Cottage vacation rentals in Pensacola

Beautiful spot located within a 5 minute casual walk to the beach; in the middle of a bunch of great restaurants!

We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay for our family of 5. We’ve rented luxurious condos in the past but Greta’s place surpassed them with the super easy beach access, simple parking, and superb cleanliness! We had everything we could possibly need in the cottage. Also, having the beach chairs, umbrella, wagon, beach towels, & other beach toys was an added bonus, not to mention easy access in the under cottage closet. No hassle with anything here-true relaxation. The location couldn’t have been better for restaurants & activities. We can’t wait to return! Greta was a great host!

This was the most welcoming stay! Such a cozy place, you definitely feel at home! Kristiane & her husband were such wonderful hosts! They live right next door, we came across each other and it was such a pleasant encounter! Very clean space, clean bathroom & kitchen! We unfortunately did not get to use the pool, but we will definitely be back in the future and make sure to take a swim!

We’ve stayed in the Hammock Dunes community previously and always enjoy our stay. The condo is conveniently located on the beach, has covered parking, and is very spacious. It’s an easy drive to shopping and restaurants. It’s pet friendly (and our Yorkies love the place!) but isn’t run down like other pet friendly condos are. We can’t wait to return next year!

Everything was just as expected, our family was able to enjoy time outside and by the pool without worry. The walk to the beach was simple and quick. Will definitely be staying again!

Perfect place for an extended stay. Literally everything you could need within a 3-5 min drive. Kids had a blast at pool and the adults took full advantage of the $4 beer and $6 daiquiris at the Purple Parrot bar adjacent to the pool(which also has fantastic live music in the evening). The location is so close to the beach it's easy to go multiple times a day. There are lots of restaurants and beach shops to pass the time... all just a fun drive down road that runs along the beach. It did rain one of the days of our stay and we found tons of games in the living room cabinet to play. The house is very well stocked and has super comfortable beds. Plenty of extra pillows and blankets. Plenty of extra towels. Everything is very clean and the are appliances are nice. This property really is a fantastic place to stay.

Couldn’t recommend booking at Lisa’s place more. 10/10. Lisa was so friendly and hospitable. She went above and beyond for our family to ensure we were comfortable and well informed of all the resort amenities and entertainment/ dining around the surrounding area. Lisa was very prompt with n answering my questions and she was very accommodating. Everything about our stay was wonderful and we look forward to booking with Lisa again!

We just loved the condo , it was beautiful furnished and very well decorated, The bathroom was just beautiful Maureen was very quick to answer any questions that we had . She was also a very thoughtful host , it was so nice to find a bottle of wine and fresh flowers when we arrived We will definitely stay again

This is a great quiet place! Loved having the pool and tiki bar near by to grab a quick snack or drink. Very clean and friendly staff. Will be back for sure.

We loved the access to the beach and the Naval Air Museum. Good food in the area especially the Shrimp Basket on Gulf Beach off of Hwy 292 going toward Alabama, excellent fired shrimp. This location is easy to find and really quiet and well maintained.

REALLY NICE PLACE TO GET AWAY AND SPEND TIME WITH THE FAMILY FOR A FEW DAYS!

Highly recommend! We very much enjoyed our stay at this home- clean, stocked with essentials, comfortable beds, great backyard. There is a nice walking path not far from the house. The host was very friendly and responsive. I would stay here again, and would highly recommend for anyone.

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Mermaid Cottage, everything that is posted is accurate to include images. We have been coming to Pensacola Florida for years and usually stayed at the hotels so this was the first experience we had using Airbnb and due to Ella’s hospitality we will continue to use Airbnb when we travel. Ella was very responsive when I had questions. As new empty nesters our 2 dogs are like our children and it was amazing to bring them with us to share this experience. This couldn’t have happened without the opportunity Ella provided us to bring our pets. All in all this was an amazing experience, I would highly recommend the Mermaid Cottage and Ella if you are looking for the opportunity to enjoy Pensacola Beach.

I may be repeating myself over and over, but we LOVE this place! It is our favorite, everything about it and the location is perfect. This was our 2nd stay for vacation and will hopefully be our vacation spot every year!!!

This home is exceptional. Very comfortable living area, well equipped kitchen, and bedrooms conducive to restful nights! Our favorite spot was the screened-in porch for morning coffee and quiet evenings where herons and turtles appeared to entertain us! Also Donna, the host, was very attentive checking in to see if anything was needed! We look forward to staying there again when back in Alabama! We give this house a 5+!

This is our second time staying in the cottage, and we LOVED it again! My dogs and I walked in, and we felt right at home again this time. Everything was pristine, and it looks like I literally just shut down my own vacation home for a couple months and then came back. It has become my home away from home in Pensacola! In fact, I will reschedule a trip if Susan’s place is not available. That’s how much I love it! This cottage is SO well taken care of, and everything is extremely clean. Susan is incredibly helpful and friendly, and she is always responsive if needed. I’ll be staying again at least two more times this year with my dogs, and we truly can’t wait! Thank you, Susan, for another amazing experience! You really are the best!

We’re repeat visitors and our stay this time was just as lovely as the last. The Nest offers a cozy place to hang out, bed down, and base from. We love spending time kayaking the sound and watching for wildlife. Beaches, seafood, and all the Ft.Walton/Destin vacation fun is close by, but the Nest is homey and easily fit our family of four. Very grateful for laundry to wash bathing suits in between beach days!

We had an extremely enjoyable stay! The host was gracious and made sure our trip was memorable. I would recommend the cottage to any couple looking for a great place in Pensacola!
