Holidays by the lake Unden

In the middle of West Götalands unspoilt nature with its lakes and forests, near the big lake Vättern, about 5 kilometers from the village of Undenäs and far away from any through traffic, the small country village of Igelstad is located, directly on the lake Unden. The village is a small collection of scattered houses and farms, of which some are permanently inhabited, while others are used as summer cottages. Here, in a large clearing in the forest, the small farm "Nolgården" is situated. The house is a separate, well-equipped classic wooden log house, built in spruce. It was thourougly renovated in 2008. There is a private bathroom, kitchen and private terrace, Internet connection (WLAN) and Amazon Fire TV (Magenta TV). A cozy fireplace and electric heating provide comfortable warmth. Directly from the house you can make nice walks in the unspoilt nature, pick berries and mushrooms, or walk to lake Unden, one of the clearest and most pristine lakes in Sweden. From the house to the west side of the peninsula, there is only 800 meters. Here you can have a swim or enjoy the sunset over Unden. The eastern shore can be reached in quarter of an hour via a forest path. By the shore a canoe lies ready for extensive reconnaissance trips to the beautiful deserted islands and quiet bays. But the area has much more to offer: the romantic Tiveden National Park, Lake Viken, Forsvik and the Göta canal with its locks, and the huge lake Vättern are just a few examples of interesting destinations.

Newly built house + sauna, right by the lake

Cozy little house, 10 meters from the lake, 10 minutes outside Nora. Balcony, sauna, private swimming area, jetty and rowboat. Sunsets are best enjoyed in the hammock on the jetty (summer time). The main building is newly built in 2021 with a new and fresh kitchen and bathroom. Wood-fired fireplace. Open, bright floor plan. Large windows and glass doors facing the lake. Newly built sauna (ready to use), but the exterior and gazebo are still under construction. Quiet area close to forest with nice trails, including Bergslagsleden. Golf course about 3 km away.

Great views, private with your own boat and jetty

Mona's cottage is located privately with nature close by at Lake Norrsjön. In the cottage, there is a large living room with a seating area and sofa bed for two, a bedroom with a bunk bed and a smaller, well-equipped kitchen. The glazed porch with a larger seating area has infrared heating and radiant, beautiful views. Wireless Wi-Fi is included. Toilet as well as shower with hot water are in a separate shed. Floating jetty and small rowboat are included. Dishwashing liquid, soap and toilet paper are available for 1-2 days.

House on the Farm

Here you can experience the silence and take a break from life. Close to nature and swimming. In the house, there is an electric sauna and access to a spa bath outside. At our own lake, you can enjoy a wood-fired sauna and swimming in the lake, why not a trip on the lake with the raft in silence. Access to 2 bicycles is available, for a ride in the surroundings. No smoking indoors in the entire property, smoking outdoors allowed. In winter, we charge a fee of SEK 200 for ice hole making if guests wish to swim in the winter

Lovely house in the countryside

Welcome to Snickargården in scenic Stora Mosshult, Tiveden! Here you rent a charming newly renovated house built in 1886 with room for up to 8 guests. In the house, there are all the amenities of our time but with saved details from the past. Hiking trails and swimming lake are within walking distance. Tiveden's attractions are within walking distance and can be reached by bicycle or car. Bed linens, towels and final cleaning are included. Regrettably, we cannot accommodate pets, as many of our guests are allergic to fur.

Unique lake front cabin on your own peninsula

Relax in this waterfront cabin on your own private peninsula in the beautiful Dalarna region. Enjoy the 200° water views and spend the days swimming or fishing from the private jetty with 2 kayaks available for use. Pick berries or mushrooms in the nearby forest or walk on beautiful trails. Cuddle up next to the fireplace and enjoy the sunset before bed. In the winter, experience the white landscape, walk or ski on the frozen lake. Alpine or cross-country skiing in close driving proximity.

Newly-equipped house with its own bay and rowboat

Lovely vacation home for those who like animals and nature! Here you can fish, swim, hike and cycle. In the nearby area, there are several nature reserves as well as hiking and biking trails. You have access to a simple rowing boat (life jackets can be borrowed) and your own swimming cove or you can borrow our jetty where you can dive or fish. We are located between Örebro and Karlskoga in Norhammar. Towels and sheets are not included. For an additional cost, they can be rented from the host.

Little red house - Sweden as you imagine it!

You like to glance out of the window, over a wild meadow leading to a lake? While having some buttered toast and your freshly brewed first coffee of the day? I guess you'll like it here. The little red house is about 90m away from of the Spannsjö, on which's shores my farm is the only real estate.Your little red house has everything you need, no matter the season: sleeping room with 4beds, living room, bathroom, fully functional kitchen and your own washing machine.Wifi is in the house.

A uniqe cottage at a small farm 200 m from Hjälmaren. We try to walk as light on earth as possible. The environment is perfect for relaxing nature experiences. On the farm we keep, cows, chickens, geese, ducks a dog and two cats and bees. Possibilty to rent an inflatable kajak with 1-3 seats and/or a SUP. " Et veldig koselig sted. The gem of Norra Vätättern

On a ridge overlooking the beautiful archipelago of northern Vättern lies our modern, newly built holiday home with large social areas and a fantastic ceiling height with nice light inclusions. Here, a slightly larger group/family can find recovery with proximity to nature, yet it is only 10 minutes by car to the beautiful small town of Askersund. Tiveden National Park is close to Harjebaden's long sandy beach. The house was ready in autumn 2018 and has all amenities.

Klippan's guest house

At one of the highest points in old Askersund is Villa Klippan and separately on the property you will find this exclusively furnished guest room. Adjustable beds, kitchen with induction stove, microwave and refrigerator. Bathroom with shower and washing machine. Private breakfast terrace. Close to the city center, swimming and walking paths. Bed linens and towels are in the room when you arrive and final cleaning can be added by agreement for SEK 150

If you are looking for a comfortable living in the middle of nature for you and your family, this is a nice choice. The accommodation includes one canoe that can fit 3 adults. Life jackets and paddles also included. Walking distance to the lake and river. Transport of canoe to other lakes can be arranged for a small fee.
