Such a lovely cottage and would say even better than the photos! Great that the river doesn’t have motorised boats and very quiet with just the one cottage further up. A little slippy to get in on the rocks but once you’ve done it once and got a route it is all good! Great communication from Yolanda with detailed instructions. Thank you!

Loved our stay! The place is beautiful and the homes, with their originality, make the experience truly unique. Our host was exceptional: very accommodating and always quick to answer our questions. We will definitely be back to discover other cottages!

A great condo close to the mountain. Clean and well furnished.

The cottage on the lake is idyllic. Beautiful view, ideal location on the elevated lake. The path to get there in winter is a little sporty but it's good, travel light! The cottage is well-equipped, but bring your pillows for extra comfort. The mattresses are a little hard but camping so you can expect it. Super well equipped for cooking and above all very comfortable. We recommend it!

We had an unforgettable experience during our stay and look forward to returning next year. The island was beautiful, the many different houses accommodated our large group and each family of the 5 that went had their own space to unwind. The kitchen was beautiful and made meal prep and cooking so easy. The kida had lots to do with basketball, board games, mini pool tables, hot tub and the highlight was definitely the swimming. The water was great, warm and clear at any given time during the day and the kids had so much fun jumping off the docks, using the paddle boats and the canoes. We all had such a great time and are so thankful to Marla and Sherri-an employee who helped us when we checked in and checked out- Sherri was a great help, kind, friendly, hospitable and even recommended a different cottage with less steps for next year that I will definitely look into because it was a beautiful experience. Don't think twice about booking your stay here my family and I loved it!

We enjoyed this stay, but it wasn't clear from the listing just how off the grid it was. No electrical outlets (though there was an arrangement for charging devices), no cell coverage, no WiFi, no running water (equipped with a very effective pump from a well for drinking water, and a supply of non-potable water for showers, etc.). Would absolutely recommend it, but you should know what you're getting into :-)

The accommodation is very rustic, but extremely clean. Everything was well thought out in advance, it's a great place to take a nature retreat.

This was actually our first experience with air bnb, and Lanzer & Spring did not disappoint. They were open and friendly, answered any questions quickly, and we just felt completely welcome. Their home was pristine and bright. It was the perfect getaway for our anniversary. While we didn't use the treehouse, we did explore it, and we hope to bring our kids back for a family visit one day! We enjoyed visiting the chickens, and the fresh eggs were a lovely surprise. The scenery is stunning, and the quiet soothed our souls. Thank you so much, it was just the grounding that we needed.

If you have any inclination for a retreat in the woods and a cozy, clean, minimalist space — this is the spot for you! Both the indoor and outdoor showers are luxurious. The bed was the best sleep we've had in ages. Even the yard furniture is comfortable. Not to mention the lovely hot tub! The surrounding nature is incredible. It's so quiet and beautiful, and the delight of the space can't be understated. The hosts were incredibly responsive — at one point, we couldn't figure out the outdoor lights, and they remotely helped us find and flip the appropriate breaker. Highly recommended!

Rustic tree cabin as described by Arthur. It was perfect for a mini-camping-esque trip. We enjoyed the small paddle in the canoe, the campfire, and the wood stove.

Raven’s Roost truly felt like a home away from home. Every detail—from the kitchen and bathroom to the linens—was impeccably clean, which is rare to find in many Airbnbs that often feel lived in. Zoë’s place was the exception. The architecture was thoughtfully planned and beautifully executed, making it the perfect retreat from the city. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and well-designed getaway.

The Rock House was absolutely beautiful and just what we needed! perfect peafuk location with great amenities. Sandy and Lou were super nice and helpful hosts and we definitely look forward to the next time we can come back to this little get away! kind of jealous of their little slice of heaven up north :)

We had a great stay at Christian's. The cabin was very comfortable, with all the necessary equipment for a small stay for two. The setting is very quiet and beautiful, especially under the snow! The sauna and hot tub (shared with another cabin) were great. Thanks to Christian for hosting us and for his kindness!

I sort of selfishly don't want to write this because I feel I found a secret gem in this place but they deserve your business so: FABULOUS in every way! Sheila and her crew are pro-level. I felt totally comfortable from the moment I booked until the moment I left. It is a magical space and they are lovely, lovely people. They were available, helpful and friendly but also gave us our space. It was a COLD, rainy May weekend but so unbelievable cozy and we still effortlessly had the best time. I am having trouble imagining a season that would not be perfect here. Would go back, 100%.
