Surridge Cottage - Peaceful retreat

HannahRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Surridge Cottage is beautiful, as soon as we arrived down the lane we knew it would be perfect and it was and more. The cottage has been beautifully restored with high end finishes. Even the heated floor in the bathroom didn't go missed (my daughter loved it). Great location, we took a few trips out. Went into Lyme Regis and took the children to Crealy. If you want a private country break in a cottage, you won't beat it. Thank you, The Mellors x

Westcountry house, hot tub, & outdoor heated pool

ZaraRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We spent the half term break at Little Burston with our two young children, we had a wonderful time. The accommodation was everything we hoped from the previous brilliant reviews and more. A clean, bright and large space. Well equipped with everything you could want (games, DVD’s, kitchen utensils). A tranquil and peaceful setting not far away from Dulverton and within striking distance of lots of activities. The hot tub kept the adults happy and the kids loved the garden, trampoline and games of football. Carol was a great host, instructions left at the property were clear and easy. Walking recommendations all great. Goats and chickens out of the kitchen window was a highlight for the kids. Up there with the best Airbnb’s we’ve been to in the UK. We would not hesitate to return, if visiting North Devon again and couldn’t recommend this place highly enough.

Dunstone Cottage

TanyaRating, 5 stars2 days ago
What an amazing stay! It was everything we were hoping for and more. The cottage had everything we needed and also some nice personal touches too. It was so relaxing sitting in the hot tub, listening and watching the birds . The weather was a little unsettled for us but not a problem, as we could sit in the summer house, and look out at the lovely view and our neighbours the sheep! Claire was very responsive with messaging and will look forward to visiting again soon. 🙂

‘The Nest’ A beautiful cottage in Devon

SarahRating, 5 stars2 days ago
Our family of five, which includes three adult children, thoroughly enjoyed staying at The Nest. It is as pictured and described and spotlessly clean. We stayed for 3 nights, which included a wedding at a nearby venue, spending time in all the different areas of the cottage, and going for a lovely circular walk from the door. Many thanks Sarah

The Cottage, Parsonage Farmhouse with hot tub

HarrietRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a really lovely stay here this week. The garden is beautiful, so peaceful and we even saw a woodpecker hopping around the grass one afternoon. Our daughter adored the trampoline and climbing frame, we also really enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub each day after exploring. We did day trips to Lyme Regis, Beer and Forde Abbey & Gardens. A perfect, peaceful spot to spend a few days, thank you.

Charming Stone Cottage: Hot Tub, Games Room

MartynRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Very well appointed and great for a family, we had an 18 month old with us. The games room is a little gimmicky but was fun along with all the board games as we had a little one with us so adds a little to the stay along with the hot tub and beautiful garden as couldn’t pop to the pub in the evening. There is also a cache of cars which our daughter loved to play with, it was these nice little touches that made a difference. Some great recommends from the host and the local area is handy and beautiful with a play park just a 10 min walk away. Recommend the Rose and Crown pub on a sunny day, 15-20minute walk, garden is great and little slide for kids. Traffic is the only downside to the area really but the house is nestled away from it all.

Abbey View Cottage - Scandi Hot Tub - EV Charging

ChristopherRating, 5 stars1 day ago
Ok, if you are looking at this cottage and wondering whether to book it....just do it, stop wondering. You can thank me later. The quiet hits you first, only birdsong and the sound of the breeze through the trees. A genuinely beautiful, tranquil cottage, simply but lovingly presented with all the things you need. A kitchen with stove/oven, fridge, toaster, kettle and Nespresso coffee maker. A spotless shower room, and a separate lavatory complete with wash basin. The lovely large bed, comfortable chairs, table and bookcase all highlight the time and effort the hosts have spent creating something special. Hot tub ? Yes, very private and very relaxing too. The hosts had fired up the wood burner so that when we arrived the water was nice and toasty, perfect to enjoy the sweeping view to the valley below. (Bring flip flops or crocs as the path to the hot tub has an area of gravel). In short, we have absolutely loved time here. Many thanks Rhys & Lizzie for making it possible.

CarolynRating, 5 stars3 days ago
June in Beer is delightful. Quaint main street leading to a pebble beach (dogs to the left OK ). Can buy fresh fish/crabs on the slipway. Cute beach huts. Carol's place is on a steep hill, close to the beach, right by the old church. Its a lovely terrace cottage with everything we needed for a great weekend stay during fossil weekend in Lyme Regis about 10 miles away. Brandscome beach is over the valley and is family/dog friendly, with a super cafe, easy cheaper parking and less crowded pebble beach. Highly recommend this part of the UK and carol's place.

Self contained charming cottage heart of Topsham

SuzyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The cottage was a perfect base for visiting our family in Exeter. Lovely for a mini break - we really enjoyed exploring Topsham's pubs, taproom and cafes, and the tapas place opposite the cottage. The cottage was even better than the photos, and bigger. The courtyard is tranquil, the cottage characterful, all very clean. Big bedroom, comfy bed. Comfortable lounge and really good shower. We were prepared for the 2 sets of windy stairs, which were fine for us. We particularly enjoyed trips to Powderham Castle (complete with petting zoo!) and The Turf. We'll be back, thank you!

This is a real gem and Tina is a very welcoming host. We settled in so well we could have stayed longer and will return we hope. A car helps if you want to visit the coast as we did (Beer was my favourite, and Sidmouth). We can recommend the walk to the local pub The Tuckers Arms and everyone in the village is friendly.

Happy Riverside Cottage by the Seaside, Lyme Regis

TeresaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Mike’s place was a good value and very cute for our 2 nights in Lyme Regis. The location was lovely. The babbling river was lovely at night. Note the parking is nearby up a very steep hill and is paid. We enjoyed walking everywhere in the city. We had very nice food. The bed and pillows were not terribly comfortable but the flat met our needs.

Charming holiday cottage in Woodbury, Devon

SaraRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Perfectly formed mini lodge/shack at the bottom of the garden, with plenty of space. Friendly hosts - just to say hello and make known, not at all over bearing :) Great location, two pubs, chippy and local shop all walkable. Coast and Exmouth an easy drive away. We stayed for local event ten mins away, so was great for us. Rustic, clean, plenty of books, kitchen utensils and pans if want to cook. Two dining areas lounge area and in conservatory area. Outdoor sheltered decking area if warm. Log burner in lounge area if cold! Comfy bed and easy parking for car. As pics and all fab :) Only negative, if summery and hot no green ‘garden’ area but accommodation surrounded by green so not a problem really.
