Family-friendly vacation rentals in Pistoia

Unser Aufenthalt war ein Traum. Francesca und Francesco haben einen wunderbaren Ort geschaffen, sind sympathische Menschen und tolle Gastgeber. Wir wurden herzlich begrüßt und haben alle nötigen Informationen erhalten. Vom ersten Moment an haben wir uns zuhause gefühlt und konnten das liebevoll gestaltete Gelände frei erkunden und auch in Privatheit genießen. Auch der Kontakt zu anderen Gästen war angenehm und respektvoll. Die Räume sind rustikal und geschmackvoll eingerichtet und versprühen einen besonderen Charme. Der Ausblick ist atemberaubend. Die Anfahrt zur Poderracio ist entsprechend abenteuerlich (Serpentinen und enge, holprigen Straße). Alle Produkte wie z.B. der Frühstückskorb sind super lecker und von hoher Qualität . Zusätzlich haben wir von Francesca frisch geerntetes Gemüse (Zucchinis, rote Beete, Zwiebeln und Knoblauch) bekommen. Während des Aufenthalts wurden wir zum gemeinsamen Pizzabacken in den Privaträumen eingeladen und genossen einen wunderschönen Abend. DANKE!

Massimo beschreibt den Weg zur Unterkunft sehr gut, das Häuschen liegt etwa 20 min südlich von Florenz mitten in den Weinbergen, sehr ruhig und malerisch in den toskanischen Hügeln. Wir waren zu dritt bei Massimo und uns hat es an nichts gefehlt! Ob Stadtbesichtigung von Siena& Florenz, Weinverkostung oder einfach die Ruhe am Haus genießen: für alles das perfekt geeignet! Das Haus ist typisch toskanisch, Massimo und Beatrice haben viel Arbeit reingesteckt um ihren Gästen einen authentischen Aufenthalt zu bieten: trotzdem aber modern mit Klimaanlage- im Sommer geht’s auch kaum ohne! Vielen Dank für die tolle Zeit!

I can not say enough about Alessandra and her amazing land! It was the most magical place we have ever been to. We are taking a 3 month trip, hitting up 21 cities in Europe and this is BY far the best! She was so kind and took us shopping and back to our train! She was always there when we needed her.thank you Alessandra we will see you next year!

This was such a beautiful stay in Tuscany. When our family arrived it was magical to them to be in Beatrice’s home and countryside. It’s full of history and breathtaking views.

Great house with amazing views. We used the pool a lot as it was very hot during our stay. Francesco and Serena were very nice and helpful. They booked a cooking class for us, which I highly recommend. The location is very convenient for visiting Florence, as it only takes about half an hour by train from Rufina.

Unser Aufenthalt bei Giacomo war sehr schön. Wir waren eine Gruppe von 6 Personen und hatten gut Platz im und um das Haus. Die Küche hatte alles relevante dabei, die Betten sind bequem und der Garten mega gross und schön. Giacomo und seine Eltern sind sehr nette Leute, wir haben sogar einen Kuchen erhalten, welcher sehr sehr lecker war. Giacomo hat uns auch Tipps für die Umgebung gegeben und ging auf unsere Bedürfnisse ein. Wir danken Giacomo und seinen Eltern für den schönen Aufenthalt!

Abbiamo passato 3 giorni fantastici nella villa di Daniele, immersa nella tranquillità della campagna toscana. Eravamo in 9 amici e la casa è stata perfetta per il nostro soggiorno: spaziosa, pulita e dotata di tutti i comfort. La piscina e la jacuzzi esterne sono state le protagoniste delle nostre giornate di relax, mentre la sauna interna ha aggiunto un tocco speciale alle serate. Gli spazi comuni sono ampi e ben organizzati e il portico esterno è ideale per fare una grigliata. Daniele è stato un host impeccabile: sempre disponibile e attento, ci ha fatto sentire subito benvenuti. Un soggiorno che consigliamo senza esitazioni, perfetto per chi cerca pace, comfort e un bel posto dove condividere momenti con gli amici.

