Farmstay vacation rentals in Östergötland County

We had a very nice week in Bart's Villa Kunterbunt. Our 2-year-old son loved the garden and the play area in the attic with play kitchen and wooden train. The house is small but well suited for 3 people. There was a baby travel bed for our son, as he was still too small to sleep in the alcove. Bart was very kind and helpful, phoned us before arrival and explained everything to us. The house is a bit lonely, there are only a few neighboring houses. Nearby there is a lake with a beautiful swimming area, it is 15 minutes to Eksjö and an elk park, and about 50 minutes to Vinmerby, Katthult and Bullerbyn. We will be happy to come back!

We enjoyed the time on Hasselö, in the very nice house of Lina's family very much, great view from all windows, from the balcony, from the jetty! Very friendly welcome with luggage transport from the jetty. Thank you for the very relaxing days, we will be happy to come back!

Very charming accommodation with its soothing surroundings. Nice reception by Åsa and nice with the eggs that were in the fridge when we arrived. Easy to get into Motala for cycling races. Absolutely we will be back.

We had a wonderful time on the beautiful farm. Our children had the opportunity to ride, everyone was very nice and patient and Anne was a great and friendly hostess. In just under 10 minutes, you can be at a beautiful swimming spot. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it.

We spent 10 lovely days here, the house is so beautiful and cozy and the garden was amazing, so big and incredibly peaceful. This is a really private spot, there's no one around for hundreds of meters! Our dog loved to roam free on the premises and had an amazing time. We had fantastic hikes in the area and visited the lovely Vadstena. It totally exceeded all our expectations. Monica, the host, was super quick, friendly and helpful with all our queries. Would recommend 10/10!

My family and I (2 adults and 2 children) enjoyed our stay with Bodil and Bjørn (who are those who live in the main house on the property by the cabin). They were incredibly welcoming and helpful, and the place is perfect for a family with access to a large plot of land with outdoor toys, hammock, and play facilities. We also enjoyed being able to borrow their boat and canoe by the lake which is about 900 meters from the house as well as fishing rod and life jackets. The area is very idyllic and you really feel that you have experienced the real Småland. The only thing to keep in mind is that there is a lot of driving time to visit various sights. However, the nearest supermarket is relatively close (about 9 minutes by car). But definitely worth a visit if you are into nature experiences in the southern Swedish! And really nice hosts.

Nice scandinavian stile old hause. Very great atmosphere there. I hope i have an opportunity to come back. The host where very helpful and friendly.

We spontaneously traveled to Sweden and wanted to have a relaxing time in the archipelago area. On Susanne's farm, we had found a cozy base with the hut. From there we could do a lot or just relax on the terrace. The place is simple and suited us well. Everything you need was there. However, it should be noted that the bedrooms upstairs with very low ceiling height can only be walked bent. The large rock right by the house is a highlight for morning sun refueling and beautiful sunsets . Hikes are possible nearby or kayaking. There is a great swimming spot 3km away. Susanne and Mats are very helpful and yet we were able to enjoy undisturbed tranquility here. In addition, horses, goats, cattle, chickens and cats are on the farm and and a dog looks past from time to time. You don't go wrong here.

Really nice place, and good communication. We experienced that the next guests arrived before the agreed check-out, which was a little strange and we felt a little pressure. We got the impression that they had an agreement with the host that we didn't know about.

The house is cute and completely sufficient if you need accommodation with two children for just a few days. The secluded location and surroundings are simply awesome. Nice communication with the host, house is quick to find with coordinates.

A fantastic cozy space. Perfect for two. The house is very charming and there are all the amenities you might need. Very cozy with the chickens living on the property.

Absolutely fantastic stay, wonderful environment, nice and cozy cottage, much appreciated by the children with sandbox, swings, playhouse and toys. Great and helpful host. Hope to come back again in the future.

Fantastically beautiful, incredibly calm and nice atmosphere. Great fun to see all the animals. The house is incredibly nice, newly renovated bathroom areas and windows in an otherwise older incredibly well-maintained house. Clear instructions on how the accommodation worked and very fun information about the animals, etc. Will definitely book again if available on the next visit to Linköping!

We spent a cozy Christmas week in Magnus house. The house was incredibly cozy and homely and Magnus was easy to contact for questions. The location and area were close to nature and quiet and suited us perfectly as we had our dog and wanted to go for long walks in the forest.

Very special unique place. Really enrichened my trip in the best way possible - incredibly friendly people, amazing place to stay, lots of animals around, lovely atmosphere; it‘s a place to remember forever :)

Staten is a well accommodated residence in a very quiet and beautiful surrounding. Andreas is a great host who had foreseen some chocolate biscuits as welcome gift for our family, which our children greatly appreciated. He was also at all times very responsive to questions we had and gave plenty of suggestions to explore the region. We can surely recommend this house to all future guests and hopefully they will have a similar positive experience as we had.

The stay in Gränna was great. Ola and Lina are very friendly hosts. Unfortunately, we didn't see Ola. Lina helped us with questions. They work in a hotel where we had the opportunity to park and enjoy a delicious dinner. There was also the possibility to have breakfast there, which we did not use. There were three of us in the accommodation and there was more than enough room. The kitchen invites you to cook. There is also a large garden with fruit trees. The washing worked great. The living room invites you to cozy TV evenings. There are plenty of activities around Gränna. However, you are dependent on a car. There is public transport, but by car you are more flexible. We would go back to Ola and Lina's place!

We were a family of 5 and stayed with Mariett almost two weeks. The house was very well equipped and very clean. We felt comfortable right away and Mariett asked upon arrival (next day) how we're doing and if anything is needed. She was very accommodating setting out for us an extra lawn chair and bringing the sun umbrella. We enjoyed the days with trips to lakes, Västervik, the elk farm, Astrid Lingren world, visiting Hasselö, etc. The local lake is a bit more than 1km from the house. You need to walk up the driveway to the street over and back down to the lake (no direct lake access). You can also take the car. We actually felt that from all the lakes visited, the house lake was the best (incl. benches, fire pits, trees for a hammock, scenic view). We were lucky and had not too many mosquitoes, but had a lot of flies (no issue unless in the bedrooms at night). The neighborhood cat was a bit annoying rummaging around the outside dinner table and trying to get into the house.

Stephan was amazing and his place was wonderful. Communication was excellent, the location is absolutely beautiful and our group had a wonderful stay!

The cabin is located on a farm property. You are not quite alone here but have your peace and is always there if you need anything (wood for the fireplace, etc.) Helen and Jonas are very accommodating and friendly. It was nice there and we enjoyed the holiday to the fullest. Thank you

We had a great stay at Johanna and Jen's house. The house was great and had everything we needed. The house was perfectly located so we could easily go into central Norrköping or Kolmården for a day excursion. Was also popular that the daughter got to borrow the toys - it was extra fun! The pool was used very often and was very easy to manage. Overall a very lovely stay and we can warmly recommend it to others. Thank you!

Great place! The converted barn is charming. Surrounded by farmland. Worked well for us, but steep stairs with low ceiling and the loft ladder could be hard for some older folks or with mobility issues. Thanks for a great stay!
