Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Peninsula Township

I along with my two sons and grandson stayed at Annemarie's home for a few days over Labor Day weekend. The home was very clean and well equipped. Annemarie's home is located eight miles from downtown in a quiet neighborhood. Using the trail, you can bike the eight miles to the downtown area in approximately 40 minutes. We will definitely book Annemarie's home for our next visit to Traverse City.

WONDERFUL! Look no further. Best Airbnb in town. We absolutely love staying here. It checks every box: super clean, incredibly comfortable, and convenient - perfect location close to downtown Traverse City and just a short drive to so many great local adventures. Erin is an exceptional host. Thoughtful, responsive, and full of helpful recommendations. You can truly feel how much she cares about both the home and her guests. This was our second stay here, and it definitely won’t be our last!

Fantastic home! We loved everything about this place. Lots of space for our family of six. House was clean, stocked with lots of amenities. Linens, towels, board games, books, kitchen supplies.. We loved the beautiful view, deck, fire pit, dock, paddle board and kayak. Would definitely recommend and would love to come back!

We had a great stay! The house is in a wooded and private feeling lot. Lovely inside too with a well equipped kitchen. The porch is great for relaxing with coffee or a drink. We will definitely be trying to stay again.

What made this place so special was all the thought out little details our host included with our stay. The home was very clean and organized. Everything we needed was available. If we are ever back in Traverse City we would return to this little gem!

We were impressed by the comfort and welcome of the little red cabin. The hosts were wonderful, amenities plentiful and the cabin was cozy. We very much enjoyed the fire pit and the rocking Adirondack chairs. The outdoor space allowed us to soak up the sun and gain a quiet break from the city life. Easy to drive around this area + we really enjoyed our time spent at the cabin cooking meals and spending time with our dog (it was so amazing that there were bowls there for him). The location was perfect for us. We look forward to returning for another future visit.

The house was spacious inside and outside (fenced backyard and large deck) and worked well for our needs. Dog amenities like water bowls and towels definitely appreciated! Hosts are kind and responsive, an issue came up with coffeemaker and they fixed it right away. The walk out basement area is cute and also has some really cool features like infrared sauna!! Would stay again if back in the area.

This place was perfect! We were in town for a family wedding and couldn’t have asked for a better spot. Very clean and comfy and just a 10 second walk from shops, ice cream, and restaurants! Woulda definitely stay again! The homemade brownie mix was an extra special touch!

It was a beautiful setting. Attached to the winery but on the back side so we had privacy too.

My partner and I’s stay at Jeffrey and Holly’s suite was outstanding. The space felt incredibly homely, with cozy decor and thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. It was spotless and well-equipped with snacks, coffee, beach amenities, you name it - and we loved using their kayaks for exploring Silver Lake. They were friendly and provided smooth check-in instructions. The price for the area far beats any hotel we could have booked considering how comfortable, clean, and private the unit was. As other reviews said, mechanical noises and footsteps can be heard, but this did not bother us at all. We loved this unit so much, we will probably check the availability for our next trip to TC. This was hands down the best AirBNB we’ve ever stayed at. Highly recommend!

Very cute, great location, having a parking lot was nice since we all drove in separately!

Great location with a super host. Only small issues — no freezer for the ice pad we need for a knee issue and, the bed, though comfortable is insanely high — even with a step stool was tough for my five foot wife to get in and out of. Super thick mattress plus a couple inch topper. Incredibly well stocked and super clean. Parking was a breeze and the front deck was a real nice bonus. Wonderful experience.

We were in town for the Bayshore Marathon, and this was a great spot! Views of the Bay, walkable to downtown TC. Quiet street. Comfy and clean space. Thoughtful touches throughout. Highly recommend!

Great stay! The apartment was clean, cute, and in a super convenient location. Jim and cohost were very responsive and made everything easy, even with a last minute reservation. Would definitely stay here again!

Fantastic place to stay! It was exactly how the photos described it and had everything anyone would need for an overnight/week stay. I was extremely happy with this place :) beautiful and quiet beachfront was great.

The place is small but was plenty of enough space for the two of us. Location was okay, it was close to things but the area is a bit sketchy. The place was clean when we arrived and the host kept good communication. My only issue was the lack of amenities. There was nothing in the fridge (no condiments, or butter) or much in the pantry. other than that, it was a good stay.

We could not have been happier with our stay. The location is perfect and the accommodations made our young family feel at home. Just about everything was walkable, including Clinch Park, and the parking garage and path to the condo was stroller friendly. Would definitely want to stay here again the next time we’re in town. Natalia clearly has paid attention to every detail to make the stay relaxing and comfortable.

We had a great time during our visit to Traverse City and Jennifer’s condo at the Capri was perfect for our stay - close to Front Street and some our favorite places like Firefly, Rare Bird and The Parlor. Highly recommend!

Lovely condo for a long weekend in TVC! Walkable to all of the great spots in town. The condo itself is well designed, clean, and comfortable — perfect for a couple on a long weekend! Robin’s instructions were clear and helpful. We enjoyed our time and definitely would recommend this space. Thanks for having us!

Our young family of 4 had a fantastic few days in TC. The condo was perfect, small but extremely well laid out. Easy walk to the activity and restaurants down but far enough away for quiet evenings of playing board games and watching movies. Carrie was a great host, the check out instructions are so simple- admittedly I loaded the dash washer and failed to run it. Realized about an hour into our drive home (it’s literally the only checkout instruction, great execution by me)- Carrie was so kind when we let her know that I failed the one thing she asks us to do. Would 100% stay here again.