Wir hatten einen traumhaften Aufenthalt! Die Unterkunft liegt wunderschön, hoch über Pistoia – etwa 30 Minuten entfernt – in den angenehm kühlen Bergen, was bei den sommerlichen Temperaturen ideal war. Auch wenn die bekannten Städte der Toskana etwas weiter entfernt liegen, war die Lage für uns perfekt. Daniele und Alessandra waren sehr gastfreundlich, jederzeit erreichbar und gaben uns viele wertvolle Tipps zur Umgebung. Pistoia haben wir in dieser Zeit sehr ins Herz geschlossen. Die Kombination aus der ruhigen, naturnahen Lage des Airbnbs und dem lebendigen, charmanten Stadtleben war für uns genau richtig. Die Umgebung ist ideal für Motorrad-, Roller- oder Fahrradtouren: kurvige Bergstraßen, herrliche Aussichten und viele kleine, alte Dörfer, die zum Entdecken einladen. Grazie !! What a wonderful week we had with Luca and Emilia at the tower! It was amazing to see all the pictures in real life - it was even more amazing in person. And the garden is just magical. I had no idea the beauty of the pool area. Laying by the pool and listening to nature we felt transported to a simpler time. To top it off Luca was so delightful. We enjoyed his company and hearing more about the story of the tower and the town. I would recommend this as a stop on anyone’s vacation to Italy. Wonderful hosts in a magical setting!

Giuliani is a wonderful host who made us feel as if this slice of paradise was our home, too. The location, the meticulously restored home, the views all make for the ultimate Tuscan experience. But Giuliani and her husband bring it all together with their warmth and attentiveness. It was a tough place to say goodbye to — for now. If you are looking for a Tuscan experience, this is it. And remember to ask for the hosts’ home-cooked meal. It is a culinary experience in the very best sense.

Our stay at the small cottage was amazing. If you want some peace and quiet in a beautiful rural area, this is the place to go to. It is very private and the best thing for us was the private and completely fenced garden. Our dog could roam free all day with no worry of losing him in the very large garden, which had plenty of nice sitting areas. The outdoor kitchen was well equipped with a bbq and stone oven. The view of the horses and foal in the field next to the garden made our stay magical.

Lola’s place was great, and an easy walk to everything, yet in a quiet neighborhood. The backyard is beautiful and peaceful when we wanted to get away from all the tourists. Lola was also the best host we’ve experienced thru AirBNB. She took care of a minor problem immediately and was always checking on us and giving us good recommendations. Highly recommend her place.

Don’t hesitate to book this beautiful Airbnb which was thoughtfully restored to reflect the history of the area. You won’t want to leave. We explored Certaldo Alto and Montefioralle- both amazing sites. The pool area was perfection and we couldn’t get enough of the landscape! Couldn’t stayed a week!!!

What a magnificent place to stay. Very peaceful and in wonderful surroundings. The dinner that Anna put on was amazing and we met some lovely fellow travellers. As the temperature was hot while we were there the pool was an added bonus. I would highly recommend this place. Anna is such a delight to deal with.

Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Tuscany! The house was clean, well-furnished and had everything you could need. It is also perfectly located for exploring Pistoia, Pisa, Florence and wider areas in Tuscany. Communication with the hosts was excellent, with Mark and his partner providing a very warm and hospitable welcome. Arranging check-in was very straight-forward and we always felt that they were on hand if needed. We would definitely return again in future and recommend to others 😊

Daniela e Michele sono stati super accoglienti e gentili! Ci hanno coccolati con le loro prelibatezze. Abbiamo cenato due sere in agriturismo ed e' stato meraviglioso, tutto molto squisito, prodotti biologici coltivati da loro, dagli antipasti ai primi piatti e per finire i dolci , ottimo anche il vino ! La colazione e' una prelibatezza mattutina! L'appartamento e' adatto per due persone con un bambino, pulito e confortevole! Grazie di tutto torneremo presto e con il caldo potremmo godere della splendida piscina e dell'area verde!

