Our homey mountain retreat used to be my grandparents' place and has been completely renovated just recently. We wanted to preserve the snug and cosy traditional atmosphere with a combination of traditional furniture and a more modern almost minimalistic kind of interior. We kept parts of the traditional furniture and a beautiful collection of my granddad's handcarved portraits on the ground floor and combined it with bright wood and white on the first floor to leaven the atmosphere.

The bright studio with around 30 m² is on the ground floor of the Chalet Sonnenkönig on a sunny hillside in Piesendorf in the beautiful Pinzgau. From there it is only a 5-minute walk to the center of Piesendorf with restaurants, supermarket, pharmacy, bus stop, tourist office, etc. The ski areas of Zell am See and Kaprun (glacier), the Tauernspa in Kaprun, the Zell am See golf course are only a few minutes away by car. Fantastic apartment in the middle of the ski resort

The apartment is completely separated from the main house, with a separate entrance. It is in a perfect location between Kaprun (Kitzsteinhorn or Maiskogel) and Zell am See (Schmittenhöhe). Ideal for all winter sports enthusiasts and avid hikers. Also only 2 km to the Tauern SPA Kaprun and 10 minutes' walk to the swimming pool in Piesendorf. The apartment is new, modernly furnished and well equipped. Quiet but still central 2.5 km from Maiskogel - closest ski slope.

My friends and I had a great time in that accommodation!! The location was amazing only 10 minutes by car to get to great beaches at Zell am See and a great view to the mountains! The apartment was very clean and had a very good kitchen equipment so that cooking was also fun. Furthermore the communication was very friendly and helpful!! Thank you for the great time we will come back ☺️

The place is in a beautiful location. Lots of options for trips. We didn't miss anything in the accommodation. We felt really good here. We highly recommend it.

Good location for access to 3 ski fields. Well equipped, warm, clean and spacious. Felt homely. Great lounge with log burner for relaxing in evenings. Kitchen well equipped for cooking full meals. Genuinely big enough for 6 adults if you are happy to work around one bathroom!
