Vacation rentals with beach access in Otsego

Very nice, reasonably spacious apartment taking up the entire second floor of a house, with a separate entrance. Obviously rehabbed sometime recently. As the listing and comments say, the stairs going up are solid, but have a pretty narrow tread, so you have to be careful. The water, especially the hot water in the bathroom, has a distinct sulfurous odor, but seems to be fine for washing/showering. (Susan left us some large bottles of fresh water in the fridge for drinking. ) There is no air conditioning, but there are a couple of fans. The apartment can get pretty hot midday/afternoon in the heat of summer (probably mid to late July/early August), so if you'll be there at that time and will be spending the daytime in your room, you might want to consider someplace else with air conditioning. But even then, nights usually cool down. Floors are a little uneven. Very short ride to Glimmerglass opera nearby. A short walk to the marvelous Sunflower Cafe for breakfast or lunch.

We had a wonderful stay, the location is perfect for skiing at Belleayre and accessing restaurants as well as other activities. The space is very clean and perfectly appointed. Charlie was always proactive at communicating and available if anything arose. 4-Wheel drive is necessary in the winter - snow removal was always very prompt. We had a great stay and would absolutely go back.

It was a perfect place for 2. The home was beautiful inside and out. The property was well maintained and attractive. The setting was stunning. Having kayaks available was a bonus. Inside, nothing was missed. Communication was clear and simple; they offered good suggestions on restaurants and places to visit. Would definitely return!

We had a lovely stay at Alexandra’s apartment. The design was cozy and lovely with eclectic artwork tastefully displayed throughout. The fridge was well stocked with a variety of complimentary beverages, as well as a large variety of coffee and tea available. We had everything we needed and the bed and furniture were very comfortable. She was kind, welcoming and helpful. We would definitely come back!

We had a really comfortable stay at Eileen and Randy’s place. It was accurately described and immaculately clean. Eileen was very reachable and responsive and it was lovely to meet her and put a face to the name. We were visiting family in the area all the way from Sydney Australia. Eileen and Randy’s really was our home away from home!

Tracy was a great host and very communicative! If we are ever in the area again we’d love to book with her again.

Was a very nice and super clean place. Nice quiet area but with plenty of restaurants and stores just a few miles up the street. I highly recommend this place.

Where do I begin... I've stayed at numerous Airbnb properties, but this one stands out as one of the most beautiful settings I've encountered. The views of the lake are breathtaking, and having direct access to it was a huge bonus. We made full use of the canoes and kayaks provided, enjoying them every day. My husband, an avid fisherman, was thrilled with the lake, calling it one of the best freshwater fishing spots he's ever visited. The grounds are impeccably maintained and offer plenty of privacy. Inside, the house is both comfortable and well-appointed. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the pots, pans, utensils, and small appliances you could need. The beds are extremely comfortable, and the linens are of high quality. The furniture is tasteful and inviting. Karen was a wonderful host, easy to communicate with and responsive. My only regret is that we didn't stay longer. I would return in a heartbeat and recommend this place without hesitation.

This place is such a gem! They thought of everything and so many special touches. We stayed here after taking the boys to Cooperstown for baseball and it did not disappoint. We hope to come again!

This was a 12/10 experience! My girlfriend and I both brought out two pups and loved every second of our stay. Every corner we turned was a new decoration in the house that caught our eye, so creative and fun!! Soaked up the back yard, fire pit, and water! We will definitely be returning!!

Perfect size for our family. Loved that they had a little play area for the kiddos and a lot of essential amenities for the kids. Used the grille and the huge kitchen was nice for all our home cooked meals.

The residence was lovely and clean. perfect for relaxing short get away. The one slight negative is the road noise. This is certainly out of the owners control. The afternoon and evening traffic, especially motorcycle traffic can be a annoying. There is a beautiful view of the lake from the 3 season room. traffic noise falls off about 730pm. we had a lovely stay.

Thanks Matt for hosting us. The Airbnb was located in a beautiful location with the lake just directly opposite. It was also a comfortably short drive to Saratoga. Matt’s place was clean and beautiful and exactly as described. Matt was also extremely communicative throughout our stay. Thanks again!

Dave’s place was fantastic for our stay in Cooperstown! It was a 2 minute drive to dream park village, and 10 mins from beautiful downtown!

Beautiful, lakefront home! All the amenities you would ever expect and more. Allie proactively communicated and the instructions were clear and informative. My family and I especially enjoyed all the outdoor areas-- the porch, fireplace and lake front.

Great location. I was in town to attend my granddaughter’s Christening. Took in the casino as well. Enjoyable stay.

We had a great stay at Troy ’s Airbnd . It is a beautiful place, immaculately clean and a brilliant location. I would book again. Troy was great at communicating with us and checked we were OK during our stay. I will definitely book again .Highly recommended!

Awesome Airbnb. Fit our whole group with plenty of room in the living room for us all to relax together. Nice big kitchen. Beautiful views and awesome beach. Only negative are the spiral stairs on the back deck, they are a little steep but still doable. Really convenient how many restaurants and shops are in walking distances. Great for a friends or family trip. Will definitely be coming back.