We had an absolutely amazing time at Daniela’s place - it was clean, had stunning views and was quick access to Pisa, Florence & Siena. Beautiful pool and lovely terrace with amazing views and sunsets. The kitchen also had everything we needed, including local olive oil and pasta & local wine as a welcoming gift. Daniela went above and beyond providing us with lilos and a pump for the pool too. Overall, 10/10 stay!

Staying at Lorenzo and Eva’s place was an absolute highlight of our trip to Tuscany! The location was exceptional, it offered breathtaking views of the Tuscan countryside that we’ll never forget. Just a short drive away is the charming town of Vinci, where you’ll find everything you need to make the most of your stay. The wine and olive oil tasting experience is an absolute must—it added such a special touch to our visit. The property itself is beautifully maintained, with excellent amenities that made our stay comfortable and relaxing. Lorenzo and Eva were both very professional, and their communication was always prompt and helpful. We can’t wait to return to Vinci and would love to stay at their place again!

The perfect place to explore Chianti each day. We stayed 5 nights and it was just perfect. Great amenities, beautiful pool, bbqs and lovely areas to sit and enjoy the views and the sunset. Always fabulous to come home to. Our upstairs apartment was spacious, comfortable and all we required with a lovely view. We had great recommendations from Silvia which we followed up on. Great to have restaurants nearby. Reasonable- highly recommend.

Anna was a fantastic host, who treated us with the upmost respect and kindness. While her place is a bit difficult to find at first, once you're there, you're in one of the most beautiful scenes we've seen during our time in Italy. Also, it was close enough that we were still early able to travel into Florence each day we were there. Anna was so nice in providing us with breakfast each morning, which included apricot jam from her fruit trees and homemade bread. We would recommend this spot for anyone looking for a quiet place to stay outside of the busy city.

Alessandro nous a accueillis avec beaucoup de patience et de gentillesse. Un hôte très amical que nous prendrons plaisir à retrouver une prochaine année. Ma fille le remercie d'avoir retrouvé son doudou après notre départ, ennième preuve de sa gentillesse.

While Paolo was away, our check-in and communication with Bruno went very smoothly. The property is absolutely stunning. The view of Sam Gimignano as you swim in the pool was something out of a movie scene. The property has surrounding olive trees and vineyards seen right from the window of the airbnb. This particular room is in a tucked away corner of the property and feels very private. Bed was comfy. Washing machine and drying racks, as well as a grill were plusses. Many agriturismos offer a dinner for an added fee, and we were a little disappointed that the dinner (in the past offered by Paolo’s neighbors) was closed during our stay. However, in fending for ourselves, we did appreciate the mini fridge and microwave, and loved eating our dinner right on the private table outside the room door. Also, you do have to clean out your trash at the end of the stay. Price felt right. Overall, would happily stay again and will be forever dreaming of the view.

Ons verblijf bij Silvia was zeer aangenaam...zeer rustig, mooie tuin, zwembad,...ook Silvia, haar man, en kinderen waren uiterst vriendelijk..en behulpzaam...mooie uitvalsbasis om alle omliggende grotere steden te bezoeken..we hadden 10 mooie verlofdagen in Empoli...zeker aan te bevelen..goede prijs kwaliteit verhouding ! !

Wir waren nun schon zum zweiten Mal in der Unterkunft von Elisa und Alessandro – und es war wieder einfach wunderschön und absolut erholsam! Der Ort ist eine richtige Oase, in der man perfekt abschalten kann. Elisa und Alessandro sind äußerst hilfsbereit und herzlich. Sie haben uns mit tollen Tipps für Unternehmungen und Restaurants versorgt, sodass wir unseren Aufenthalt rundum genießen konnten. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder und können diese Unterkunft nur wärmstens empfehlen!
