Apartment vacation rentals in Ottawa River

Very happy with our three night stay. The apartment had everything we needed, there were good shops and restaurants within walking distance, accessible to bus routes, and the hosts were kind and very responsive. A great choice for a stay in Ottawa!

Geo is a fantastic host. Quick to respond to any question and his place was exactly as described. The unit was extremely clean, comfortable and with lots of personal extras. It felt just like home! His friendly parents live upstairs and his mother even brought some homemade baklava and pita treats down to us. The location is very close to public transportation, the highway and shopping. Parking is safe and onsite. We would definitely stay here again.

My stay at Marcel and Trudy’s was terrific. Everything was as it appeared in the photos and all was extremely comfortable.

Had an amazing stay here. I was visiting Ottawa for work and had two really long days, but this was the perfect place to come back to. It was cozy, quiet, spotless, and so comfortable—I genuinely looked forward to unwinding here each night. Slept great both nights. Thank you, hopefully I’ll be back again ☺️

Lovely AirBnB in a great location. Very walkable neighborhood just a short Lyft ride from the airport. Everything was as pictured and described. The hosts are friendly and thoughtful, and provided great recommendations for my visit. I would definitely stay here again next time I’m in the area!

Perfect for a 10-day long stay in a quiet family neighborhood for work at a 12-minute walking distance from the nearby Federal offices.

Great stay! The location was perfect for our visit around Ottawa, close to everything we needed. The host was very communicative and made check-in/check-out easy. The space had everything we needed for a comfortable couple of nights.

I am back and forth to Ottawa a few times per year and I’m so happy I found Michela’s place! The property was super clean and all amenities were as described. I had everything I needed. The location was perfect. The neighborhood is a quick walk to Dow’s Lake, Little Italy, and Chinatown but still quiet. I had easy access to the LRT to get anyway I needed to go, including the Airport. Definitely book this place but please let some availability for me! :)

A lovely place to stay in Gatineau, we had a wonderful time, and everything was super convenient from check-in to location and access to shops, eateries, etc. Loved that it was so close to the water, in a quiet neighbourhood. Would recommend for short or long stay! Thank you Rebecca.

Tracy went out of her way to make our stay as comfortable and convenient as possible. She had everything we needed in the kitchen and bathroom, and even left us a welcome gift of wine and chocolate. She responded in timely fashion to our questions, and gave us tips for shopping, museums and getting around the city. We were very pleased with the apartment, which was spacious, tastefully furnished and well-provisioned. It was a great experience! I highly recommend this host.

We’ve stayed in Airbnb’s all over the world and this immediately became one of our favorites. Beautiful spot on the river, relaxing hot tub and everything was super clean. The place was very comfortable for our family. It was a rainy weekend, so we didn’t get to take full advantage of all the outdoor amenities but hope to come back at some point for pickleball and kayaking.

This was our third time staying here and as always the accommodations were clean and the pool and hot tub were a hit! Great location, walking distance to downtown restaurants and activities.

Very nice apartment on the ground floor of a house. Top equipment and a joy to sleep quietly in a super nice and cozy bed. Jean François has always been available and responsive. I would recommend it and would come back without hesitation if I pass by again!

Carley's home was beautiful and very clean. Fully stocked kitchen with everything and anything you might need. the hot tub was very clean and private. beautiful home.

Staying at Sebastian’s was magnificent, you can tell he really put attention into every detail, and he was very helpful with local suggestions and any questions I had. A bnb so perfect I’ve left a little piece of my heart.

We had a wonderful stay at Kimberly's place. There were issues with rain so she upgraded us for free to a bigger place which was very kind of her. We had everything we needed for one evening. We especially enjoyed the hot tub. We only wish we could have been in there for longer than the hour we were given as it is shared... Also, even though it was on a main street, it was pretty quiet. I would highly recommend staying at any of Kimberly's properties.

Such a beautifully decorated and well-appointed space for our last minute “mini-moon!” The apartment was spotless and had absolutely everything we needed, and then some. The thoughtful touches (robes, slippers, treats) were much appreciated. We loved the hot tub with the river view. Robert and Taurean were friendly and very responsive hosts! We would return in a heartbeat.

We were lucky enough to stay at this cottage and it was an exceptional experience, thanks in large part to Nancy and her spouse, hosts of rare kindness and exemplary dedication. Upon arrival, we were greeted with warmth and kindness. Always available and attentive, they did not hesitate to lend us personal belongings, to help us in different situations and to ensure that our stay is as comfortable and pleasant as possible. Their generosity and hospitality really marked our time here. Beyond their incredible helpfulness, they are people of great sympathy, with whom it is simply nice to exchange and share moments. Thanks to them, our stay was even more memorable. We will come back without hesitation and recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a beautiful place with exceptional hosts.
