Waterfront vacation rentals in Penetanguishene

I enjoyed a peaceful 2 weeks at this beautiful Airbnb! The setting is surreal surrounded by nature and a river! I had everything I needed and I enjoyed a few nights with a cozy fire in the wood stove. The bed and couches were very comfortable. The No Frills in Shelburne was a great grocery store nearby. Wendy was always very responsive and helpful. As clearly noted in the description, there is no cell service but not a big deal as there is wifi. I hope to be back again one day! A true gem!

Derek and Doreen were extremely friendly, responsive, and hospitable, everything in the suite and in the backyard was as shown, if not better. They even gave us a gift as we had mentioned our wedding day was the day prior, couldn’t recommend them and this place enough, we would book again in a heart beat, thanks for everything Derek and Doreen!

Such a beautifully decorated and well-appointed space for our last minute “mini-moon!” The apartment was spotless and had absolutely everything we needed, and then some. The thoughtful touches (robes, slippers, treats) were much appreciated. We loved the hot tub with the river view. Robert and Taurean were friendly and very responsive hosts! We would return in a heartbeat.

We had a wonderful stay with Catherine and Tom. The place was spotless and stocked with all the essentials for cooking, making it easy to feel at home. The location was perfect - just a short walk to the town dock and everything else we needed. Catherine and Tom were incredibly flexible and went out of their way to help us during some unexpected situations. They were generous, thoughtful, and always responsive to messages. Their local knowledge was invaluable, and they truly went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. We would highly recommend staying here! 10 out of 10!!

Sandra’s place is just like the pictures super cute, clean and private. The place has everything you need for a great stay. She’s very responsive to messages. It was our 2nd time enjoying her place and we’d look forward to booking with her again!

We had a fantastic weekend staying at Gerard’s place! It was just as described from the pics and Gerard provided very clear instructions which made checking in seamless. The place was very clean, spacious, and right on the water! There was also a ton of things to do including kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, board games, a gym with weights as well as a fully stocked kitchen. We had a great time and would definitely come back again in the future!

Great stay at the cottage! We were a group of 5 adults and 1 child. Though the start of the week was too windy and cool to enjoy the beach and water sports available, the cottage is comfortable inside for everyone to have space. The kitchen had necessary equipment, pots and utensils for cooking. There is also a lot of amenities closeby for groceries, etc. There is also a good pub in walking distance. The small beach has enough chairs for everyone to relax, and it's sandy so great for kids to play. Due to the winds in the first few days, it was a bit seaweedy. We also had a lot of fun searching for rocks. Keep in mind the water on the bay can be a bit chilly. She did have a kayak, canoe and paddleboard available to use, as well as some floats to use on the water.

we had a concert at Casino Rama and this was a great place to spend the night. it was very quiet, peaceful and close to the casino.

Evgenia's home was overall ABSOLUTELY STUNNING! From the beautiful water front views to the gorgeous amenities, my entire group was in awe of what was right in front of us. We had such an amazing stay, made even better memories and felt right at home during our stay. It was truly a great "home away from home" experience! We were so lucky to get the chance to feed the swans during our stay, we were shocked at the amount of wildlife that appeared thereafter. During our stay we were able to bring a boat & jet ski. We docked the jet ski at the property's dock and were able to launch the boat/jet ski at the Victoria Harbour in the area. Unfortunately we were unable to bring the boat to the home's dock due to low tide this year, but hopefully when we book again we can dock both at the house :) We would 100% recommend Evgenia's place for anyone looking for a quiet luxurious getaway with the most spectacular views!

We had a lovely stay. The place was even nicer than we expected. This is the best air bnb we’ve ever had. It was really private and really clean, which was exactly what we were looking for. They provided so many little things which just added to the overall experience. Its the small things that go a long way. The place was really open concept and just really well furnished. Gave a fantastic vibe. The hot stub was clean, private and lovely. You wont be disappointed whatsoever here. Thank you for being a fantastic host Rebecca.

We went to this cottage for a beautiful romantic weekend getaway and we were happy we got that. The owner of the cottage Necker was very kind and helpful, absolutely loved the place and there was plenty of water activities to do. It was easy to check in, communicate and plenty of peaceful vibes. Recommended 100%, please go visit this cottage it is very well worth it. P.S: we loved the character of the cottage with little artpieces and wall art from all over the globe 🌎.

Wonderful stay! Our host Dylan was very quick to respond and extremely accommodating. The home fit our large group comfortably. The home was spotless, beds were very comfortable and we appreciated all the little extras (lots of towels, warm blankets, coffees, teas, little treats) Hot tub was very relaxing and clean. Lots to do, we all enjoyed ourselves and we’re already planning our return stay!! 😊

Chelsea’s place was absolutely beautiful ! Upon walking in the house, the view of the water is breathtaking and did not get old each morning while sipping our coffees. The home itself was very homey, and a great wide open space for gathering with friends. Chelsea was super helpful when booking, made recommendations and was super responsive during our stay with any questions we had. I would highly recommend a stay here - can’t get much closer to being “on the lake”!

We had a lovely girls weekend at Nikole's place. The home is beautifully decorated, the beds and couches are very comfortable, the kitchen was well-stocked with cookware to make some meals at-home, and the backyard is so cozy and cute (we didn't use it because of the rain but it looked very nice). The place is on a quiet street but still centrally located that it was no more than a 10 minute drive to downtown Barrie. Would definitely recommend!

The condo was absolutely immaculate and we will 100% be coming back and staying at one of Jack's units and would love to have people come back with us! The amenities however at Friday Harbor were disappointing because the pool, hot tub and nature preserve were all closed. All of these things were the main reason we booked at Friday Harbor because we knew the water in Lake Simcoe would be freezing and having the pool and hot tub would make up for that. But, that is no fault of Jack's so he is still getting a 5 star rating ! The short walk to all the shops and restaurants was amazing and the Dirty Oar food and service was incredible. We would love to come back when everything is open! Thank you for being an amazing host !

Stephanie was wonderful and the space she has is so perfect! Love that there is main floor back door access and super easy to get in and out of the parking garage as she’s on the main floor. Will definitely stay again!

We had such a peaceful long weekend stay at Ana's! The location was perfect and exactly described; overlooks right into the marina, amazing restaurants just right down the steps and extremely quiet! We didn't hear a single sound from any of neighbours around us. The space looked even more beautiful than the pictures. My husband and I were shocked to see just how incredibly clean the apartment was; not a single speckle anywhere! We were welcomed by a lovely snack basket (which my husband devoured on the first night) and a bottle of wine. Even included amenities in the bathroom which was wonderful since I forgot our toothbrush. The bathroom was so cozy and such a lovely surprise to have a tub. We will definitely be coming back!

We had a great stay at this stylish comfortable condo in a nice neighbourhood. The condo itself is very clean and has everything,and more,than you need. The brita filter is a big plus ! Comfortable beds, luxurious linnen and a good washer an dryer made us not wanting to leave... Thank you Ron (and Anna)

My kids & I had a fantastic experience at this Airbnb. The space was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything I needed. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful, providing clear check-in instructions and great local recommendations. The location was perfect—close to everything, but quiet enough to relax. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

My boyfriend and I stayed the weekend, it was a great location, Joe was very responsive and friendly! We had only 1 concern with the bbq that was not clean, but it has been handled with effectively. Overall space was very clean, it was easy to find kitchen supplies, and other items in the house! A great location with stores, restaurants at a walking distance, and other attractions within a 30 minute drive

Immaculately clean, spacious, and Beautiful condo. It had everything we need and a few steps to the marina. Easy instructions to get inside and parked. I highly recommend!
