Our stay at Bom Rumo was fantastic, beyond our expectations. The owner Philip welcomed us warmly and told us stories of sailing, the old whalers, the local life, travelling and many other things that made us feel drawn into the azorean life and mentality in a way no one else could have done - it was móst inspiring! -The house is well concipated with nice rooms and terraces and also cosy common rooms were you feel like home, invites you to relax and explore, there is even a well tuned guitar and a piano. The breakfast was abundant and delicious, and the whole feeling was that of being very much welcome and very much at home. Thanks!!

The house is very well equipped and furnished. The terrace above the sea permits fine breakfasts and lunches..... The house is close to the beach of Faja. The little restaurant/grocery Rumar is very conveniently in the centre of Praia da Norte. Horta is at 30 minutes and airport at 15 minutes by car. A car is necessary. One is very kindly and efficiently welcomed directly at the airport....

My husband and I stayed at this accommodation for 4 nights in July and we were warmly welcomed from the first moment and got a proper last salutation the last night before the departure from the host, Philip. The house is brand new with all the necessary furniture and amenities that a traveler requires and more. You can sense the attention and love put into decorating it, while caring for the guests. The wonderful spacious patio and living room as well as the fully equipped kitchen makes you feel like you're coming home after a day exploring the beautiful island of Pico. Philip is very responsive and has all the answers to the different curious questions you might have about the island. It was definitely a great choose!

This is such a wonderful Airbnb, we wish we could’ve stayed longer. It’s the perfect vacation spot close to some outstanding restaurants. We also ate and slept well, recovered from jet lag quickly. The place is spotless, so comfortable. The shower’s fantastic, GOOD water pressure. Our hosts were available when we req’d anything. English is also spoken, we felt right at home. We really enjoyed being so close to the center of town & right next to a spa boutique...how convenient. Felipe is a fantastic host! Thank you very much 🙏🏼 We’ll be back!!

Stunning location!! One of the most beautiful Airbnb’s I’ve stayed. Peaceful setting of the most beautiful ocean views. We had a great time exploring Pico and Faial. Thank you for your kind hospitality. We look forward to another visit to the beautiful Azores!

Très belle vue, très apprécié les apéros sur la terrasse, jolie piscine (peu utilisée il fait encore frais en avril ), logement toutes commodités, l hôte sur place Assen est très disponible et proactif, avec de bons conseils, nous avons particulièrement apprécié. Points négatifs: le jacuzzi était hors service et la maison mal isolée c est humide (odeur dans une chambre les jours de pluie) Nous recommandons merci

We had an incredible experience. This home is gorgeous with stunning views. Cleide was so helpful and set up a guide for us to hike Mount Pico. Would highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay, the apartment was clean and tidy. The buffet breakfast was very good and the pool was a nice addition :) Definitely recommended.

Wir hatten einen super Aufenthalt in der Unterkunft und dass es die Möglichkeit des täglichen Frühstücks und einen Pool gab ist für ein Air BnB ein super Plus! Besonders der Nachbarort Lajes hat uns sehr beeindruckt und lädt mit seiner Promenade und den vielen kleinen Restaurants, sowie der wunderbaren Aussicht auf den Pico ein!

La struttura è di nuova costruzione, molto accogliente, bella e pulita. Lo staff è stato gentilissimo ed estremamente disponibile (avevamo esigenze particolari di check-in/check out e ci sono venuti incontro in tutti i modi). La colazione è eccellente. Molto raccomando!

Our hosts were amazing, very attentive and helpful. They provided us with a very cosy and friendly stay, making it feel like home. Great location and easy to find. Very clean and tidy with everything you may need! Breakfast was fantastic! The best place to stay on Pico Island :)

We truly couldn’t recommend a stay at Joe’s Place highly enough. First, the property is really lovely and homey - nice terrace and breakfast room, and our room was spotless and full of little things that made our stay more comfortable. It’s only a 15 min walk from the center of town, but it feels a little removed and peaceful. There’s a road being built nearby, but we weren’t disturbed at all by it. Second, the owners - Johannes and Claudia - were as friendly, professional, and accommodating as all the other reviews say. Just thoughtful, good people.

Wir waren leider nur 3 Übernachtungen hier, wir wären gerne länger geblieben... Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen, wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen. Alles war sauber und ordentlich, super Nette Gastgeber, super aufwändiges Frühstück :-) wir haben nichts vermisst. Das Zimmer war liebevoll eingerichtet, was besonders aufgefallen ist im Vergleich zu allen anderen Unterkünften, waren die vielen Ablagemöglichkeiten, wie Regale oder Vertiefungen in der Wand... Das war sehr praktisch. Die Lage: Sehr schön ruhig in einer dörflichen Umgebung gelegen, mal von ein paar Hunden nachts abgesehen ;-) Die Unterkunft eignet sich für Ausflüge auf der ganzen Insel, wenn man mit dem Mietwagen mobil ist. Restaurants, der Hafen und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind in 5-10 minuten fußläufig erreichbar. Wir haben viele nützliche Empfehlungen bekommen, Danke dafür! Es gibt eigene Parkplätze im Innenhof.

Wir wurden äußerst freundlich empfangen, die Unterkunft war super und wir haben sehr leckeres Frühstück bekommen. Wir würden jederzeit wieder die Unterkunft von Familie Staal wählen!
