Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Ostermundigen

I consider myself lucky to have discovered this quiet oasis in the vineyards of Vallamand. Naomi and Romain were there when I needed them and left enough privacy, even though they live in the same house. The interaction was very pleasant. The studio is a perfect place for singles with a need for rest as well as for couples to experience a change of scenery and enjoy the most beautiful view of Lake Murten and the vineyard landscape. The garden seating area is like another world, the furnishings are simple, but very atmospheric. A Denner is easily accessible nearby via a walk. I would love to come back another time, because I feel reborn after the stay. Thank you so much Naomi and Romain for the wonderful stay!

We loved the place ! We used it as our base to explore Switzerland with a eurail train pass, did day trips to Zurich, Basel, Geneva, Lauterbrunnen, Thun, Interlaken and Bern. Walkable distance from the train station, also a beautiful walk in a pretty village circled by mountains. The place was squeaky clean and had everything we needed. Very friendly host, was responsive and gave clear instructions. We even had a binder explaining how to use the ameneties and with local recommandations. Would go back if I was to travel to Switzerland again !

We stayed here for 6 nights and everything was blissful from the start as Gitte welcomed us and patiently showed us around. She even gave us great tips on where to shop for groceries. Extremely accessible, the bus stop is right outside the house, frequent to the city every 10 mins. The kitchen is well equipped and we enjoyed our stay here. Superb hospitality from Gitte. Would love to stay here again the next time we come to Switzerland.

Me and my friends loved our stay at Judith's and Simon's place. It is such a lovely old style chalet, very well equipped, and so cozy, that we felt right at home. The hosts are also such nice people and welcoming. Staying here definitely made our roadtrip to Switzerland more special. We definitely recommend it.

For 6 of us, it is a great place to stay. You will not have an issue at all if you have your own transportation to go around, which is what we did during the 3 nights there. We cooked dinner for all three nights for 6 of us at the house and enjoyed the view. We have already missed this house now as we are in Interlaken for another 4 nights with a different style of Airbnb. After sharing our photos and experience of the house with my sisters, they are interested in booking the same house for their future trip to Europe.

it was a quick one. ight stop which worked out great for us. wonderful views from the deck which is where we spent our evening, comfortable beds and well stocked kitchen.

It was a great time with the family. I find the accommodation very expensive. But nowadays everything is overpriced anyway. Still, a great location! Perfect for relaxation - Werner is a very nice person. Even gave us a whole bucket of eggs - thank you!

An incredible experience in this great chalet. It is very stylish and looks even better than in the photos. Perfect for a weekend in quiet surroundings. We went there by car, which was worth it (in 15 minutes in Lausanne). Will come again any time!

Our only regret is that we didn’t leave enough time to hang out and explore the immediate area. It’s so quiet and HUGE! This is a LARGE place! I LOVED have 2 separate bathrooms, and a washer and dryer!!

Hands down one of the best Airbnb I have ever booked. The place is even prettier than in the pictures, the train station is super close, as well as many interesting places. Ursula is super friendly and nice. I would definitely come back! Thanks for everything Ursula!

The apartment was very nice and well equipped. The host is very friendly and willing to explain everything. It’s also super walkable from the city center, there’s tram/bus stops nearby as well as a variety of shops and restaurants right around the corner. Planning to come back next time I’m in Bern.

We had a wonderful 4-night stay at Christof’s beautiful apartment complete with a charming garden lovingly tended by his wife Barbara. The quiet neighbourhood is a short distance away from Bern station. Shortly upon our check in, Christof surprised us with a fascinating walking tour of Bern’s old town, sharing historical facts with patience and passion. On checkout day, he let us try his organically grown rhubarb and raspberries, and warmly chatted with us before we left. His hospitality was exceptional—genuine, thoughtful, and memorable. We would love to be back and highly recommend this stay to others.

The Mili’s place is beautiful it’s close to bus station and it’s easy to get everywhere, we feel like at home our stay was amazing, if we came back to Bern , definitely we will come back Mili’ s please 🙏🙏

Book this place if you want to relax in a peaceful place. I stayed for 3 nights, but I wanted to stay for 2 more nights, and it was as comfortable as home, and the house was very spacious. I didn't have to ask the host for anything because I had everything I needed in the house. The view from the accommodation was breathtakingly beautiful, and I was very satisfied with the jacuzzi I could use while looking at the view. I highly recommend this place. Thank you, Ursula!

The surroundings of Doris's apartment are simply WONDERFUL, a special place that will make you feel immense regret when you have to leave. The apartment is small, but it has everything you need, and Doris makes you feel at home, always ready to help you make your stay a great experience. Perfect place for my stay close to the Klinik, nice quiet place in the nature, super easy access with the car, covered parking just in front of the door ( so easy!!). Easy check in and out, all amenities in the house, super well interior decorated ( must have been an interior designer;)) spotless and clean, I had one of my best stays ever of any BnB! Loved this condo. It was spotless, easy to find and the location was excellent. It was not in the middle of town with the crowds, yet easily walkable. Loved the peace and quiet and the views were amazing. A view of Staubbach falls right in front of the kitchen windows and at night the falls are lit up and look magical. The snow capped Mountain View’s of Breithorn mountain from the deck and literally from the sofa as you are watching tv, were awe inspiring. Comfy furniture and bed and a well equipped kitchen. Lisa was great with recommendations and super responsive.

This was our second time staying with Elisabeth. The location in the center, with private parking in front of the property is simply great. We again enjoyed the lovingly, cleanly furnished studio very much. we'd love to come back.

Just one word perfect. We were family of 3 me along with my parents. She even kept chocolates for all of us. We had everything we needed. I highly recommend this place. Don't even think twice before booking

We absolutely loved staying at the home of Anouk, Annekäti, and Annette! They made us feel like it was home. Even though we were in their home, it still felt private. We would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay.

On our round trip through Switzerland, the most beautiful accommodation with breathtaking views. The apartment is super clean and cozy and offers everything you need. From the accommodation, there are many excursion destinations that were easy to reach by car. We felt very comfortable and would be very happy to come back.
