Waterfront vacation rentals in Otsego

This is my second stay at Melinda and Kim’s Airbnb. They are the most wonderful hosts, and the place is beautiful and comfy. Melinda goes above and beyond with everything she does.

We had a lovely stay at Alexandra’s apartment. The design was cozy and lovely with eclectic artwork tastefully displayed throughout. The fridge was well stocked with a variety of complimentary beverages, as well as a large variety of coffee and tea available. We had everything we needed and the bed and furniture were very comfortable. She was kind, welcoming and helpful. We would definitely come back!

Bernie was a great host. He met us to greet us and check us in and show us around the place because it is a little unique. The house is wonderful and oozes with history. There are a couple things about the set up of the unit to be aware of. The kitchen is completely enclosed within the house so there are no windows and no way to exhaust fumes - just be aware of this so you do not unwittingly set off the smoke alarm and disturb the neighbors in adjacent units. Also, the door to the bathroom, which is between the two bedrooms within the cottage unit doesn't lock, so you will need to come up with a system to alert your travel partners when someone is using the bathroom to avoid walking in on each other. Other than those two points for awareness, though, everything else is great. The bedrooms are huge, the beds are comfortable, the linens are pristine, the kitchen has everything you need, and the house is right by Otsego Lake and only a block from Main St. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

From the moment we arrived, we felt like we had stepped into a peaceful dream tucked away in the mountains. The home was spotless, cozy, and beautifully decorated – every detail felt thoughtful and welcoming. Waking up to the sound of birds and sipping coffee while overlooking the rolling hills was pure serenity.The host, Jane, was incredibly kind, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed. The little touches like the fresh linens, local guidebooks, and even a basket of snacks – made us feel truly cared for.If you’re looking for a romantic getaway, a peaceful solo retreat, or time with friends in nature, Roxbury Hills offers the perfect setting. David and Merry were some of the kindest and most generous hosts we’ve ever met. They went out of their way to make our stay perfect, even choosing not to rent out the other part of the house during our visit to give us more privacy. They welcomed us warmly, shared great local tips, helped us book a restaurant and even sent us a bottle of wine there. The house was beautiful, super comfortable, and had everything we needed. We felt truly cared for and would absolutely love to come back!

Randy & Kim’s place was the absolute nicest done & cleanest airbnb I’ve ever been to & I’ve stayed at a lot of very nice places! The beds, pillows, couch, linens & towels were all extremely comfortable too! It was stocked with everything we ended up needing that we hadn’t thought to bring which was a relief! The fireplace by the water & games made for great entertainment! The kayaks were available however we ran out of time to enjoy however the hosts even answered questions & let us know in advance that preservers were provided! Randy & Kim were both very friendly & extremely helpful! I can’t thank them enough for providing such a wonderful place for my family to stay during my daughter’s graduation!

Robyn is wonderful! She is very helpful and incredibly kind. This place is paradise. A very peaceful and relaxing, home away from home. The amenities are wonderful, we were able to kayak and listen to some beautiful records, it was absolutely amazing! You will not regret staying here. Put it on your bucket list:)

We were looking for a place to stay near our son in Ballston Lake and this one stood out. Historic and unique home. Beth was a great host, very responsive to any communication. The place met our needs and had a nice view of the Mohawk River in the back yard. Just be aware they are right on a highway so there is a lot of traffic noise, and there are 2-3 apartments in the place as well. But overall that was well described and expected and ear plugs worked just fine. Thanks for sharing your home Beth!

The house was comfortable and the water views were peaceful.

Betty is such a fun and gracious host! Our place was pristine clean with a very well stocked kitchen-- plenty of utensils and nice little touches to mage itc warm and cozy. The river attracts lots of wildlife. Go to Northvill le for anything you might want or need. JF Farms has a great country store with a bakery next door!

This is a gem, a peaceful, private place beside a stream behind the big house. The little house is spacious and I sometimes felt inclined to cook during my week long stay, listening to the stream or to music. The bed is very comfortable and there is an air purifier and filtered water. Tuli, the resident dog in the big house is gentle and affectionate. I felt very much at home and hope to stay again.

Excellent location with private pond. This home was truly built for a family gathering. Wonderful entertaining spaces, large fireplace with an expansive kitchen to cook in. There is a large game room with board games to suite all ages, billiards, croquet, and a small row boat for fun.

We spent the weekend in the area and Tim’s place was fantastic. It’s loaded with charm, comfortable and very well appointed and stocked (right down to treats for the dog). The location is beautiful and the views are amazing. Can’t wait to return!

Had a great stay at this Airbnb—peaceful and scenic with an incredible waterfall right on the property. My dog had a blast exploring the trails and walking along the stream (I even braved a few cold dips myself!). Not much nearby, so it was a nice change of pace to cook and unwind—just be sure to check for ticks after those hikes!

One of the best stays I’ve ever had! The house is absolutely amazing – beautiful, cozy, tastefully designed, and by far the most well-equipped Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. Every little detail has been thoughtfully considered, from the fully stocked kitchen to all the extras that make the stay so comfortable. The hosts were incredibly responsive and kind, always available to answer any questions we had. I will definitely be coming back. Highly recommended!

Perfectly set up and spotless. The unit is supplied with everything you could possibly need. By far the best organized, supplied and clean Airbnb we have ever stayed in.

5 stars, 5 stars, 5 stars!! I would just like to say I’ve stayed in many Air B&Bs before, and this one is by far one of my favorites. The hosts are absolutely amazing. They are proactive in responding and really want you be be comfortable and making sure you have no issues. The price was 100% worth it. I love that they included board games as a part of the space, such a nice touch. The bathrooms and bedrooms were also so clean, and we enjoyed our stay. You can really tell the hosts put a lot of love and care into this place. I can’t say enough good things about them!

Great host, responsive and accommodating! Place was clean and felt right at home away from home! Check in and check out was easy, parking on site, nice neighborhood, cozy place, will definitely be staying here again!

Perfect place for skiers. Cozy and very clean. Very close to the Hunter mountain. Karoline helped me with places to eat and was very attentive. 100% satisfaction. I will definitely be back!
