Vacation rentals with beach access in Ottawa River

Our weekend getaway was just wonderful! The view was spectacular, the hosts were kind and attentive, the apartment was nice and cozy.. we highly recommend this place and will be back for sure!

Michel’s place was really beautiful, peaceful and relaxing. It had everything you need and more! We spent a week with our dog enjoying the perfect location and space. From hot tub to the pellet stove to the arcade game, this truly has everything you need to relax and enjoy. From pre check in to check out, Michel was an outstanding host who was always responsive and helpful. He is so kind and warm always willing to help if we needed anything at all. Truly a superb host! We really would love to come back someday.

Our stay at Carmel’s was exceptional. This is possibly the best Airbnb I have stayed at in a decade. Not only is she a welcoming host, but she takes care to ensure that every aspect of comfort and convenience is attended to. The space is aesthetically designed and decorated, and it has everything a traveller needs. Carmel was just as welcoming of our two dogs. Five stars all the way. Almonte itself is a lovely little town and I highly recommend using it as a base if you are looking to explore the National Capital Area or stopping overnight if you are returning to the GTA from Quebec or the Maritimes.

I felt right at home to relax. I slept like a Princess. There is absolutely nothing missing. All types of coffee machines are there! The basic is there (coffee, tea, cream pods not dry stuff! Bread and yummy too! The tv had all the possible networks. One needs to use their own membership. I enjoyed working remote. There is a simple and nice set-up for that. I felt safe, travelling alone. Very long and private parking. Located right "down town". Beach at 10 minutes walk. All perfect!

Christine was a very good host, we loved the apartment and had a great stay in Ottawa. Absolutely recommended!

This place is incredibly peaceful, with beautiful surroundings. There's a great walking path—about 3 km one way. There’s also a canoe and a kayak available, which is a great bonus. Suzanna and Fred were the perfect hosts. We shared many wonderful conversations, and they were always helpful with anything we needed. Their hospitality truly made our stay special. We would definitely go back happily and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. Just don’t forget your bug spray!

We were in town for my son's basketball finals, and were fortunate enough to rent Rianne & Blake's lovely apartment which was in walking distance to the venue. They were quick and concise with communication, and incredibly helpful with getting my son checked in before my arrival. Their apartment is exactly as listed - very clean and very comfortable. We had a great time and I would book with them again without second thought or hesitation if we were ever in the area. There are, in small doses, pitter patter of happy little feet. But may I assure you - coming from someone who's overstimulated by excessive and continuous noise - unless you are an actual troll under a bridge, they are of no disruption. I would actually be more disturbed to know there are little humans upstairs and not hear them at all. We both very much enjoyed our stay. Thank you Rianne and Blake for your hospitality.

We had a wonderful stay at Robertas cottage. It was very clean and had everything you could need to cook. Roberta was very quick in response to questions. I can very positively recommend this accomodation!! 😁

Terrific location and nice setup in the house. A separate living room space in the home was bright and easy to close off for some extra quiet for remote work. Good espresso maker. Restaurants in walking distance. And groceries a short drive away. Great access to westboro beach and riverfront trails. Brenda was very responsive and communicative. We enjoyed our stay!

Mercy’s place has a very cozy feel. The house feels worn in, in a nice way. You can tell people have lived in it for probably decades. Lots of privacy and beautiful nature engulfing the house. 5min drive to all amenities you could think of. For any music creatives out there, the basement is literally perfect for recording music. If you’re a light sleeper, one thing to note is the house is located next to a more Main Street with frequent cars and buses. The house also had no air conditioning that we were aware of, so for anyone that struggles with heat, it will feel quite warm during hot weather. For us these were merely trivialities; we loved our stay :)

Absolutely stunning setting and a very clean and well appointed rental. Charming vibe and super cozy set up. Amazing master suite and also very comfortable secondary suite. My family all felt “right at home” and we would definitely consider returning on our next visit to the Ottawa area. Jumped in the Ottawa River on May 18th and can attest to the cleanliness of the water and the nice sandy beach! Exceptional place to relax, refresh and recharge! We loved David's home and felt at home during our stay. The area is beautiful, peaceful, and quiet. We felt the hosts were responsive, accessible, and helpful. The home is clean, comfortable, and cozy. We would definitely stay again!

This was my third time staying at this air bnb. It’s beautiful and the neighbourhood is lovely. We go to the Nordik spa and it’s a nice quick drive. There’s a cute cafe not far we had breakfast at. I highly recommend this air bnb.

Loved our stay. The condo is beautiful, very spacious and very well-equipped. 10/10.

This condo is perfect for a skiing holiday. We really enjoyed the opportunity to ski-in and ski-out and loved seeing skiers zooming down the hill from the windows. The birch forest outside the large dining room window and balcony is stunning--especially after a snowfall. The interior is well designed, beautifully decorated, clean and well equipped.

Peter was very quick with his responses and took the time to look up what was near the air bnb. The location was amazing since it was right beside a ski resort and 20 minutes away was the most beautiful skating trail in the forest. The air bnb itself was very nice. We cooked dinner and it had everything we needed and seasoning as well. The only thing would be the TV which we didn’t bring a laptop to connect to, which Peter did communicate to us we needed. It was a very great stay and Peter was ever helpful and kind ! Will come back in the summer for the lake.

We recently stayed at Phil’s place and although short, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Kitchen is very well equipt, beds are comfortable, it was clean, quiet and the views looking over the water were amazing. Be mindful that there are two sets of full stairs to get from the bedrooms to the kitchen but would we go there again, absolutely.
