At the Bavarian Forest National Park

Relax after an active day in the national park with the whole family in this rustic and cozy place to stay on the edge of the forest. Throughout the year, the nature of the Bavarian Forest invites you to explore it. Hiking trails are right at your doorstep. Extended tours are just as possible as Nordic walking, snowshoeing in winter, or easy walks. Look for mushrooms in the fall and enjoy the snow in the winter. Cross-country ski trails are on site when there is sufficient snow.

Welcome to the Waldlerhaus in the Bavarian Forest. The house is a wooden log house from about 1810, which stands in a large garden with many fruit trees. We rent the first floor, whereby otherwise no other parties live in the house. There is a bedroom with two beds, and a bunk bed. The second room has a bed and TV. There is a kitchen-living room and a bathroom. In the area there are very nice small lakes, and the Bavarian Forest Nature Park as well as the city of Passau.

Relax in this special and quiet accommodation in an absolutely idyllic location. Enjoy the unique view at 800 m altitude into the Bavarian Forest and the Gäuboden. You can set off on beautiful hikes directly from the property. Particularly recommended are the Hirschenstein (with lookout tower, at 1052 m) and the idyllic Mühlgrabenweg. Here you can reach the peaks along a stream. There are also beautiful trails for mountain bikers.

Cozy cottage (67 m²) surrounded by Bavarian nature with its own garden. Quiet location, only 200 m from the lake – with dog beach and fishing (with permit). Ideal for holidays by the lake and holidays with dogs. In winter, perfect conditions for winter holidays & ski holidays, winter sports areas such as Sankt Englmar (about 100 km) are easily accessible. Thermal baths and an airfield are nearby.

Our lovingly renovated and well-equipped farmhouse awaits you in the Bavarian Forest. The Daxhaus is located in the middle of a small village called Schöllnach. In the immediate vicinity you will find everything an athlete's heart desires, e.g. cross-country skiing, skiing, hiking trails, Danube/Ilz bike paths, curling, tobogganing! From now on: Wi-Fi included!
