Cabin vacation rentals in Ötztal

We were a group of 3 families (8 people) with two children (4 & 9 years) and a dog. The hostess was very proactive before arrival and sent us good information, so you could find the place quickly and easily. Furthermore, the access was well cleared and easily accessible even without four-wheel drive vehicles! Upon arrival, we were very warmly welcomed and we received a short briefing. For any questions, the host was always there for you. The location simply invites you to come down and relax. Nevertheless, you are also quickly in the nearby village of See, where you can find restaurants, 2x supermarkets and of course the elevator. We felt super taken care of and would be happy to come back! You just have to see the home base!

Communication was mega from start to finish! First contact via AirBNB and totally The location is a dream, the amenities and flair really good! We didn't want to leave.

We were allowed to spend a week in the Herzerl Chalet in June and we are sure we will be back! The cottage is very lovingly furnished with details and very clean/ well equipped. There was enough wood/lighter for the stove/ hot tub. The kitchen was super equipped and there were enough towels etc. there. The contact with the alpine farmers is also very friendly and we were supplied with fresh milk every day and, on request, eggs/ pine liqueur. The hostess was always available and took us up to the huts once on arrival, which can be reached by car via a gravel road. For two people looking for a break from the hustle and bustle of the valley, the chalet is just the thing!

We had a fantastic stay at Roberto's. He's an incredibly friendly man. The house is cute and cozy. We had indicated that we would like to use the towels and that was no problem at all and there were more than enough towels ready for us. Thanks for this nice stay.

We had a wonderful week in this lovely chalet. Simone and Erich were very helpful and attentive throughout our stay. The space was carefully planned, and worked well for our party of six people. The enclosed balcony, and entrance area meant that the kitchen/dining area is free of clutter, and easy to use. The kitchen and utensils were all high quality, and this reflects the attention to detail the hosts have put into this chalet. It was completely renovated in 2019, and is in immaculate condition. It is located a short ski or walk from the Salober lifts. Grocery shopping was convenient on the ski busses, and we did not need to use our car. The Pfefferkornhütte has stunning views of the surrounding mountains and valley. There are no neighbors, which heightens the impact of the beautiful natural surroundings. The stars at night were stunning. We have skied from many chalets over the years, but this one is by far the best one we have ever stayed in.

What an absolute delight it was to stay in the cabin this week. Beautiful surroundings, a cosy, warm and beautiful cabin with plenty of space for our family of four. Lovely facilities and within walking distant of lots of great restaurants, a quaint little Christmas market and close to the sports centre where we spent lots of time ice skating, tobogganing and swimming. The host was helpful, very kind and couldn't have been more accommodating. Highly recommend to anyone planning to visit Seefeld. An unforgettable winter break.

Very cozy and clean accommodation, with everything you need for a few days of rest and tranquility. Winter sports and hiking opportunities at the front door. We felt very welcome and comfortable.

Staying at Roland’s chalet in the Dolomites was an unforgettable experience. The view was absolutely breathtaking—something that photos don’t fully capture. Every morning, we woke up to a stunning mountain landscape, and the peaceful atmosphere made the stay incredibly relaxing. The chalet itself had so much character. It was clean, comfortable, and had an authentic, cozy feel, with an old-school fireplace that added to the charm. Everything was well-maintained, and it really felt like a home rather than just a rental. The location was quiet and felt secluded, yet it was still accessible. Roland was a fantastic host—quick to respond, helpful, and made everything easy. This was a truly special place to stay, and it’s a spot that will stick with me for a long time.

We have now been to the cottage for the second time and were overwhelmed again: the view, the air, the animals - we would have liked to have stayed longer. Thank you!! We will definitely be back :))

Nice cabin at a beautiful location.

Very beautiful, cosy place in a lovely location! Nice stroll downhill to walk into the town with beautiful views but the walk back up can be hard after a long day of hiking - still very much worth it! Such a lovely, relaxing and spacious cabin :)

Our vacation at the mountain hut was wonderful. The cabin is very clean and really has everything you could need. You can start a hike directly from the cabin to the Kellerjoch hut (highly recommended) or walk 8 minutes down to the elevator, saving you 1-2 hours of walking distance. Michael and Marie were very nice and made sure that everything really fits and you feel comfortable with you. There are also tips from you where to eat well and what to do.

We spent three wonderful days on the Ögg! Great hikes and gorgeous views from the balcony. The place is lovely and great for unwinding. The communication with Christa was excellent. The two are very hospitable and helpful! We will be happy to come back!

We were allowed to be guests in Barbara's cottage for five nights. Although the weather was not quite as hoped, we enjoyed the time in Graslehn with Barbara and Franzl very much. The cottage is small, rustic and cozy and equipped with everything you might need. The surroundings are wonderful and you can hike endlessly. Barbara and Franzl are very friendly and helpful. All in all a very nice experience and a full recommendation :)

There is really nothing left to be desired – from the amenities to the location, everything is perfect. It is particularly noteworthy that the apartment is ideal for a family vacation with children. Small but nice hut in a secluded location. In good weather, we were able to make extensive use of the beautiful terrace and the reservoir 200m away.

We had a great week in a well-equipped, very nicely located forest cottage...With the guest card we could reach Innsbruck by bus...and the bus shuttle to the Zirbenweg...The weather was great and we felt very comfortable! There are other huts next to the hut (nice neighbors), but the garden is not visible and you are surrounded by nature. From the garden you also have a beautiful view of the mountains....for the reception Carmen provided drinks, a nice surprise! The forest chalet is highly recommended!

We enjoyed the short break on the mountain farm very much. Our host Elisabeth welcomed us warmly and was always available to us with help and tips during the stay! The place was clean and offered above-average comfort for a rustic log cabin, such as an oven, dishwasher, microwave and underfloor heating in the bathroom. Our baby also lacked nothing. A crib, high chair, fireplace guard, and diaper pail have made our lives much easier. The proximity to the farm was also nice, which offered everything you could think of, especially for our older children. Feeding chickens, goats and sheep, milking cows, petting donkeys and rabbits, riding a tractor, a large playground and lots of kettcars left nothing to be desired for children. Thank you for the wonderful stay! We will be happy to come back.

The alpine pasture is located in a picturesque mountain panorama surrounded by peaks and cow pastures. We enjoyed the week at Grafennsalm very much and would come again at any time!!
