my birthday weekend and had the best time! The house was clean with plenty of space. Sarina was a fantastic host and very responsive when we needed her. We even got to meet her and her dogs! It was pleasant to put a face to the name. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone.

We had such an incredible vacation and so much of it was due to feeling like we were at "home", even before we walked in! Eric gave so much excellent information prior to our trip and touched base with us several times before we headed to Tahoe. Hands down the most responsive, easiest to talk to host we've ever had! The home was perfect. We planned on traveling with another family, which is why we chose Eric's house - it is two homes in one, with an interior door by the front-door entry that could be closed and locked to separate the two completely. Perfect for two families! Sadly our friends ended up not being able to go, so we literally only used the 2nd floor "main" home. The beds were super cozy and fluffy, the carpet in the bedrooms was lush and clean, and the kitchens and laundry rooms (yes, plural!) were stocked with everything you need. Location was PERFECT for Northstar. It was super quick getting there and on the mountain. Thanks Eric for a lovely home away from home!

We, and our two oldest grandchildren thoroughly enjoyed our time at Rich's place. It was very secluded, serene and beautiful. Rich is very welcoming, friendly and accommodating. Our granddaughters were thrilled with seeing the cows, the trails, flowers and especially Bibi, Rich's very friendly and loving dog. They asked us a couple times when we were out and about if we could go back and hang out at the property. The coffee and breakfast Rich prepared were delicious and filled us up and helped get us ready for a day of exploring. the area. Rich is very knowledgeable about the area and has so many interesting stories as well as pointing you in the direction of a great place to go see or a great place to eat. The living space, couches and beds were all very comfortable. Plenty of games to play and magazines and books to read. We all look forward to the next time we are able to stay at Three Sisters Ranch and hear more about the area, hike the trails and enjoy Rich's company.

Stunning property! Shira is an absolute gem and makes you feel right at home from the very beginning. Her home, dogs and husband were wonderful. We were in town for a friend's wedding, the location was perfect! The hosts were kind and helpful and really go the extra mile to make your stay comfortable. Wonderful breakfast and a super comfy bed! 100/10 recommend staying here.

My husband and I had a comfortable stay in this beautiful home in a peaceful setting. We felt completely welcomed by Katherine and her husband. We appreciated coffee and light breakfast each morning in their lovely dining room and enjoyed the flower filled patio as well.

A beautiful setting, quiet and bucolic, and close to local wineries and sweet Auburn. Check out Pour Coffee near by. A great stop over on the way to Tahoe or Nevada City if you are coming from the Bay Area.
