Great place to stay with beautiful view and a great space outside for the kids to play

Absolutely loved our stay at Cliff House with Jacquline. Beautiful location, swimming pool was such a bonus for the children, they loved it! The grounds were fantastic, such a lot to explore, our children loved the chickens and climbing frame and the private wood was great for hide and seek. Jacquline was such a great, friendly host and gave us great advice about visiting York. She even arranged an Easter egg hunt for our children. We had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend.

Had a lovely Bank Holiday weekend at Salty Kisses with my family. The house was clean, well equipped and in a great location. Joanne was a very good host and emailed all the information I needed. Would definitely recommend.

Wonderful place to relax with friends. Really enjoyed the terrace and the views. Comfortable beds. A very attractive holiday park estate with a great feel. So close to the beaches and beach cafe. Richard very responsive and helpful. A perfect week.

The place was lovely, a short walk to the lovely beach was the main draw. A good location to explore nearby towns by car. The additional of the on site swimming pool was great. The house the comfortable and great space for the 4 of us. Andree was very friendly and knew if we needed anything we could get in touch. Thanks.

Great location! perfect for beach, dog walks and bus to Scarborough /Filey etc. if not driving. Caravan had everything we needed including dishwasher/air fryer/microwave and plenty of dishes/cups/glasses/ cutlery etc. Kim was a very responsive host. Situated near shop playground and pool it’s in ideal spot on the site. Car can be parked right across from caravan so easy to walk on grass to/from caravan.

Had a lovely stay here. Home is well equipped and cosy, a great location with beautiful views. Loved having my morning coffee by the river. The kids are already asking to come back next year.

The house was perfect for my 50th celebration with family ( 6 adults, 6 kids and one dog), the garden lovely, the hot tub was used many times by all and the pool was great. Huge living room to fit us all in while still feeling spacious. Great communication with our fabulous hosts, house has everything, would highly recommend and would come again.

Had a fantastic stay at this beautiful cottage. The cottage itself was beautifully presented, decorated and clean, great space indoors & outside, with all the amenities you’d need for the stay. The location was great, especially for activities and dog walks & the village itself had a lovely bar/restaurant and deli close by. We had such a lovely stay at the Dolittle Cottage. The house was clean, cozy, and exactly as described, but what really made it special were the thoughtful little touches. We were greeted with fresh flowers, and our kids were absolutely delighted to find toys waiting for them — such a kind and considerate gesture that made us feel truly welcome. Thank you for making our stay so comfortable and memorable.

Beautiful cottage. Great care had been taken with the decor, fittings and appliances and everything was in perfect working order. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and the bed was really comfortable. There was a lovely welcome message when we arrived and some delicious ginger biscuits were waiting on the kitchen counter. The cottage is ideally situated with just a two minute walk to the cliff top coastal path and a short drive to the RSPB Reserve at Bempton Cliffs where we achieved our goal of seeing puffins . I am so pleased I chose this particular property

Amazing stay! Ben was a really attentive host who was helpful and communicative. The house was spotless and very well equipped. The rooms were spacious and the sofa was so comfy!!! We were in Scarborough for a gig at the open air theatre and it was in the perfect position for the venue. We hope to come back again.

What a beautiful place to stay! So stylish and tasteful and full of character. The perfect quintessential Yorkshire stone cottage with roses over the door. There are lovely towns and villages a short drive away for pubs and restaurants. But the house is fully equipped for self catering and staying in to enjoy the tranquillity if you prefer. Everything was perfect. Thank you Helen for a wonderful stay!

Lovely place, property was very clean and private. Had some trouble finding the place as instructions and local signs not very clear. The key didnt actually open the front door but the patio doors instead, which was a novel way to enter and leave the property, but no issues doing so. Hot tub was clean and well maintained, bedrooms were clean and beds very comfy. Already missing the lovely views with a cold glass of wine on the patio.

Perfect spot to relax and unwind. The Spinney is beautifully furnished and plenty of room for 4. Rosie and her family are lovely.

The Nest was just what we needed after a particularly busy period we had experienced. Everything in it is just right - the decor is thoroughly well thought-out, the little details and touches were so coordinated and aligned, the welcome hamper was very welcome, and the hot tub was wonderful. Julie and Steve have literally thought of everything, and it is there to a very high quality and spec. Spotless and sparkling throughout, it was a very comfortable and relaxing place to unwind and rest. We will return one weekend soon.

We have stayed in a lot of Airbnb's and this accommodation was the best by far! It was spotlessly clean and all the fixtures and fittings were very high end. Excellently located to enable touring from Flamborough Head to Staithes and inland to the North York Moors. The view from the property was superb, looking towards the sea and Scarborough Castle and it was very peaceful. Angela and Richard were wonderful hosts and I felt that by the end of our stay we had become good friends. We highly recommend a stay here.

Wonderfully located right by the Minster, this apartment was great for our family.

A super cottage in a beautiful , peaceful location overlooking the river. The cottage was comfortable, well equipped and very spacious for 4 adults. Cara was a responsive and helpful host. The location is perfect for getting to Whitby, the NE coast or the North Yorkshire Moors. We walked into Whitby on the beautiful riverside path, accessible and only 35 mins. We happily recommend.

Thanks Laura and team for a wonderful stay! This is probably the best location for an air bnb in ainthorpe. Directly next to the only pub around and walkable to the Darby castle wedding location. The house was well equipped and clean. Perfect for a group of friends.

This place was perfect for us. 7 of us went down to have a nice long weekend and the place didn't disappoint. The house was in the perfect area and quiet and had stuff for everyone. I would highly recommend people to stay at this property if they have a group of friends or a large family, will be definitely coming back later on in the year or make a yearly trip. when we first visited the owners were helpful and pointed us to the correct places for the shops, supplies and places to go. The hot tub was an added bonus and the beds were so comfy we didn't want to get up.

We had the most wonderful stay at Wagtail Cottage. Beautiful surroundings and so peaceful. The cottage was spotless and we were left a thoughtful welcome hamper including much appreciated milk (in the fridge) for a cuppa after a long drive along with other lovely treats including some for our dog. The house manual was great giving lots of recommendations from places to visit to takeaways. We crammed a lot into our few days visiting the beautiful city of York, walking a very pretty trail from Rievaulx Abbey to Helmsley and back, Pickering and Whitby. All worthy of a visit. Communication with our host was excellent every time. Have nothing negative to say. Would definitely recommend and hope to come back in the future. Our little dog had the best time too.

From the outset, this stay was really pleasurable. We had a few queries and the team at Cliffestones were very responsive and helpful. Directions were clear and we found the property without any problem. The house was pretty much spotless when we arrived and the hosts had left us a nice welcome gift of some luxury chocolate biscuits. The property was very spacious, well kitted out and very comfortable. The kitchen, in particular was really well-equipped and we spent quite a lot of time in there, playing games, chatting and generally chilling. The beds were extremely comfortable and the quiet surroundings meant that everyone slept well. The garden was wonderful - very colourful and peaceful and as we were blessed with great weather it was a lovely place to relax during the day. We had visited the local pub, where the service was extremely friendly and the food was delicious. Basically, we couldn't fault this property. We had a perfect weekend and we will definitely be back.
